• 00:19:39: The Crusader of Truth: o/
  • 00:32:06: Nekyn Alb: Hello
  • 00:32:12: ShawnCognitionCP: Hello
  • 00:32:32: Qahnaarin1997: Hello.
  • 00:32:51: Nekyn Alb: Hi
  • 00:33:04: Qahnaarin1997: Shawn, the cutest rottweiler puppy came into my work today
  • 00:34:06: ShawnCognitionCP: Sounds interesting
  • 00:34:39: Qahnaarin1997: I have a soft spot for dogs.
  • 00:37:36: Qahnaarin1997: Shawn, what is the best rout for supporting factions in NV?
  • 00:37:50: ShawnCognitionCP: NCR with Brotherhood of Steel and the Boomers
  • 00:38:13: Qahnaarin1997: Brotherhood and NCR will ally?
  • 00:38:27: ShawnCognitionCP: Yes
  • 00:38:29: Qahnaarin1997: I also ways help the boomers
  • 00:38:33: Qahnaarin1997: How do I do that?
  • 00:38:39: ShawnCognitionCP: You can repair their relations
  • 00:38:44: ShawnCognitionCP: I forget exactly how
  • 00:38:45: ShawnCognitionCP: Google
  • 00:38:56: RenzXVI: Protect your soft spot! Cover it in peanut butter.
  • 00:38:58: Qahnaarin1997: Hardin
  • 00:39:03: Qahnaarin1997: Alright.
  • 00:39:06: ShawnCognitionCP: "If the player has completed Still in the Dark, stayed on good terms with the Brotherhood, and McNamara remains Elder, a truce can be signed between the Brotherhood and the NCR. Go to McNamara and tell him the NCR wants them destroyed, he will offer a truce."
  • 00:41:48: Qahnaarin1997: Alright. Thank you.
  • 00:53:16: Qahnaarin1997: Shawn, what if you get the Enclave remnants support too?
  • 00:54:53: ShawnCognitionCP: There's like six of them. I don't think they go to the war.
  • 00:55:17: Qahnaarin1997: They do
  • 00:55:22: Qahnaarin1997: They can, at least
  • 00:55:29: Qahnaarin1997: Take high speech.
  • 00:55:34: Qahnaarin1997: Takes*
  • 00:57:22: The Crusader of Truth: Going to bed. Goodnight
  • 01:05:48: Jr seriel: The Steelers need to get rid of big Ben
  • 01:06:05: ShawnCognitionCP: >top three quarterback
  • 01:06:12: ShawnCognitionCP: >most accurate
  • 01:06:15: ShawnCognitionCP: His only issue is stalling.
  • 01:06:24: ShawnCognitionCP: He leaves himself open for being sacked way too much.
  • 01:06:40: ShawnCognitionCP: Which /could/ be ammended if the Steelers wanted to play fucking defensively for once
  • 01:06:40: Jr seriel: Well that and he's leading the league in interceptions currently
  • 01:08:18: ShawnCognitionCP: Pre-playoffs
  • 01:08:21: ShawnCognitionCP: Doesn't really matter
  • 01:09:44: Jr seriel: Meh I think it matters. It's time to look through the possible draft for a new one. Landry Jones isn't my favorite. And their third string dude is pretty good but not first team quality.
  • 01:09:53: Jr seriel: And my god they need to improve their run defense
  • 01:10:38: Jr seriel: Also leveon is going no where today put my boy James Connor in there
  • 01:11:08: ShawnCognitionCP: Bell is the best in the league of his position, lol.
  • 01:11:29: Jr seriel: Oh yeah for sure he is the best in league but he only got 26 yards today
  • 01:11:37: ShawnCognitionCP: Again
  • 01:11:39: ShawnCognitionCP: Pre-playoffs
  • 01:11:42: Jr seriel: So far. And it's really early so that isn't saying much
  • 01:11:45: ShawnCognitionCP: This is essentially just a warmup.
  • 01:11:55: ShawnCognitionCP: This timeframe is to highlight issues to prepare for the genuine season.
  • 01:12:14: ShawnCognitionCP: Hopefully our frog-human crossbreed of a coach will light a fire under some asses.
  • 01:12:19: Jr seriel: Yeah it's fortunate that their conference is garbage this year
  • 01:12:40: ShawnCognitionCP: Mike Tomlin genuinely looks like a genetic experiment between human and toad.
  • 01:12:45: Jr seriel: Plus flacco was seeing sovngard on Thursday after that late hit
  • 01:12:54: Jr seriel: Lolololol
  • 01:12:55: Jr seriel: What
  • 01:12:57: ShawnCognitionCP: Fuck Joe Flacco
  • 01:13:11: Jr seriel: ^
  • 01:13:31: ShawnCognitionCP: All Pittsburgh teams have the same issue.
  • 01:13:36: ShawnCognitionCP: Penguins and Steelers alike.
  • 01:13:40: ShawnCognitionCP: They're full offense.
  • 01:13:47: ShawnCognitionCP: Defense is some unheard of term to them.
  • 01:14:34: ShawnCognitionCP: Steelers have the most Super Bowl wins and Penguins just pulled two Stanley Cups in two years on their coach's first two years, so it works often.
  • 01:14:39: ShawnCognitionCP: But when it doesn't, it just falls apart.
  • 01:14:41: Jr seriel: I disagree. The Steelers are pretty well known for their defense through history. But they do have a young defense right now which they gotta figure out. I constantly find myself yelling out bring back dick lebeau
  • 01:14:48: ShawnCognitionCP: See Steelers vs Greenbay superbowl
  • 01:14:58: Jr seriel: I agree it works often though
  • 01:15:23: ShawnCognitionCP: Only team I see being a huge issue is the Patriots.
  • 01:15:31: ShawnCognitionCP: But that's a steady thing, Patriots are easily #2 in the league.
  • 01:15:40: ShawnCognitionCP: Seahawks either do horrible or ungodly well.
  • 01:15:44: Jr seriel: The Patriots have absolutely no defense but score like crazy
  • 01:15:44: ShawnCognitionCP: Ravens can suck my dick.
  • 01:15:57: ShawnCognitionCP: Because Brady is living fucking aimbot
  • 01:16:09: Jr seriel: Yes he is but a cheater nonetheless
  • 01:16:11: ShawnCognitionCP: Guy could hit an airplane in another city mid-takeoff.
  • 01:16:52: Jr seriel: Ughhh that defense giving up big pass yards!
  • 01:17:52: ShawnCognitionCP: I will never tire of Steelers vs Ravens games
  • 01:18:20: ShawnCognitionCP: I just like seeing Terrell Suggs get frustrated.
  • 01:18:25: ShawnCognitionCP: Looks like King Kong
  • 01:19:53: Jr seriel: Hey at least we held em to a field goal
  • 01:20:15: ShawnCognitionCP: Hey, Kora
  • 01:20:37: Kora Stormblade: hey shawn
  • 01:20:40: Kora Stormblade: o.
  • 01:20:58: ShawnCognitionCP: Biggest bitch in the league
  • 01:20:58: ShawnCognitionCP: Blount
  • 01:21:07: Jr seriel: Lagaret Blount?
  • 01:21:20: ShawnCognitionCP: Yes.
  • 01:21:43: ShawnCognitionCP: Autistic-raged, left the field, took his gear off, sat on the team bus while the game went on
  • 01:21:47: ShawnCognitionCP: And now he plays for the Eagles
  • 01:22:01: Jr seriel: Yes he does. The eagles honestly look pretty dangerous
  • 01:22:10: Jr seriel: I am more worried about them than the pats
  • 01:22:30: Jr seriel: Except they are NFC
  • 01:23:08: ShawnCognitionCP: Only way we'll go against them is if we both make it to the Super Bowl.
  • 01:23:29: Jr seriel: Hence why I mentioned they are in NFC
  • 01:24:03: ShawnCognitionCP: Addressing a statement to add details not listed previously exists.
  • 01:24:08: Jr seriel: But yeah the pats did take us out last year after leveon bell broke on the first drive
  • 01:24:46: ShawnCognitionCP: Football seems to be perpetually more pussified as time goes past.
  • 01:24:48: Kora Stormblade: sorry internet basically died lmao
  • 01:24:57: ShawnCognitionCP: The entire "kneel for the anthem ;(" thing seals it for me.
  • 01:25:05: ShawnCognitionCP: I'm here to watch them throw a fucking ball
  • 01:25:14: ShawnCognitionCP: Why do I care if they stand or kneel, or refuse to do either?
  • 01:25:30: ShawnCognitionCP: It's a sport, not a national service.
  • 01:25:58: Jr seriel: Well there is a level of professional conduct that they are supposed to follow. And they are not
  • 01:26:12: ShawnCognitionCP: Kneeling is a form of respect as well.
  • 01:26:15: Jr seriel: But they are still employees
  • 01:26:16: ShawnCognitionCP: Standing is for the serving troops.
  • 01:26:21: ShawnCognitionCP: Kneeling is for the deceased troops.
  • 01:26:30: Jr seriel: Yes I am talking about sitting
  • 01:27:18: ShawnCognitionCP: As far as I see it, there's no legal obligation, nor is it within their contracts.
  • 01:27:29: ShawnCognitionCP: I think people should stop being so sensitive about a sport.
  • 01:27:38: Jr seriel: No but it is unprofessional
  • 01:28:01: ShawnCognitionCP: Again, we're here to watch them tackle each other and throw a ball, I don't see a reason to care whatsoever about what kind of person they are when the clock isn't running.
  • 01:28:02: Jr seriel: And they may start including a code of conduct in their contracts that are specific to national anthem conduct
  • 01:28:14: ShawnCognitionCP: "Boycott NFL because Elliot beat his girlfriend"
  • 01:28:20: ShawnCognitionCP: Didn't beat his girlfriend on stage
  • 01:28:24: Jr seriel: When they hit the field and wearing their colors. They are on the clock
  • 01:28:38: ShawnCognitionCP: Not going to boycott a sport over drama
  • 01:28:56: Jr seriel: No me neither but it is dissapointing nonetheless
  • 01:28:59: ShawnCognitionCP: When I said "clock isn't running", I meant playtime.
  • 01:29:10: ShawnCognitionCP: When the players are actively in a play.
  • 01:29:19: Jr seriel: Got it
  • 01:29:20: Nekyn Alb: I wouldn't want dicks to get money tho
  • 01:29:28: ShawnCognitionCP: I'm here to watch a sport
  • 01:29:33: ShawnCognitionCP: They play the sport well
  • 01:29:39: ShawnCognitionCP: I will therefor give them money to view the sport
  • 01:30:17: ShawnCognitionCP: We are talking about a cast of millionaires as well, nekyn.
  • 01:30:24: Nekyn Alb: I know
  • 01:30:28: ShawnCognitionCP: Too late for "don't want them to get money", they already have enough for life.
  • 01:30:37: Nekyn Alb: Sport people are stupidly rich
  • 01:30:43: ShawnCognitionCP: Yes
  • 01:30:45: Jr seriel: After the 2007 crisis most trading firms prohibited traders from going to strip clubs as they viewed it as unprofessional and unworthy of their business. The penalty is termination. I think something similar should be done for sitting during the national anthem for players.
  • 01:31:24: Nekyn Alb: They are still able to completely crash and end up without enough money because they constantly bash their heads in
  • 01:31:55: ShawnCognitionCP: I disagree on the grounds that even in the proper treatment of the flag and anthem conduct, it never once states it's an obligation akin to maintaining the flag or removing desecrated flags.
  • 01:32:08: ShawnCognitionCP: We do not live in a nation where respect can be demanded.
  • 01:32:19: ShawnCognitionCP: Ever. There is no obligation to respect nor disrespect anything.
  • 01:32:31: Nekyn Alb: Yeah, as someone who's not from America, that flag rage seems retarded
  • 01:32:51: ShawnCognitionCP: I couldn't give half a fuck about a piece of fabric.
