Ungolim is a Bosmer assassin and a Listener of the Dark Brotherhood's Black Hand, during the final days of the Third Era.

Personality

Ungolim is rather reclusive and owns a small two floored house in Bravil. Every day he prays to the Night Mother, showing his intense devotion to her and the Dark Brotherhood.

Black Hand and death

After ascending to Listener, he participated in the decision making process that eventually led to the ritual of Purification,^[source?] which was an attempt to root out the traitor, being unleashed on the Cheydinhal Sanctuary. The Hero, a rising member, performed the ritual. The ritual, however, did not kill the traitor, who then swapped the Dead Drop Orders from Lucien Lachance, leading to the deaths of the Black Hand by the hand of the Hero.

A Kiss Before Dying

While praying to the Night Mother in front of her statue, also known as the Lucky Old Lady in Bravil, he was assassinated by the Hero.