  • 01:32:51: Jr seriel: Nekyn, I think that may actually be the demise of football eventually. Chronic traumatic encephalopathy is serious and eventually many parents won't allow their kids to play. And they will isntead play soccer
  • 01:33:15: ShawnCognitionCP: Soccer is the worst sport
  • 01:33:16: Nekyn Alb: Same as people raging over football players from different nations who don't sing the national anthem of the team that bought them
  • 01:33:16: ShawnCognitionCP: reeeee
  • 01:33:42: Nekyn Alb: Watch golf people
  • 01:33:47: ShawnCognitionCP: Football>Hockey>Golf>Baseball>Basketball>Soccer
  • 01:33:52: Nekyn Alb: Does Trump record his golf sessions?
  • 01:33:53: ShawnCognitionCP: Golf in terms of playing
  • 01:33:55: ShawnCognitionCP: Not watching.
  • 01:34:07: ShawnCognitionCP: Watching golf is the lowest tier of entertainment.
  • 01:34:07: Jr seriel: I love soccer. In college I would wake up at 7 am and go to this polish bar and watch soccer with a bunch of Russians basically every Saturday it was pretty cool
  • 01:34:11: Nekyn Alb: what about cricket
  • 01:34:18: ShawnCognitionCP: Cricket is just autistic tennis
  • 01:34:22: ShawnCognitionCP: golf
  • 01:34:24: ShawnCognitionCP: Not tennis
  • 01:34:24: ShawnCognitionCP: lmfao
  • 01:34:31: Nekyn Alb: ping pong
  • 01:34:37: Nekyn Alb: Kameramann o/
  • 01:34:41: ShawnCognitionCP: Ping pong is tennis but with beer
  • 01:34:48: ShawnCognitionCP: Before you respond
  • 01:34:52: Jr seriel: That's beer pong
  • 01:34:56: Kora Stormblade: nekaragua \o
  • 01:34:58: ShawnCognitionCP: It is impossible to unironically play ping pong without alcohol
  • 01:35:07: Jr seriel: Lol
  • 01:35:13: RenzXVI: It's not even respect when people do it out of fear of punishment.
  • 01:35:16: ShawnCognitionCP: If you can play ping pong sober and keep a straight face, your ego is either too small or too large.
  • 01:35:18: Nekyn Alb: Not if you're 12 and have nothing to do in school
  • 01:36:06: Kora Stormblade: or you just like playing ping pong sober
  • 01:36:09: Kora Stormblade: /:
  • 01:36:17: Nekyn Alb: It's a fun game
  • 01:36:24: ShawnCognitionCP: "or you like playing tennis without any of the commitment or enjoyment of tennis"
  • 01:36:31: Nekyn Alb: Not as complicated as anything
  • 01:36:43: ShawnCognitionCP: Only god-tier jr sport is
  • 01:36:44: Kora Stormblade: beer literally tastes like fizzy bitter water
  • 01:36:45: ShawnCognitionCP: Mini-golf
  • 01:36:52: ShawnCognitionCP: Different beers taste different reeee
  • 01:36:53: Nekyn Alb: I hate all kinds of golf
  • 01:36:54: Jr seriel: Kora take that back !
  • 01:36:56: ShawnCognitionCP: Flavored beers exist
  • 01:36:58: Kora Stormblade: I dont understand why ping pong needs beer or alcohol to be fun
  • 01:36:59: ShawnCognitionCP: If you're gay
  • 01:37:17: ShawnCognitionCP: It was initially a joke about it being a party game, Kora.
  • 01:37:26: ShawnCognitionCP: And then became dissing the "sport"
  • 01:37:31: Kora Stormblade: (y)
  • 01:37:38: ShawnCognitionCP: Also
  • 01:37:41: Nekyn Alb: Chess
  • 01:37:42: ShawnCognitionCP: "beer or alcohol"
  • 01:38:08: Kora Stormblade: Beer to me doesnt equal other alcohol such as vodka or wiskey tbh
  • 01:38:10: Kora Stormblade: *whiskey
  • 01:38:14: Nekyn Alb: That's because american beer is shit (kappa)
  • 01:38:19: Kora Stormblade: it is tbh
  • 01:38:25: ShawnCognitionCP: Busch is the best beer
  • 01:38:29: ShawnCognitionCP: Objectively
  • 01:38:37: Jr seriel: Objectively?
  • 01:38:45: Nekyn Alb: Busch is the thing in your pants
  • 01:38:48: ShawnCognitionCP: Best flavored beer is Strongbow
  • 01:38:50: Kora Stormblade: (kappa)
  • 01:39:00: ShawnCognitionCP: Busch is beer that actually tastes great
  • 01:39:01: RenzXVI: Kora Strongbow.
  • 01:39:06: Nekyn Alb: See, German name, of course that's better
  • 01:39:14: Jr seriel: I would think you would like yuengling Shawn
  • 01:40:09: RenzXVI: I haven't tasted a lot of beer because I generally like beer the least, but of the few mainstream ones I tried, I like Heineken.
  • 01:40:10: ShawnCognitionCP: I've always preferred higher intensity drinks, but I still like certain beer brands. Never tried anything Yuengling made, iirc
  • 01:40:13: Jr seriel: If I am gonna have a real libation it's gonna be scotch
  • 01:40:20: Nekyn Alb: That's Jüngling, you english speaking cretins
  • 01:40:21: Qahnaarin1997: Shawn, what of Guinness and Blue Moon?
  • 01:40:27: ShawnCognitionCP: Blue Moon is piss
  • 01:40:34: Jr seriel: ^
  • 01:40:35: ShawnCognitionCP: Guinness is alright
  • 01:40:51: ShawnCognitionCP: Blue Moon is literally portable golden shower mass-produced
  • 01:40:52: Qahnaarin1997: I thought it was a higher quallity beer?
  • 01:41:04: Jr seriel: Nah you are thinking of Stella or Heineken
  • 01:41:08: ShawnCognitionCP: I just don't like it.
  • 01:41:17: Nekyn Alb: "objectively"
  • 01:41:19: ShawnCognitionCP: I actually enjoy the taste of alcohol, so I don't like beers that completely mask it.
  • 01:41:43: ShawnCognitionCP: Worst beer
  • 01:41:45: ShawnCognitionCP: Objectively
  • 01:41:50: ShawnCognitionCP: Is Bud Light Lime
  • 01:42:18: ShawnCognitionCP: It will make you want to die
  • 01:42:31: Nekyn Alb: Can't get worse than this
  • 01:42:47: ShawnCognitionCP: Try it and be amazed
  • 01:43:09: Jr seriel: It's not that bad. It's beer so drink enough of it and it tastes pretty decent.
  • 01:43:28: ShawnCognitionCP: Only ever tried one gulp
  • 01:43:36: Jr seriel: I am in no way saying it's good. But it's beer so
  • 01:43:37: ShawnCognitionCP: Immediately spat it out and threw the can away
  • 01:43:55: ShawnCognitionCP: It is the sum of all illness on Earth
  • 01:44:13: Nekyn Alb: it has herpes?
  • 01:44:19: Jr seriel: It might actually
  • 01:44:21: ShawnCognitionCP: It is herpes
  • 01:44:34: Kora Stormblade: it will make you want herpes instead rather than drink more of it
  • 01:45:01: Nekyn Alb: Why did y'all drink something that's called "Bud Light Lime"
  • 01:45:11: Kora Stormblade: honestly I never understood why my dad and his friends drink that
  • 01:45:13: ShawnCognitionCP: Because it was alcoholic
  • 01:45:15: Kora Stormblade: it tastes like actual ass
  • 01:45:32: Qahnaarin1997: Drink what?
  • 01:45:37: ShawnCognitionCP: Bud Light Lime
  • 01:45:37: Nekyn Alb: I'll trust your educated opinion
  • 01:45:41: Qahnaarin1997: Sorry, I'm a bit busy
  • 01:45:48: Nekyn Alb: *busty
  • 01:45:48: Jr seriel: Fallout?
  • 01:45:57: Qahnaarin1997: I haven't heard anything good about that beer
  • 01:46:00: Qahnaarin1997: And yes, NV.
  • 01:46:24: Qahnaarin1997: Just got back from vault 22
  • 01:46:26: Jr seriel: Omg did leveon really just funble that
  • 01:48:40: ShawnCognitionCP: Qahn, ever try Gorelord?
  • 01:49:09: Jr seriel: You and your metal bands
  • 01:49:24: Jr seriel: You and your metal bands
  • 01:49:47: ShawnCognitionCP: Stacy's Mom is apparently related to Gorelord as per Youtube's recommendations system.
  • 01:50:02: Jr seriel: Interesting
  • 01:50:20: ShawnCognitionCP: Zack Miller dislocated his knee
  • 01:50:27: ShawnCognitionCP: Bears lost their only half decent player
  • 01:50:29: ShawnCognitionCP: Get fucked
  • 01:50:39: Nekyn Alb: did the arrow point in the wrong direction
  • 01:50:46: ShawnCognitionCP: Old meme
  • 01:51:04: Qahnaarin1997: I haven't.

  • 01:54:37: ShawnCognitionCP: Not a huge fan, but Knights of Cydonia is great.
  • 01:55:14: Jr seriel: They have some cool older songs. Hysteria is always my favorite. Space dementia is cool too.
  • 01:56:00: ShawnCognitionCP: Ever heard Magna Carta Cartel?
  • 01:56:07: Jr seriel: Don't think so

  • 01:56:15: RenzXVI: Muse? Wasn't that the one who did Super Massive Blackhole which was on the Twilight soundtrack? I remember because my ex brought me to the movies with her friends.
  • 01:56:25: ShawnCognitionCP: Similar in the fact it's very experimental rock.
  • 01:56:28: ShawnCognitionCP: Yes, Renz.
  • 01:56:35: RenzXVI: Oh, lol.
  • 01:56:37: ShawnCognitionCP: Also, that sounds horrible.
  • 01:56:38: Nekyn Alb: "Super Massive Blackhole"
  • 01:56:44: Jr seriel: Alittle to psychedlic for my taste
  • 01:57:21: Jr seriel: Shawn, that song is a tad too psychedlic and floaty for my taste
  • 01:57:36: RenzXVI: What does floaty mean?
  • 01:57:43: Nekyn Alb: I thought we all float down here
  • 01:57:53: ShawnCognitionCP: That freely-organized atmosphere found in psychedelic rock.
  • 01:58:21: Jr seriel: Like, direction less and airy sounding, just imagine bobbing around in a calm ocean.

  • 01:59:00: ShawnCognitionCP: Because of the "Don't talk to me or my girlfriend's girlfriend ever again" comment
  • 01:59:16: Jr seriel: Floaty to me means like airy, and direction less, I always imagine stairing at the sky and feeling like I am floating in an ocean alone
  • 01:59:52: RenzXVI: You mean surreal?
  • 02:00:15: RenzXVI: But yeah, that does come with psychedelic.
  • 02:00:16: Jr seriel: Not exactly. More direction less
  • 02:00:44: RenzXVI: Stop repeating direction less. I now have to correct it to directionless.
  • 02:01:19: Jr seriel: Direction less cause I am typing on my phone and it keeps separating the two words
  • 02:03:20: RenzXVI: Anyway, the "direction less" thing isn't a problem for me with their music, but the vocals is...
  • 02:03:28: RenzXVI: Specially with Ghost.
  • 02:03:48: ShawnCognitionCP: Except the fact Ghost won best Rock/Metal act
  • 02:03:57: ShawnCognitionCP: So, it doesn't seem to be that much of an issue.
  • 02:04:50: RenzXVI: It is for me.
  • 02:05:02: Nekyn Alb: No Rensz
  • 02:05:05: Nekyn Alb: It won something
  • 02:05:09: Nekyn Alb: You are wrong
  • 02:05:41: RenzXVI: I identify as wrong.
  • 02:05:42: ShawnCognitionCP: Grammy>Yoummy
  • 02:06:04: Jr seriel: Lol wrong is a nice pronoun
  • 02:06:57: Jr seriel: So quick question
  • 02:06:59: ShawnCognitionCP: I identify as /nil/, all pronouns are to be replaced with a space without text, or in dialogue, a brief moment of silence
  • 02:07:14: Jr seriel: Is there any evidence that shows which kalpa the elder scrolls takes place in
  • 02:07:23: ShawnCognitionCP: They aren't exactly numbered.
  • 02:07:30: ShawnCognitionCP: There's no statement as to how many kalpas there have been.
  • 02:07:34: ShawnCognitionCP: It's likely just an infinite cycle.
  • 02:07:35: Jr seriel: Like a null moment ?
  • 02:07:36: Nekyn Alb: We only know of a few
  • 02:07:47: Nekyn Alb: maybe only two
  • 02:08:07: ShawnCognitionCP: The kalpa the Hist trees and Anu, the current godhead come from
  • 02:08:16: ShawnCognitionCP: Anu could have been much older than one kalpa ago, though.
  • 02:08:19: Jr seriel: Do we ?
  • 02:08:21: ShawnCognitionCP: Hist trees were 100% the last one.
  • 02:08:22: ShawnCognitionCP: Yes.
  • 02:08:23: Nekyn Alb: I doubt that Anu comes from a Kalpa
  • 02:08:29: ShawnCognitionCP: He does
  • 02:08:29: Nekyn Alb: He comes from another Amaranth
  • 02:08:33: ShawnCognitionCP: Amaranth
  • 02:08:38: ShawnCognitionCP: is becoming the godhead
  • 02:08:45: ShawnCognitionCP: CHIM is the first step in that
  • 02:08:50: Nekyn Alb: Anu is the godhead
  • 02:08:53: ShawnCognitionCP: The Walking Way details this
  • 02:08:53: ShawnCognitionCP: Yes
  • 02:08:59: ShawnCognitionCP: Because he achieved Amaranth
  • 02:09:00: Nekyn Alb: Kalpas are inside of the Amaranth
  • 02:09:01: ShawnCognitionCP: And became the dreamer
  • 02:09:03: ShawnCognitionCP: Yes
  • 02:09:04: ShawnCognitionCP: Aware
  • 02:09:15: ShawnCognitionCP: When you achieve Amaranth you awake the previous dreamer and begin dreaming
  • 02:09:21: ShawnCognitionCP: It's akin to mantling.
  • 02:09:27: Nekyn Alb: or you don't awake him
  • 02:09:31: Jr seriel: So who is the dreamer?
  • 02:09:35: ShawnCognitionCP: Currently, Anu.
  • 02:09:37: Nekyn Alb: I forgot if you showed me any evidence to that
  • 02:09:49: Nekyn Alb: and in the future, Jubavhk
  • 02:09:50: ShawnCognitionCP: We had a large discussion on this previously, we both exchanged sources
  • 02:09:54: Nekyn Alb: *Jubavehk
  • 02:09:55: Jr seriel: And who is the next dreamer?
  • 02:09:57: ShawnCognitionCP: it was a very long time ago
  • 02:10:03: Nekyn Alb: I do remember
  • 02:10:12: Jr seriel: Who is capable of dreaming ?
  • 02:10:14: ShawnCognitionCP: Jubal + Vivec is implied, but never directly stated
  • 02:10:28: Nekyn Alb: I wasn't convinced because we basically have no evidence of Amaranths after a new one starts
  • 02:10:31: Nekyn Alb: What?
  • 02:10:33: ShawnCognitionCP: We do know they have control over the dream due to CHIM, but I don't recall them ever becoming a dreamer
  • 02:10:43: Nekyn Alb: They get the Flower Baby, which is the Amaranth, MK said that
  • 02:10:55: Nekyn Alb: lemme get the quote
  • 02:11:10: Jr seriel: Wait so it's anu and padame who are the people dreaming ?
  • 02:11:21: Jr seriel: And it's anu's dream in this kalpa
  • 02:11:25: ShawnCognitionCP: Anu is the dreamer
  • 02:11:30: ShawnCognitionCP: Padomay is the dream
  • 02:11:33: Jr seriel: Oh
  • 02:11:39: ShawnCognitionCP: Neither is capable of direct choice or thought
  • 02:11:50: ShawnCognitionCP: The Aka-shards and shards of Padomay are their answer to this
  • 02:11:52: Jr seriel: So who else is similar to any
  • 02:11:56: Jr seriel: Anu
  • 02:11:59: ShawnCognitionCP: Sithis is a sentient shard of Padomay
  • 02:12:05: ShawnCognitionCP: All Aka-Shards are sentient pieces of Anu
  • 02:12:19: ShawnCognitionCP: Akatosh is the most famous Aka-shard
  • 02:12:36: ShawnCognitionCP: Sheogorath was born from the "Sithis shaped hole in the universe"
  • 02:12:51: Jr seriel: So sithis and akatosh are on the same level? I thought they weren't
  • 02:12:54: ShawnCognitionCP: Essentially, he's the concept of a dream's randomness and mental illness which distorts it.
  • 02:12:57: ShawnCognitionCP: No.
  • 02:13:01: ShawnCognitionCP: Sithis is a direct shard of Padomay
  • 02:13:05: Jr seriel: Oh got it
  • 02:13:07: ShawnCognitionCP: Akatosh is a shard of a shard of a shard et cetera
  • 02:13:25: Jr seriel: So aethierius is another direct shard
  • 02:13:52: Jr seriel: Or magnus ?
  • 02:14:11: ShawnCognitionCP: Aethierius is just the realm where the Aedra hold domain akin to Daedra's domains in Oblivion
  • 02:14:13: KINMUNE: Hello there, Jets99!
  • 02:14:37: ShawnCognitionCP: Magnus was an et'Ada.
  • 02:15:09: ShawnCognitionCP: The Aedra and Daedra also came from the et'Ada when they met their criteria (either spending large portions of their power for Nirn or not)
  • 02:15:21: Jr seriel: Kalpas are weird
  • 02:15:35: ShawnCognitionCP: This happened in this kalpa.
  • 02:15:38: ShawnCognitionCP: All of this did.
  • 02:15:52: Jr seriel: I mean just the idea of them is weird
  • 02:15:57: ShawnCognitionCP: Kalpas are pretty much the same events happening over and over, with select changes differentiating within them.
  • 02:16:12: ShawnCognitionCP: Events such as Vivec and Tiber achieving CHIM are very likely unique to this Kalpa, along with everything that came from it.
  • 02:16:19: ShawnCognitionCP: Mehrunes Dagon is unique to this kalpa.
  • 02:16:36: ShawnCognitionCP: Alduin created him for attempting to stop the destruction of portions of the previous kalpa by hiding them away.
  • 02:16:48: Jr seriel: Why don't people worship vivec then do talos
  • 02:16:55: ShawnCognitionCP: So, he turned the Leaper Demon King into Mehrunes Dagon, so he'd destroy instead of hide things.
  • 02:16:58: ShawnCognitionCP: Uh
  • 02:16:59: ShawnCognitionCP: They do
  • 02:17:03: ShawnCognitionCP: Much moreso, in fact
  • 02:17:20: ShawnCognitionCP: Vivec is the reason Tiber Septim even got his position.
  • 02:17:25: ShawnCognitionCP: He gave him the Numidium.
  • 02:17:34: ShawnCognitionCP: Vivec is also the head of the Tribunal.
  • 02:17:35: Jr seriel: We don't see evidence of that in Skyrim or legends
  • 02:17:39: ShawnCognitionCP: All of Morrowind worships them.
  • 02:17:40: Kora Stormblade: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KdDoVjjqYbI&ab_channel=PavelParusov
  • 02:17:43: KINMUNE: DUCK BOMB reversed
  • 02:17:53: ShawnCognitionCP: Vivec is missing during Skyrim.
  • 02:18:02: ShawnCognitionCP: He vanished after the Red Mountain erupted.
  • 02:18:02: Jr seriel: They worshipped the tribunal but that ended. Yes but why don't they worship him anyway
  • 02:18:09: Nekyn Alb: The quote is pretty hard to find or I'm searching for the wrong things
  • 02:18:19: Jr seriel: You know talos is gone too but they worship him
  • 02:18:28: ShawnCognitionCP: Talos comes down in avatars.
  • 02:18:32: ShawnCognitionCP: You speak to him in Morrowind.
  • 02:18:34: ShawnCognitionCP: Directly.
  • 02:18:57: ShawnCognitionCP: Vivec is 100% missing, no trace, and his city was destroyed by the meteor his magic suspended above it.
  • 02:19:08: Jr seriel: I thought he is shor and then talos mantled him and then the dragonborn mantles shor in the latest contribution
  • 02:19:22: ShawnCognitionCP: You don't see Vivec worship in Skyrim because Nords have no religious connection to Vivec.
  • 02:19:32: ShawnCognitionCP: The cult of personality surrounding him is found only in the province of Morrowind.
  • 02:19:44: Jr seriel: Fair enough
  • 02:20:02: ShawnCognitionCP: Hjalti (Tiber 1) + Zurin Arctus (Tiber 2) + Wulfharth = Talos
  • 02:20:16: Jr seriel: You would think though with the eruption of red mountain though that all the dunmer would take their faith back to Skyrim and solstheim and you would see evidence of this but you don't
  • 02:20:21: ShawnCognitionCP: Talos is the oversoal of both Tibers and Wulfharth. He's not any of them, he's a combination of their very being.
  • 02:20:28: ShawnCognitionCP: Talos mantled Lorkhan/Shor, yes.
  • 02:20:48: ShawnCognitionCP: "Tiber Septim" was genuinely multiple figures, not one.
  • 02:20:52: ShawnCognitionCP: He wasn't a person.
  • 02:20:55: ShawnCognitionCP: He was an idea.
  • 02:20:56: Jr seriel: But then you mantle shor in Skyrim. Also why shor is absent in sovngrad when you go there
  • 02:21:07: Jr seriel: But Tiber was a person
  • 02:21:14: ShawnCognitionCP: http://en.uesp.net/wiki/Morrowind:The_Arcturian_Heresy
  • 02:21:15: ShawnCognitionCP: No
  • 02:21:16: Jr seriel: And there is a seat for shor in sovngard
  • 02:21:22: ShawnCognitionCP: Yes
  • 02:21:23: ShawnCognitionCP: Talos
  • 02:21:25: ShawnCognitionCP: Not Tiber
  • 02:21:32: ShawnCognitionCP: Read the link I just posted
  • 02:21:38: ShawnCognitionCP: It's Zurin coming to become the second Tiber
  • 02:21:54: ShawnCognitionCP: Tiber Septim was multiple different people using the same name.
  • 02:22:14: ShawnCognitionCP: Tiber Septim is succeeded by his grandson, Pelagius I. Pelagius is just not of the same caliber. In truth, he's a little nervous with all these provinces. Then an advisor shows up. "I was friends with your grandfather," the Underking says, "He sent me to help you run the Empire."
  • 02:22:27: ShawnCognitionCP: He then takes the name Tiber, hence his death being recognized far later than this event.
  • 02:22:59: ShawnCognitionCP: "Meanwhile, Tiber Septim crowns himself the First Emperor of Tamriel. He lives until he is 108, the richest man in history. All aspects of his early reign are rewritten. Still, there are conflicting reports of what really happened, and this is why there is such confusion over such questions as: Why does Alcaire claim to be the birthplace of Talos, while other sources say he came from Atmora? Why does Tiber Septim seem to be a different person after his first roaring conquests? Why does Tiber Septim betray his battlemage? Is the Mantella the heart of the battlemage or is it the heart of Tiber Septim?"
  • 02:23:21: ShawnCognitionCP: This paragraph goes into the historical issues that arrive from this fact.
  • 02:23:36: ShawnCognitionCP: The confusion stems because at different points, both Hjalti and Zurin were "Tiber".
  • 02:23:40: Nekyn Alb: https://www.reddit.com/r/teslore/comments/20vuww/akavir_says_to_the_otherkin_get_out/cg7a3n7/ I don't think this is it, it's in the comments of Otherkin
  • 02:23:49: Nekyn Alb: it's something tho
  • 02:23:50: ShawnCognitionCP: The original Tiber Septim, first emperor, was Hjalti.
  • 02:23:56: ShawnCognitionCP: That's his true name.
  • 02:24:03: ShawnCognitionCP: The real Wulfharth is Ysmir.
  • 02:24:24: ShawnCognitionCP: The original Underking is Ysmir, the one during the events of Daggerfall is Zurin.
  • 02:24:31: ShawnCognitionCP: Zurin was Tiber #2
  • 02:24:35: ShawnCognitionCP: And also Hjalti's battlemage
  • 02:24:40: ShawnCognitionCP: TES lore is a clusterfuck
  • 02:28:41: The Crusader of Truth: Couldn't sleep o/
  • 02:29:48: ShawnCognitionCP: Hello.
  • 02:30:19: Nekyn Alb: https://www.reddit.com/r/teslore/comments/21fqmi/a_model_of_the_godhead_and_its_contents_part_ii/cge0r43/
  • 02:31:02: ShawnCognitionCP: All comments explaining what he meant are removed.
  • 02:31:50: Kora Stormblade: o.
  • 02:31:52: ShawnCognitionCP: We know the meaning of the continents.
  • 02:31:52: Jr seriel: Why does it seem like the underking is like an Ash storm most of the time
  • 02:31:59: Jr seriel: Is that why the arrows couldn't penatrate
  • 02:32:22: ShawnCognitionCP: Yokuda is the past, Aldmeris is the future
  • 02:32:28: ShawnCognitionCP: Or, was.
  • 02:32:46: ShawnCognitionCP: If not literally, they are at least related to these concepts.
  • 02:32:52: Nekyn Alb: Continents are unimportant, it's about the credibility of Akavir being the next Amaranth
  • 02:33:03: ShawnCognitionCP: The Underking is just TES' words for a lich.
  • 02:33:07: Nekyn Alb: Tosh Raka being an anagram of Akatosh is also somewhat helping
  • 02:33:12: ShawnCognitionCP: You mean someone from Akavir
  • 02:33:18: Nekyn Alb: Aldmeris ain't the future
  • 02:33:18: ShawnCognitionCP: Not the non-sentient landmass itself
  • 02:33:28: Jr seriel: Wait the underking is a lich?
  • 02:33:31: ShawnCognitionCP: Yes
  • 02:33:41: ShawnCognitionCP: His soul is bound to the Mantella and he can not die until it is destroyed.
  • 02:33:45: Jr seriel: Why would hjalti want to be allies with a lich
  • 02:33:46: ShawnCognitionCP: That is the very definition of a lich.
  • 02:33:55: Nekyn Alb: Tosh Raka, yeah. Akavir is the equivalent to Tamriel in that Amaranth
  • 02:33:58: ShawnCognitionCP: He became a lich because Hjalti was a treasonous cunt.
  • 02:34:15: Jr seriel: So when did he lose his body then
  • 02:34:17: ShawnCognitionCP: Please do not believe Tiber Septim in /either/ identity is a hero.
  • 02:34:38: Nekyn Alb: Aldmeris is a metaphor for the unification of the elves and/or in hyperfast time, Akavir is the future
  • 02:34:47: ShawnCognitionCP: When Hjalti genocided with the Numidium and he tried to stop him (either out of heroism or the mantella's importance to him)
  • 02:35:09: Jr seriel: Wait what
  • 02:35:18: ShawnCognitionCP: Aldmeris includes aspects of the future as in later years, not a later kalpa
  • 02:35:26: Jr seriel: But it said that he turned to Ash after the battle of red mountain
  • 02:35:30: ShawnCognitionCP: "Hyperfast time" explains it well enough
  • 02:35:33: ShawnCognitionCP: Different Underking
  • 02:35:40: ShawnCognitionCP: Zurin Underking is not Wulfharth Underking
  • 02:35:42: Jr seriel: And he flowed his way to the greybeards
  • 02:35:47: ShawnCognitionCP: That was Wulfharth
  • 02:35:48: ShawnCognitionCP: Ysmir
  • 02:35:58: Jr seriel: Ugh so many underki !
  • 02:36:19: Jr seriel: So when did wulfharth lose his body
  • 02:36:25: ShawnCognitionCP: Multiple times
  • 02:36:29: ShawnCognitionCP: Again
  • 02:36:30: ShawnCognitionCP: Lich
  • 02:36:32: Nekyn Alb: 2/3 Underkings
  • 02:36:37: The Crusader of Truth: It's about as complex as the meme economy
  • 02:36:46: ShawnCognitionCP: Zurin is the Underking in Daggerfall
  • 02:36:48: Jr seriel: Crus I thought you went to bed
  • 02:36:52: ShawnCognitionCP: Ysmir is the Underking that became the second Tiber
  • 02:36:55: Jr seriel: The battlemage
  • 02:36:59: The Crusader of Truth: I tried to sleep but couldn't
  • 02:37:00: Nekyn Alb: and like meme economy, don't visit the subreddit. Always use truestl
  • 02:37:01: ShawnCognitionCP: Yes, Zurin was the Battlemage.
  • 02:37:07: ShawnCognitionCP: The Mantella was crafted with Zurin's soul
  • 02:37:11: Jr seriel: Who was the first Tiber
  • 02:37:14: ShawnCognitionCP: Hjalti
  • 02:37:17: The Crusader of Truth: I think I'm going to play Daggerfall
  • 02:37:18: ShawnCognitionCP: The first emperor
  • 02:37:32: Nekyn Alb: of the third reich
  • 02:37:34: Jr seriel: Ugh
  • 02:37:40: ShawnCognitionCP: Of the Septim empire
  • 02:37:46: ShawnCognitionCP: Not even the fist emperor-turned-god
  • 02:37:49: ShawnCognitionCP: Reman 4lyfe
  • 02:38:03: Jr seriel: Ok let me get this straight
  • 02:38:09: Jr seriel: Zuring was
  • 02:38:17: ShawnCognitionCP: I'll make it simple
  • 02:38:21: Jr seriel: Zurin was the under king
  • 02:38:28: Jr seriel: Hjalit was Tiber septim
  • 02:38:42: ShawnCognitionCP: Hjlati is what you know as Tiber, Zurin was his battle mage, Wulfharth was the guy Hjalti stole his identity from and took credit for his accomplishments
  • 02:38:50: Nekyn Alb: https://i.imgur.com/Sx0Gkfw.png dis is talos
  • 02:38:56: ShawnCognitionCP: Hjalti used Zurin's soul for the mantella, making him a lich, the Underking
  • 02:39:15: ShawnCognitionCP: Wulfharth achieved a state of repeated mortality/immortality and also took the name Underking
  • 02:39:16: Jr seriel: Ok who is the under king then
  • 02:39:18: ShawnCognitionCP: Hjalti died
  • 02:39:22: Jr seriel: Ok
  • 02:39:32: ShawnCognitionCP: Wulfharth (Ysmir) became Tiber in his place to help rule the empire
  • 02:39:44: ShawnCognitionCP: Zurin also took part in this scheme at some point
  • 02:40:04: Jr seriel: Ugh
  • 02:40:05: ShawnCognitionCP: The events of Daggerfall are caused because Zurin wants the Mantella, his soul, so he can finally die
  • 02:40:13: Jr seriel: Ok I got that
  • 02:40:26: Nekyn Alb: Pretty sure that's Wulfharth's soul in the mantella
  • 02:40:30: ShawnCognitionCP: No
  • 02:40:31: ShawnCognitionCP: Zurin
  • 02:40:32: Jr seriel: So where did ysmir go if he is immortal
  • 02:40:33: ShawnCognitionCP: His battlemage
  • 02:40:54: ShawnCognitionCP: http://en.uesp.net/wiki/Morrowind:The_Arcturian_Heresy
  • 02:41:02: ShawnCognitionCP: This book is written by Wulfharth himself
  • 02:41:06: ShawnCognitionCP: Even says it was Zurin's
  • 02:41:09: Jr seriel: Yeah I just read that
  • 02:42:09: ShawnCognitionCP: Zurin used the soulgem on Wulfharth but he in turn just reverted to ash and blasted him into it
  • 02:42:20: Jr seriel: How can he do that
  • 02:42:23: ShawnCognitionCP: In-game dialogue with Daggerfall's underking also has him refer to himself as Tiber's adviser
  • 02:42:26: ShawnCognitionCP: Which would be Zurin
  • 02:42:53: Jr seriel: I feel like we are talking about different things here
  • 02:43:09: Nekyn Alb: Yeah, that'd explain how Zurin destroys Numidium so easily
  • 02:43:10: ShawnCognitionCP: Was responding to Nekyn.
  • 02:43:48: Nekyn Alb: I guess this is the confusing part: "The Underking arrives and is ambushed by Imperial guards. As he takes them on, Zurin Arctus uses a soulgem on him. With his last breath, the Underking's Heart roars a hole through the Battlemage's chest. In the end, everyone is dead, the Underking has reverted back to ash, and Tiber Septim strolls in to take the soulgem."
  • 02:43:50: Jr seriel: Oh
  • 02:43:51: ShawnCognitionCP: "It seems that 'Underking' is a title that refers to both Zuirn Arctus and Wulfharth, depending on what period we're talking about. Once Wulfharth was trapped in the Mantella, it refers to Zurin (possibly 'possessed' by Wulfharth, though how that works with the soul in the Mantella...). One argument I read was that Wulfharth didn't actually manage to kill Zurin, but that their souls both powered the Mantella. As their souls were both in the Mantella, their bodies became one, so then the Underking was both Wulfharth and Zurin at the same time."
  • 02:44:03: ShawnCognitionCP: This is the best statement from the TESlore subreddit on the matter
  • 02:44:27: ShawnCognitionCP: Zurin's soul would have been trapped because Wulfharth essentially swapped bodies with him before he reverted to ash and was captured in the Mantella
  • 02:44:35: Nekyn Alb: Yeah, the dual-underking is something I support
  • 02:44:51: Nekyn Alb: fucking bodysnatching norse kings
  • 02:45:12: Jr seriel: So how was he capable of turning to Ash and being immortal
  • 02:45:16: ShawnCognitionCP: We know for a fact they were both Underkings, but two souls in the same body is also possible, I suppose, as a "fuck you". Seems in Wulfharth's character.
  • 02:45:17: Nekyn Alb: I actually never read that theory, wow
  • 02:45:29: ShawnCognitionCP: Ysmir even calls himself The Underking in that book I posted.
  • 02:45:33: ShawnCognitionCP: But, also calls Zurin it.
  • 02:45:54: ShawnCognitionCP: If the theory is to be trusted, but sharing Zurin's body with him, Seriel.
  • 02:46:07: ShawnCognitionCP: Without the theory, by having his soul bound to it and just possessing someone else.
  • 02:46:13: ShawnCognitionCP: It puts you in a permanent state of undeath.
  • 02:46:21: Jr seriel: Okay then the ash?
  • 02:46:28: ShawnCognitionCP: By the time you meet the Underking in-game, he's rotten and disfigured.
  • 02:46:47: Nekyn Alb: the cover of the game
  • 02:46:56: ShawnCognitionCP: Yes
  • 02:47:10: Jr seriel: So basically ysmir is the sandman from marvel
  • 02:47:30: Nekyn Alb: he's just missing the striped shirt
  • 02:47:43: ShawnCognitionCP: It would also explain the Entiamorph a lot easier
  • 02:47:51: The Crusader of Truth: http://prntscr.com/h3prj0 ? ?
  • 02:47:51: ShawnCognitionCP: If Zurin and Ysmir already were bonded
  • 02:48:01: ShawnCognitionCP: All they'd need is Hjalti, who's dead close after that
  • 02:48:06: Nekyn Alb: Ash is something very symbolic in nord culture and for someone who fought a lot in/with Morrowind
  • 02:48:37: Jr seriel: So let me recap this real quick
  • 02:48:39: ShawnCognitionCP: Keep in mind Ysmir isn't a villain like Hjalti, or morally grey like Zurin
  • 02:48:46: ShawnCognitionCP: Ysmir stood at the defense of Morrowind
  • 02:48:57: ShawnCognitionCP: Even though he was not allies with them during his rule
  • 02:49:09: ShawnCognitionCP: And they absolutely fucked up the Akaviri invasion
  • 02:49:21: Nekyn Alb: Wulfharth wants to kill all elves, lol
  • 02:49:23: ShawnCognitionCP: Zurin's debatable to be a hero, though
  • 02:49:24: ShawnCognitionCP: Yes
  • 02:49:32: ShawnCognitionCP: Because the High Elves end the fucking world
  • 02:49:35: Nekyn Alb: Totally not a villain
  • 02:49:48: ShawnCognitionCP: They directly lead to the extinction of the Nords.
  • 02:49:52: Nekyn Alb: Bosmer and Orsimer won't
  • 02:49:55: Jr seriel: Ysmir turns to Ash after the battle at red mountain. Ysmir then finds hjalti and zurin. He merges bodies with zurin and is now immortal
  • 02:50:09: ShawnCognitionCP: I believe it only goes as far as High Elves for him.
  • 02:50:11: ShawnCognitionCP: As with Pelinal.
  • 02:50:14: Nekyn Alb: he was immortal already
  • 02:50:30: Nekyn Alb: Ah, may be tbh
  • 02:50:31: Jr seriel: How was he immortal already ?
  • 02:50:33: ShawnCognitionCP: When he goes to ash he just possesses another body, if you want to simplify it
  • 02:50:40: Nekyn Alb: Pelinal didn't care about the kind of mer
  • 02:50:51: ShawnCognitionCP: Pelinal directly hated High Elves
  • 02:50:56: ShawnCognitionCP: because he's a post-Landfall construct
  • 02:51:01: ShawnCognitionCP: he knows exactly what they cause in the end
  • 02:51:06: Jr seriel: So he is like a glorified necromancer just possessing people willynilly
  • 02:51:06: Nekyn Alb: Ayleid? Kill. Bosmer? Kill. Khajiit who aren't elves? Kill.
  • 02:51:19: ShawnCognitionCP: Ayleids were all slaving cunts and tyrans.
  • 02:51:22: ShawnCognitionCP: tyrants*
  • 02:51:29: Nekyn Alb: So?
  • 02:51:33: ShawnCognitionCP: Bosmer were at war with the leader he served.
  • 02:51:36: ShawnCognitionCP: Khajiit as well.
  • 02:51:52: ShawnCognitionCP: Killing a tyrant doesn't make you evil.
  • 02:52:20: Jr seriel: Men did kind of screw up the elves immortality thing
  • 02:52:20: ShawnCognitionCP: He served what was essentially public enemy #1 at the time.
  • 02:52:33: Nekyn Alb: "Indeed, Pelinal Whitestrake, Nibenay warlord of the Elven Pogrom, mistook the khajiit for another strain of Aldmeri and killed many of their number before realizing his error."
  • 02:52:52: ShawnCognitionCP: Chalk that up to the fact he's a robot
  • 02:52:57: Nekyn Alb: PGE somethingsomething
  • 02:53:03: ShawnCognitionCP: Errors will result in mistakes being done
  • 02:53:10: Jr seriel: So pelinal is definitely a cyborg from a different kalpa?
  • 02:53:13: ShawnCognitionCP: No
  • 02:53:16: ShawnCognitionCP: From the future
  • 02:53:20: ShawnCognitionCP: Same kalpa
  • 02:53:31: ShawnCognitionCP: But, yes, he's 100% a construct.
  • 02:53:35: Jr seriel: But this kalpa ends in the end of the fifth era
  • 02:53:37: ShawnCognitionCP: The Amulet of Kings was his heart.
  • 02:53:41: Nekyn Alb: may be a different timeline
  • 02:53:41: ShawnCognitionCP: It doesn't
  • 02:53:49: ShawnCognitionCP: Landfall doesn't end in the end
  • 02:53:52: ShawnCognitionCP: It ends /men/
  • 02:54:00: ShawnCognitionCP: All races of Man die, High Elves all die
  • 02:54:03: ShawnCognitionCP: The rest are fine
  • 02:54:11: ShawnCognitionCP: Vivec and Jubal then make a new species of Man
  • 02:54:14: Jr seriel: Oh interesting. So who made pelinal then
  • 02:54:22: Nekyn Alb: All but Khajiit and Dunmer die I believe
  • 02:54:34: Jr seriel: Yeah dunmer go to the Moon or whatever
  • 02:54:42: Nekyn Alb: with the Khajiit
  • 02:54:45: Jr seriel: On their space ship
  • 02:54:50: ShawnCognitionCP: C0DA doesn't mention the others, but doesn't say they die.
  • 02:55:01: ShawnCognitionCP: Only confirmed by MK are Men and High Elves
  • 02:55:07: Nekyn Alb: where would they be, lol
  • 02:55:12: Nekyn Alb: Argonians may survive
  • 02:55:17: Nekyn Alb: Bosmer are rekt
  • 02:55:22: ShawnCognitionCP: The moons as well.
  • 02:55:33: ShawnCognitionCP: Just not directly mentioned because the story is about the Dunmer.
  • 02:55:57: Jr seriel: Mk definitely favorites the dunmer for some reason
  • 02:56:00: The Beautiful Princess Ashley: the argonians would probably die out if the numidium destroys the hist, but idk if it does
  • 02:56:07: ShawnCognitionCP: I love how the canonly strongest single entity in all of TES except Kalpa-Devouring Alduin is the fucking Hoonding
  • 02:56:22: Nekyn Alb: He created all the shit for the Dunmer with the other dudes
  • 02:56:26: ShawnCognitionCP: Cyrus throat-punched Talos on the moon
  • 02:56:33: ShawnCognitionCP: For the glory of the Hoonding
  • 02:56:43: Nekyn Alb: excuse me, you're missing Talos
  • 02:56:51: Jr seriel: Mk was just a writer and designer for Bethesda
  • 02:57:09: The Beautiful Princess Ashley: some people consider him canon, some don't
  • 02:57:12: ShawnCognitionCP: He wrote the entirety of Morrowind's story and TES lore up until Oblivion
  • 02:57:19: Nekyn Alb: Yeah only Todd Howard's farts are canon
  • 02:57:26: Jr seriel: Does anyone know what he does for living now
  • 02:57:29: Nekyn Alb: Kuhlmann, dude
  • 02:57:37: Nekyn Alb: Writes for TellTale
  • 02:57:39: ShawnCognitionCP: He is the single writer that turned TES from a literal D&D clone (programmed matches, Tamriel was their game world in Dungeons and Dragons) into its own series.
  • 02:57:44: ShawnCognitionCP: MK is the only reason TES is good.
  • 02:58:14: ShawnCognitionCP: Arena was just a programmed D&D match.
  • 02:58:29: ShawnCognitionCP: Daggerfall tried to separate itself but the lore was really bad.
  • 02:58:37: ShawnCognitionCP: Morrowind is when the series actually came together.
  • 02:58:49: Jr seriel: Didn't he work on daggerfall?
  • 02:59:02: Nekyn Alb: Haven't play Daggerfall but it doesn't seem especially bad
  • 02:59:06: Nekyn Alb: Redguard
  • 02:59:14: ShawnCognitionCP: It's a good game.
  • 02:59:22: ShawnCognitionCP: The lore is absolutely not up to standard, though.
  • 02:59:31: Nekyn Alb: It has nice books
  • 02:59:33: ShawnCognitionCP: Aetherius is where all of the Daedra and Aedra live.
  • 02:59:44: ShawnCognitionCP: No individual domains
  • 02:59:48: ShawnCognitionCP: Just Aetherius
  • 02:59:49: Nekyn Alb: I know that it's not up to date
  • 03:00:04: Nekyn Alb: But it doesn't seem bad on its own in regard of lore
  • 03:00:06: ShawnCognitionCP: Daggerfall Sheogorath is god-tier tho
  • 03:00:24: The Beautiful Princess Ashley: he's a god, so yeah
  • 03:00:59: Jr seriel: I always wondered why boethiah doesn't have a version of vampirism like molag besides the hunger
  • 03:01:19: The Beautiful Princess Ashley: bc she just doesn't
  • 03:01:23: Nekyn Alb: Hungers are daedra, not vampiric beings
  • 03:01:50: The Beautiful Princess Ashley: vampires are the spawn of a daedra, so i guess they're semi-daedric
  • 03:01:57: ShawnCognitionCP: I love how Boethiah has always portrayed themselves as a hypermasculine warrior but Skyrim had them become a thot so everyone says "She"
  • 03:02:03: ShawnCognitionCP: 4/5 games it's he
  • 03:02:12: Nekyn Alb: mortals with daedric influence. It's just a disease
  • 03:02:21: Jr seriel: Right but you would think that he would have come up with somethibg
  • 03:02:22: The Beautiful Princess Ashley: i don't care whether she's a he or a she
  • 03:02:39: ShawnCognitionCP: http://images.uesp.net//thumb/8/88/OB-Img-ShrineofBoethia.JPG/600px-OB-Img-ShrineofBoethia.JPG
  • 03:02:46: The Beautiful Princess Ashley: it's not like daedric princes actually have a set gender anyway
  • 03:02:58: Jr seriel: In daggerfall he's is clearly a dunmer looking dude
  • 03:02:58: ShawnCognitionCP: trve kvlt Boethiah
  • 03:03:28: ShawnCognitionCP: They don't, but they certainly have a preferred appearance.
  • 03:03:43: The Beautiful Princess Ashley: true, but boethiah has been shown to alternate
  • 03:03:47: ShawnCognitionCP: I don't believe Mehrunes Dagon or Molag Bal have ever appeared as female to their worshipers or have had a female statue.
  • 03:03:53: ShawnCognitionCP: The rest, yes, they actively flip.
  • 03:04:11: Nekyn Alb: Bal would most definitely appear as female sometimes
  • 03:04:13: Jr seriel: I am really interested in this who ysmir ash ordeal
  • 03:04:25: Jr seriel: Seems like a really good gameplay idea for a future tes game
  • 03:04:36: ShawnCognitionCP: Not instruct his followers to erect female statues in their honor tho, Nekyn
  • 03:04:38: ShawnCognitionCP: Which is what I said
  • 03:04:45: The Beautiful Princess Ashley: i don't think azura flips. she's consistently female
  • 03:05:01: ShawnCognitionCP: They seem to very much so prefer to be seen publicly as a male.
  • 03:05:05: Jr seriel: Azura is a babe in daggerfall
  • 03:05:18: ShawnCognitionCP: thot*
  • 03:05:35: Jr seriel: Babe *
  • 03:05:47: Nekyn Alb: It fits their roles better to be male
  • 03:06:00: ShawnCognitionCP: Yes, exactly.
  • 03:06:01: Nekyn Alb: Boethiah wouldn't have to care as much in the world of TES
  • 03:06:18: The Beautiful Princess Ashley: /me goes feminist on Nekyn's ass
  • 03:06:31: Nekyn Alb: put that strap away
  • 03:07:51: ShawnCognitionCP: Brienne of Tarth- the walking feminist agenda
  • 03:09:08: Nekyn Alb: Sheogorath should appear as a crazy cat lady in the next TES
  • 03:09:14: Nekyn Alb: Sheggorath
  • 03:12:13: Jr seriel: That whole ysmir ash thing reminds me of sauron not being to take a physical form deal in LOTR
  • 03:12:22: ShawnCognitionCP: He does tho
  • 03:12:30: Nekyn Alb: They can just sing him back
  • 03:12:40: ShawnCognitionCP: Tolkien confirmed that Sauron was 100% corporeal during the events of The Return of the King.
  • 03:12:47: ShawnCognitionCP: He was back with his physical body.
  • 03:12:52: ShawnCognitionCP: You just don't see it.
  • 03:13:06: Jr seriel: Yes but prior to the events of LOTR he does not
  • 03:13:27: ShawnCognitionCP: In fact, in the Return of the King movie, Peter Jackson was originally going to have Aragorn fight Sauron at the battle of the Black Gate.
  • 03:13:34: ShawnCognitionCP: They even filmed it. You can find some footage on Youtube.
  • 03:13:43: Jr seriel: I was gonna say I saw that deleted scene before
  • 03:13:46: ShawnCognitionCP: It was replaced with the troll you see in the fight.
  • 03:13:57: Jr seriel: There is also no giant eye thing
  • 03:14:08: Nekyn Alb: Magnus
  • 03:14:27: ShawnCognitionCP: He means in the books.
  • 03:14:31: Jr seriel: To be fair I see similarities in TES lore to LOTR lore all the time
  • 03:14:43: Nekyn Alb: oh ok
  • 03:14:45: ShawnCognitionCP: Yeah, Jackson thought it'd be more cinematic to make "Sauron's ever watchful gaze" literal
  • 03:14:46: ShawnCognitionCP: Well
  • 03:14:55: ShawnCognitionCP: D&D started off as ripping off Lord of the Rings
  • 03:15:00: The Beautiful Princess Ashley: LOTR is basically what every fantasy work is based on
  • 03:15:03: ShawnCognitionCP: and The Elder Scrolls started off as a match of D&D
  • 03:15:05: ShawnCognitionCP: so
  • 03:15:07: ShawnCognitionCP: yeah
  • 03:15:29: ShawnCognitionCP: Even LoTR based music is god-tier
  • 03:15:29: ShawnCognitionCP: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bkDYsBB6i0E
  • 03:15:31: KINMUNE: Emyn Muil - Dark Riots From Angband
  • 03:15:38: Jr seriel: My favorite lore aspect of LOTR is the valinor continent
  • 03:16:09: ShawnCognitionCP: I love the entirety of it.
  • 03:16:17: The Beautiful Princess Ashley: the silmarillion is definitely my favorite LOTR book, though i haven't finished it yet
  • 03:16:20: ShawnCognitionCP: It's an excellent story of adventure and development.
  • 03:16:24: ShawnCognitionCP: Morgoth
  • 03:16:24: ShawnCognitionCP: Yes
  • 03:16:25: ShawnCognitionCP: 100%
  • 03:16:30: Jr seriel: Yes ashley EXaclty EXACTLY
  • 03:16:56: ShawnCognitionCP: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=J98UTgx4mM8
  • 03:16:59: KINMUNE: Emyn Muil - Túrin Son Of Húrin
  • 03:17:31: Jr seriel: The Silmarillion is like the wikia of LOTR but in official christopher tolkien copyrighted book form
  • 03:18:02: ShawnCognitionCP: Morgoth/Melkor is a great character.
  • 03:18:29: Jr seriel: Morgoth is just like Hades in my mind. And for some reason he reminds me of Molag Bal from ESO
  • 03:19:13: ShawnCognitionCP: He's moreso Christianity's Satan
  • 03:19:38: ShawnCognitionCP: Was originally the strongest, most beautiful, can't create only corrupts Eru's creations, et cetera
  • 03:19:42: Jr seriel: Yes or Hades since originally Satan was spelled as Hades in early scripts of the Bible
  • 03:19:49: ShawnCognitionCP: It wasn't
  • 03:19:55: ShawnCognitionCP: It was Shaytan
  • 03:20:11: ShawnCognitionCP: The earliest Biblical records also don't count Lucifer and Satan as the same character
  • 03:20:11: Jr seriel: There are spellings of it as that way
  • 03:20:29: The Beautiful Princess Ashley: Satan is not Hades. Hades is the greek god of the underworld, satan is basically the christian equivalent
  • 03:20:34: Nekyn Alb: Hades and Satan are very different
  • 03:20:45: ShawnCognitionCP: There's not one reference to Lucifer being Satan in the original pre-Europeanized texts
  • 03:20:48: ShawnCognitionCP: In fact
  • 03:20:51: ShawnCognitionCP: Christ mantles Lucifer
  • 03:20:55: ShawnCognitionCP: Takes the name "Morningstar"
  • 03:20:56: Jr seriel: Yes I know, I am just saying that biblically they have spelled satan as hades before
  • 03:21:00: ShawnCognitionCP: Which was his title
  • 03:21:30: Nekyn Alb: He takes the place of the previously most loved son and hopesbringer
  • 03:21:39: ShawnCognitionCP: Hades is also a neutral to good character
  • 03:21:45: ShawnCognitionCP: While Satan is meant to be an evil character
  • 03:21:51: Nekyn Alb: Except for kidnapping that one goddess
  • 03:21:56: Jr seriel: Depends on perspective
  • 03:22:00: ShawnCognitionCP: That's heroic by Greek standards, Nekyn
  • 03:22:26: Jr seriel: Nekyn, the story where the music guy tries to rescue her?
  • 03:22:27: ShawnCognitionCP: Good thing about Greek gods is that they never claimed to be infallible or purely good.
  • 03:22:36: ShawnCognitionCP: They just did what they wanted.
  • 03:23:06: ShawnCognitionCP: Hades did provide the equivalent to paradise to mortals
  • 03:23:06: The Beautiful Princess Ashley: greek gods acted in their own self-interest, like normal people
  • 03:23:14: ShawnCognitionCP: Which would debatably make him the most good of all Greek gods
  • 03:23:23: Nekyn Alb: The heroic thing was the guys trying to save her I think. There was no love involved afterwards or anytime
  • 03:23:34: ShawnCognitionCP: Exactly, Greek gods were just people with extreme powers
  • 03:23:49: ShawnCognitionCP: No omnipotence, omnipresence, or anything of the sort.
  • 03:23:56: ShawnCognitionCP: They got lied to by mortals and fell for it.
  • 03:24:03: Nekyn Alb: I, too, throw my ugly children out of my house
  • 03:24:05: ShawnCognitionCP: As well as were able to die.
  • 03:24:45: Jr seriel: I really like the LOTR perpective on Mortality
  • 03:24:48: The Beautiful Princess Ashley: the best part of greek mythology is that Aphrodite is essentially Uranus's testicles
  • 03:26:11: Jr seriel: demigods are cool too in greek mythology
  • 03:27:03: Qahnaarin1997: Back nigs
  • 03:27:10: The Beautiful Princess Ashley: wb
  • 03:28:43: Jr seriel: My issue in greek mythology regarding demigods is their size
  • 03:29:03: Nekyn Alb: Yeah, why are all the penises so small
  • 03:29:09: Jr seriel: nono
  • 03:29:15: Nekyn Alb: Yesyes
  • 03:29:15: Jr seriel: Thats not what I am talking about lol
  • 03:29:20: Nekyn Alb: I am tho
  • 03:29:40: Nekyn Alb: I want to talk about the penises of dead and fictional people
  • 03:29:50: Jr seriel: alright begin
  • 03:29:54: Jr seriel: proceed
  • 03:30:09: Nekyn Alb: Cock
  • 03:30:21: Nekyn Alb: Hercupenis
  • 03:30:29: Nekyn Alb: I'm done
  • 03:30:33: Jr seriel: mhm yes, what a very profound theory
  • 03:31:35: Jr seriel: but like in the Illiad it references that Achillies is basically a giant. But there is little evidence of that
  • 03:31:47: Jr seriel: he was more likely a tall guy but not like 9 feet tall
  • 03:31:57: Jr seriel: if he even existed in the first place
  • 03:33:10: Jr seriel: woo steelers won!
  • 03:35:50: Jr seriel: Man I don't like scarlett johansen's moth
  • 03:35:54: Jr seriel: mouth*
  • 03:40:11: The Beautiful Princess Ashley: what's steelers?
  • 03:40:22: The Beautiful Princess Ashley: sports club?
  • 03:40:26: Jr seriel: Yes
  • 03:40:36: Jr seriel: American football team
  • 03:40:41: The Beautiful Princess Ashley: ah, that's why i've never heard of it
  • 03:41:20: Jr seriel: Its been a good weekend for sports. Manchester United beat Tottenham
  • 03:41:25: Jr seriel: Steelers won
  • 03:41:39: Jr seriel: The only bad part was the Cavs lost twice
  • 03:42:05: The Beautiful Princess Ashley: the only one of those i know is manchester united
  • 03:42:26: Jr seriel: Yeah I figured you would by your defining as 'sports clubs'
  • 03:42:40: Jr seriel: that is a british term
  • 03:42:45: The Beautiful Princess Ashley: yup
  • 03:45:21: Jr seriel: SO you said you are reading the Similarian
  • 03:45:32: Jr seriel: What is your opinion of Celebrimbor?
  • 03:45:44: The Beautiful Princess Ashley: haven't reached him yet
  • 03:45:56: The Beautiful Princess Ashley: he made the rings right?
  • 03:46:11: Jr seriel: Yes all of the rings of power except for the one ring
  • 03:46:45: The Beautiful Princess Ashley: the three were of his make, the nine and the seven were him and saurom, the one was just sauron
  • 03:46:53: The Beautiful Princess Ashley: sauron*
  • 03:47:23: Jr seriel: Yes but he still made them, sauron just tricked him and showed him how. He made the elven ones in secret
  • 03:47:30: The Beautiful Princess Ashley: aye
  • 03:48:10: Jr seriel: Did you get to elrond's father's story yet?
  • 03:48:16: The Beautiful Princess Ashley: the elves sensed Sauron's power over the rings and took them off, so sauron waged war and recovered all but the three, distributing them among the men and dwarves
  • 03:48:30: The Beautiful Princess Ashley: idk, who's that again?
  • 03:49:09: The Beautiful Princess Ashley: i've kinda halted the reading process to pursue more important things (like playing Morrowind)
  • 03:49:10: Jr seriel: earendil
  • 03:49:16: The Beautiful Princess Ashley: idk who that is
  • 03:49:35: Jr seriel: He has an exciting story when you get there
  • 03:50:43: Jr seriel: Also yes when sauron went back to Erandor he killed everyone and torchered celebrimbor and killed him and paraded his body through the streets on a stake
  • 03:51:02: Jr seriel: But celebrimbor never gave up the locations of the three rings
  • 03:52:00: Jr seriel: Aye I am waiting to replay morrowind when skywind comes out
  • 03:52:42: The Beautiful Princess Ashley: that's a mod that essentially remakes morrowind with skyrim physics right?
  • 03:53:05: Jr seriel: the skyrim game engine, yes
  • 04:00:09: The Crusader of Truth: Why not do the other way around?
  • 04:00:19: The Beautiful Princess Ashley: lol
  • 04:00:40: The Crusader of Truth: like tbh I would pay to see Skryim with Morrowind physics
  • 04:00:51: The Beautiful Princess Ashley: why?
  • 04:01:03: The Crusader of Truth: Whisper that so Todd Howard doesnt get any ideas
  • 04:01:16: Jr seriel: Todd howard would not want to do that
  • 04:01:23: Jr seriel: for a lot of reasons
  • 04:01:24: ShawnCognitionCP: Now introducing Skyrim Remastered for IOS
  • 04:01:38: The Crusader of Truth: And because I think it'd be really funny to watch
  • 04:01:41: The Crusader of Truth: Shawn plz no
  • 04:01:43: Jr seriel: The switch version is coming out
  • 04:01:58: The Beautiful Princess Ashley: isnt it out already?
  • 04:02:13: The Crusader of Truth: Skyrim VR
  • 04:02:15: Jr seriel: Probably I don't know
  • 04:02:21: Jr seriel: Skyrim VR is already out too
  • 04:02:32: Jr seriel: On playstation I think
  • 04:02:55: The Crusader of Truth: I think at this point fans are wondering more what other marketing idea todd could possibly have to milk skyrim more
  • 04:03:19: Jr seriel: There wont be a new TES game until atleast 2021
  • 04:03:45: Jr seriel: Especially since the beyond skyrim community, skywind, and skyblivion is done
  • 04:03:56: Jr seriel: **untill
  • 04:03:57: The Crusader of Truth: nonsense, we've already have had 89 new Skyrims
  • 04:04:53: The Crusader of Truth: Half of the fan base is going to be moved past gaming by the time the next game comes out
  • 04:05:37: Jr seriel: Yeah but those mod communities have 100s of modders working on them, not to mention for you to play skywind and skyblivion you have to have oblvion and morrowing purchased in your steam library which only gives bethesda more revenue off of their current titles, not to mention they get this revenue for free.
  • 04:08:01: Jr seriel: It doesn't matter it will be a triple A title and will gain a massive new user base
  • 04:08:26: The Beautiful Princess Ashley: triple a means nothing at this point
  • 04:08:35: Jr seriel: sure it does
  • 04:08:51: The Beautiful Princess Ashley: it means that a big company made it
  • 04:09:14: Jr seriel: Bethesda is a big company. But it more so has to do with the development and production budget of the game
  • 04:11:11: ShawnCognitionCP: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=X3FjBRoeTWU
  • 04:11:12: KINMUNE: Glorious slav
  • 04:12:54: The Crusader of Truth: Going to bed (hopefully for real this time.) Goodnight o/
  • 04:13:01: Jr seriel: Good luck crus
  • 04:13:05: The Beautiful Princess Ashley: gn
  • 04:13:35: Jr seriel: Yo Ashley its like 5 in the mornin over there
  • 04:14:07: The Beautiful Princess Ashley: it's 13:14 here
  • 04:15:58: Jr seriel: I am starting to think that dovahkin should be a dunmer instead of a nord
  • 04:16:07: Jr seriel: from a lore perspective
  • 04:16:19: The Beautiful Princess Ashley: the dovahkiin's race is not set in lore
  • 04:16:39: Jr seriel: Yes but you can try to make sense of the race you choose
  • 04:17:07: The Beautiful Princess Ashley: any race can make sense if you make up a proper backstory
  • 04:17:11: Jr seriel: For example, it makes sense for the hero of kvatch to be an imperial or a breton.
  • 04:17:37: The Beautiful Princess Ashley: cyrodiil is a melting pot of all cultures and races. HoK can be anything.
  • 04:17:39: Jr seriel: But if you try to use whats given to you in the game I try to reason what makes the most ssnse
  • 04:17:58: ShawnCognitionCP: The Last Dragonborn is a Shezzarine
  • 04:18:02: Jr seriel: If you analyze the creation kit for skyrim. Sheogorath is actually a breton
  • 04:18:06: ShawnCognitionCP: A shard of Lorkhan/Shor
  • 04:18:11: ShawnCognitionCP: It makes the most sense he'd be a Nord.
  • 04:18:13: Jr seriel: Which would imply that the HOK should have been a breton
  • 04:18:27: ShawnCognitionCP: That's not how mantling works.
  • 04:18:32: Jr seriel: Yeah I thought that too originally but I am starting to have doubts
  • 04:18:40: ShawnCognitionCP: If I'm an argonian and you're a Nord, and I mantle you, I then become a Nord.
  • 04:18:40: The Beautiful Princess Ashley: creation kit isn't canon anyway
  • 04:18:42: ShawnCognitionCP: Also
  • 04:18:44: ShawnCognitionCP: Just so you know
  • 04:18:54: ShawnCognitionCP: Mantling isn't possession/proper replacement
  • 04:18:56: Jr seriel: How is the creation kit not canon
  • 04:18:58: ShawnCognitionCP: You genuinely become them.
  • 04:19:09: ShawnCognitionCP: Sheogorath does not recall he was ever the Hero of Kvatch.
  • 04:19:10: The Beautiful Princess Ashley: sheo is also male, but none of my heroes of kvatch were male
  • 04:19:32: ShawnCognitionCP: You become that person in every sense of the word, memories and all.
  • 04:19:35: ShawnCognitionCP: Race included.
  • 04:19:45: ShawnCognitionCP: To mantle someone is to be so similar the universe can not tell you apart.
  • 04:19:45: The Beautiful Princess Ashley: sheo does refer to the events in oblivion in his skyrim appearance
  • 04:19:50: Jr seriel: Yes he does
  • 04:19:55: ShawnCognitionCP: No, he doesn't, Seriel
  • 04:19:57: ShawnCognitionCP: He mentions events
  • 04:20:01: ShawnCognitionCP: because he was still a god then
  • 04:20:07: ShawnCognitionCP: He is aware of the events because of course he fucking is
  • 04:20:18: ShawnCognitionCP: He didn't just cease to exist when they happened, nor did he not pay attention.
  • 04:20:49: Jr seriel: But I thought the jygallag sheogorath events happened after the events of the oblvion crisis
  • 04:20:51: ShawnCognitionCP: Notice when he mentions them he's also very foggy and can't recall them truly.
  • 04:20:54: ShawnCognitionCP: They did.
  • 04:20:55: ShawnCognitionCP: Again
  • 04:21:00: ShawnCognitionCP: When you mantle someone ,you are no longer you
  • 04:21:02: ShawnCognitionCP: You are them
  • 04:21:12: ShawnCognitionCP: If I mantle you, I would lose my identity and gain yours.
  • 04:21:17: ShawnCognitionCP: I would have your memories and emotions.
  • 04:21:21: Jr seriel: Please don't
  • 04:21:23: ShawnCognitionCP: Your feelings and your wishes.
  • 04:21:36: ShawnCognitionCP: That's what mantling is. Not just taking their position.
  • 04:21:58: Jr seriel: Regardless I feel there is a best narrative decision as to what race to play
  • 04:22:10: Jr seriel: in each game
  • 04:22:21: The Beautiful Princess Ashley: i feel like it all depends on what backstory you invent for your character
  • 04:22:23: ShawnCognitionCP: Sheogorath in Skyrim implies a *part* of him is remembering the events the Hero did, but it's locked away and smeared.
  • 04:22:26: ShawnCognitionCP: There is
  • 04:22:29: ShawnCognitionCP: Arena- Imperial
  • 04:22:33: ShawnCognitionCP: Daggerfall- Imperial
  • 04:22:35: Jr seriel: In morrowind it makes sense for the nerravine to be a dunmer since he is the reincarnation of the other nervane
  • 04:23:03: ShawnCognitionCP: You're being shipped *to* Morrowind.
  • 04:23:06: ShawnCognitionCP: You're an outsider.
  • 04:23:21: Jr seriel: because they believe you are the nerravine?
  • 04:23:21: The Beautiful Princess Ashley: that's not how reincarnation works
  • 04:23:25: ShawnCognitionCP: Reincarnations are also in no way more likely to be the same race.
  • 04:23:29: The Beautiful Princess Ashley: ^
  • 04:23:48: Jr seriel: well in my backstory thats what reincarnation means
  • 04:23:49: ShawnCognitionCP: The main plot of Morrowind involves people *doubting* you're the Nerevarine.
  • 04:23:56: ShawnCognitionCP: People only accept it once you prove it.
  • 04:24:06: ShawnCognitionCP: Before then, everyone hates you except your specific crew of allies.
  • 04:24:07: Jr seriel: well thats like some dude going around saying hes the next messiah
  • 04:24:12: Jr seriel: I wouldnt beleive him either
  • 04:24:15: Jr seriel: or her
  • 04:24:28: The Beautiful Princess Ashley: i am the next messiah though
  • 04:24:47: Jr seriel: Suspicious
  • 04:24:51: ShawnCognitionCP: MK does mention the Nerevarine as Dunmer, but it's not because of reincarnation working that way.
  • 04:24:55: ShawnCognitionCP: Oblivion- Imperial
  • 04:25:02: ShawnCognitionCP: Truly, Imperial is the best race in most
  • 04:25:11: ShawnCognitionCP: Even in Skyrim, you're caught crossing the border /into/ Skyrim.
  • 04:25:20: Jr seriel: Yeah but skyrim is weird
  • 04:25:20: ShawnCognitionCP: Could be a foreign Nord, but it's less likely.
  • 04:25:33: Jr seriel: But there are also all the dunmer fleeing morrowind
  • 04:25:43: ShawnCognitionCP: Not all of Morrowind.
  • 04:25:47: ShawnCognitionCP: Just a good chunk.
  • 04:25:48: Jr seriel: vvardenfell
  • 04:26:01: ShawnCognitionCP: Yes, which is a rather small island in comparison with the mainland of Morrowind.
  • 04:26:12: ShawnCognitionCP: The main issue with Morrowind is that Black Marsh is fucking invading it.
  • 04:26:16: Jr seriel: yeah and then those pesky slave argonians took the other half
  • 04:26:20: ShawnCognitionCP: They took nearly half of the mainland
  • 04:26:20: Jr seriel: exactly
  • 04:27:06: The Beautiful Princess Ashley: morrowind is basically fucked in skyrim
  • 04:27:25: Jr seriel: Yes which paves the way why the last dragonborn could possibly be a dunmer
  • 04:27:46: ShawnCognitionCP: I don't recall any dragonborn ever being a Dunmer.
  • 04:27:48: Jr seriel: I know this is a very subjective topic so there are no right answers
  • 04:27:58: Jr seriel: hjalti was a breton?
  • 04:28:05: ShawnCognitionCP: Imperials, Bretons, and Nords.
  • 04:28:10: ShawnCognitionCP: So was Miraak.
  • 04:28:13: ShawnCognitionCP: Breton.
  • 04:28:27: The Beautiful Princess Ashley: any race can make sense with enough reasoning
  • 04:28:53: Jr seriel: true
  • 04:29:02: ShawnCognitionCP: Redguards have never used the Thu'um.
  • 04:29:07: ShawnCognitionCP: They have a much, much stronger alternative.
  • 04:29:09: ShawnCognitionCP: Sword-singing.
  • 04:29:16: ShawnCognitionCP: Thu'um in lore can destroy cities.
  • 04:29:19: Jr seriel: isnt that CHIM in reguard
  • 04:29:22: ShawnCognitionCP: Sword-singing destroyed a fucking continent.
  • 04:29:26: ShawnCognitionCP: No, it's not CHIM.
  • 04:29:29: Jr seriel: alright
  • 04:30:08: ShawnCognitionCP: CHIM is realizing that the universe is a dream, everyone one in that regard, yet keeping your sense of individuality.
  • 04:30:16: ShawnCognitionCP: Thus having some control over said dream.
  • 04:30:47: Jr seriel: Thu'um can change the weather and slow the perspection of time and what not that is pretty significant control
  • 04:31:08: The Beautiful Princess Ashley: it's a different kind of control
  • 04:31:22: ShawnCognitionCP: Thu'um is just a sort of spell.
  • 04:31:27: ShawnCognitionCP: It's magic-imbued language.
  • 04:31:32: ShawnCognitionCP: Nothing to do with the dream.
  • 04:31:33: Jr seriel: Possibly, but thu'um doesnt drain magicka
  • 04:31:41: The Beautiful Princess Ashley: i can control what messages appear next to my profile pic in this chat, that doesn't make me some god
  • 04:31:42: ShawnCognitionCP: Yes, because it functions by language.
  • 04:31:44: ShawnCognitionCP: Not your body.
  • 04:31:51: ShawnCognitionCP: The words themselves hold the power.
  • 04:32:11: ShawnCognitionCP: The spell does not go through your body in any sense, you say the words and that triggers the effect.
  • 04:32:46: Jr seriel: How do you use CHIM then from a gameplay perspective
  • 04:32:52: The Beautiful Princess Ashley: not
  • 04:32:57: ShawnCognitionCP: You don't.
  • 04:32:59: ShawnCognitionCP: Ever.
  • 04:33:06: ShawnCognitionCP: No one you play is great enough to do so.
  • 04:33:06: Jr seriel: Vivec did though
  • 04:33:11: ShawnCognitionCP: You don't play as Vivec.
  • 04:33:16: The Beautiful Princess Ashley: ^
  • 04:33:19: ShawnCognitionCP: You meet him in one canon game.
  • 04:33:28: ShawnCognitionCP: And one semi-canon.
  • 04:33:45: ShawnCognitionCP: You also meet Talos in the same canon game.
  • 04:33:52: ShawnCognitionCP: Both are the only two we know for a fact achieved CHIM.
  • 04:34:02: Jr seriel: I don't know CHIM kind of breaks and restricts gameplay mechanics potentially and that is like the first lesson in game design
  • 04:34:10: ShawnCognitionCP: Excluding Anu, from a different kalpa.
  • 04:34:26: ShawnCognitionCP: None of the characters you play in TES are even capable of achieving CHIM.
  • 04:34:27: Jr seriel: Just the fact that exists restricts gameplay
  • 04:34:36: The Beautiful Princess Ashley: no it doesn't
  • 04:34:37: ShawnCognitionCP: A huge part of TES is that it doesn't have happy endings.
  • 04:34:46: ShawnCognitionCP: Arena- Die rich and famous (only good mainline ending)
  • 04:34:50: ShawnCognitionCP: Daggerfall- you fucking die
  • 04:34:58: ShawnCognitionCP: Morrowind- kill your friends and disappear
  • 04:35:15: Jr seriel: Oblvion you become a god
  • 04:35:17: ShawnCognitionCP: Oblivion - mantle Sheogorath and lose your identity
  • 04:35:21: Jr seriel: that is kind of a good ending
  • 04:35:23: ShawnCognitionCP: Yes, but you aren't *you*
  • 04:35:28: The Beautiful Princess Ashley: i don't recall killing any friends in the morrowind main quest
  • 04:35:29: ShawnCognitionCP: You think you've always been him, in a sense
  • 04:35:30: Jr seriel: mantle a god*
  • 04:35:34: ShawnCognitionCP: Dagoth Ur
  • 04:35:38: ShawnCognitionCP: Almalexia
  • 04:35:42: ShawnCognitionCP: (Optional) Vivec
  • 04:35:57: ShawnCognitionCP: You also lead to the crippling disasters in Morrowind's future
  • 04:36:09: ShawnCognitionCP: Skyrim- Become H.Mora's slave for eternity
  • 04:36:12: The Beautiful Princess Ashley: dagoth ur is not a friend, he is a warped demon. almalexia is a crazed psychopath. vivec doesn't have to die
  • 04:36:17: Jr seriel: Do they mention CHIM in bethesda games, not ESO. I know they mention it in that
  • 04:36:29: ShawnCognitionCP: Dagoth Ur is an anti-hero. He's a hero from another perspective.
  • 04:36:35: ShawnCognitionCP: And Nerevar betrayed *him*
  • 04:36:37: The Beautiful Princess Ashley: true
  • 04:36:50: ShawnCognitionCP: Almalexia helps you greatly through the story with the Tribunal and you cause her insanity directly
  • 04:36:55: ShawnCognitionCP: Vivec, yes, I said is optional
  • 04:37:09: ShawnCognitionCP: Sotha Sil gets fucked regardless at the start of Tribunal
  • 04:37:12: ShawnCognitionCP: Seriel
  • 04:37:18: ShawnCognitionCP: It's mentioned in Morrowind, Oblivion, and Skyrim.
  • 04:37:19: Jr seriel: I murdered vivec so he never reached Chim
  • 04:37:27: ShawnCognitionCP: Dragonborn had a /lot/ of CHIM references.
  • 04:37:29: ShawnCognitionCP: All of the Black Books.
  • 04:37:39: ShawnCognitionCP: Vivec achieved CHIM well before you meet him in Morrowind.
  • 04:37:49: ShawnCognitionCP: He's a literal god in two different ways in that game.
  • 04:37:59: Jr seriel: But I killed him! i saw his lifely body
  • 04:38:05: Jr seriel: lifeless*
  • 04:38:10: ShawnCognitionCP: From the tools *and* his CHIM. When you make the tribunal lose their godhood, he keeps his
  • 04:38:13: ShawnCognitionCP: Gods can die in TES>
  • 04:38:17: ShawnCognitionCP: Triminac?
  • 04:38:19: ShawnCognitionCP: Lorkhan?
  • 04:38:36: ShawnCognitionCP: Numidium (technically by powerscale, above the gods)
  • 04:38:48: Jr seriel: I thought the black books are just deadric artificats and have weird symbols in them
  • 04:38:50: ShawnCognitionCP: Alduin's a god, but you didn't kill him, just slayed a physical manifestation of him
  • 04:39:00: ShawnCognitionCP: The black books all contain hidden and forbidden knowledge.
  • 04:39:10: ShawnCognitionCP: That's H.Mora's entire gimmick and why they hold such power.
  • 04:39:13: Jr seriel: But the contents arent really said
  • 04:39:23: ShawnCognitionCP: They are
  • 04:39:23: The Beautiful Princess Ashley: the books are just gibberish to me
  • 04:39:27: ShawnCognitionCP: When you open them, they have text
  • 04:39:31: ShawnCognitionCP: You just see if for a second
  • 04:39:36: Jr seriel: yes but we cant read it
  • 04:39:38: ShawnCognitionCP: You can find screenshots of the texts online
  • 04:39:40: ShawnCognitionCP: Yes, you can
  • 04:39:43: Jr seriel: or atleast I cant
  • 04:39:45: Jr seriel: hold on
  • 04:39:57: ShawnCognitionCP: Just go to pages on them, they should have the info
  • 04:40:01: ShawnCognitionCP: If not here, UESP
  • 04:40:23: Jr seriel: It is just symbols, Its not even deadric
  • 04:40:55: Jr seriel: in fact no where on the wiki pages on black books does it talk about CHIM
  • 04:41:21: ShawnCognitionCP: http://en.uesp.net/wiki/Lore:Black_Books
  • 04:41:25: ShawnCognitionCP: Click each book
  • 04:41:29: ShawnCognitionCP: You can read them
  • 04:41:34: ShawnCognitionCP: It does, directly
  • 04:41:40: ShawnCognitionCP: it mentions the Godhood by title
  • 04:41:48: ShawnCognitionCP: Godhead*
  • 04:41:56: ShawnCognitionCP: CHIM and Godhead are part of the same concept
  • 04:42:13: ShawnCognitionCP: CHIM is the first step of The Walking Way, the last step is Amaranth, becoming the new godhead/dreamer
  • 04:42:45: ShawnCognitionCP: Vivec also discusses CHIM directly in both his sermons and dialogue.
  • 04:42:58: ShawnCognitionCP: And as for Oblivion, it's part of the main lore
  • 04:43:02: Jr seriel: does he do that in morrowind?
  • 04:43:13: ShawnCognitionCP: Cyrodiil not being a jungle is explained by Bethesda as an act of CHIM
  • 04:43:15: ShawnCognitionCP: Yes
  • 04:43:20: Jr seriel: I never read or heard anyone reference chim in oblivion
  • 04:43:24: The Beautiful Princess Ashley: it is mentioned in the 36 lessons of vivec, which are in morrowind
  • 04:43:34: Jr seriel: Yes but is says he used the winds or song to change it
  • 04:43:41: The Beautiful Princess Ashley: it's referenced in mankar camoran's commentaries in oblivion
  • 04:43:47: Jr seriel: oh yeahhh
  • 04:43:49: ShawnCognitionCP: It's part of the main plot, lol
  • 04:43:52: Jr seriel: forgot about mankar cameron
  • 04:43:59: ShawnCognitionCP: CHIM is Mankar's goal, partially
  • 04:44:04: ShawnCognitionCP: Little known fact
  • 04:44:06: Jr seriel: yeah forgot about that bloke
  • 04:44:07: ShawnCognitionCP: Mankar was a dragonborn
  • 04:44:20: ShawnCognitionCP: He "spoke fire" and wore the amulet of kings.
  • 04:44:22: Jr seriel: so why didnt mankar thu'um you to death
  • 04:44:34: ShawnCognitionCP: Being a dragonborn =/= being a good one
  • 04:44:48: ShawnCognitionCP: You can be a dragonborn and never discover it, dying without ever knowing what you could do.
  • 04:45:03: Jr seriel: what a shame
  • 04:45:21: Jr seriel: he could have ruled the world instead he got killed by a measly imperial/breton
  • 04:45:31: ShawnCognitionCP: "From Mankar's own "Commentaries", volume III: Offering myself to that daybreak allowed the girdle of grace to contain me. When my voice returned, it spoke with another tongue. After three nights I could speak fire"
  • 04:45:33: ShawnCognitionCP: Not really
  • 04:45:38: ShawnCognitionCP: Dragonborn aren't unstoppable.
  • 04:45:47: Jr seriel: Hjalti?
  • 04:45:49: ShawnCognitionCP: The Thu'um at its greatest extent could destroy cities.
  • 04:45:53: Jr seriel: YSmir
  • 04:46:02: ShawnCognitionCP: Only Ysmir.
  • 04:46:24: ShawnCognitionCP: Ysmir could destroy a city the size of Whiterun with his Unrelenting Force.
  • 04:46:26: ShawnCognitionCP: /and he died/
  • 04:46:26: Jr seriel: How did we get to this
  • 04:46:29: ShawnCognitionCP: /multiple times/
  • 04:46:43: Jr seriel: but he kept coming back for some reason
  • 04:46:48: Jr seriel: as an gust of ash wind
  • 04:46:52: ShawnCognitionCP: Because he was an Underking.
  • 04:47:04: ShawnCognitionCP: A lich
  • 04:47:04: Jr seriel: Who picked him to be underking
  • 04:47:09: ShawnCognitionCP: wat
  • 04:47:09: Jr seriel: how did he acheive that
  • 04:47:12: ShawnCognitionCP: You don't get picked.
  • 04:47:16: Jr seriel: how did he become underking
  • 04:47:19: ShawnCognitionCP: Both Underkings gave themselves the title.
  • 04:47:27: ShawnCognitionCP: By being fucking Ysmir Kingmaker
  • 04:47:34: Jr seriel: Thats dumb
  • 04:47:44: ShawnCognitionCP: He's essentially TES' badass that no one knows.
  • 04:47:52: ShawnCognitionCP: Because Hjalti stole credit for his entire life
  • 04:47:55: Jr seriel: lame story telling
  • 04:48:08: ShawnCognitionCP: TES lore is based off of real world mythology.
  • 04:48:18: Jr seriel: but he was super powerful before all that stealing identity thing
  • 04:48:20: ShawnCognitionCP: A lot of real world mythology does not fill every gap.
  • 04:49:03: The Beautiful Princess Ashley: real world mythology calls you a filthy heathen if you point out that there are gaps
  • 04:49:19: ShawnCognitionCP: Wulfharth was either repeatedly resurrected, or /himself/ was a series of multiple shezzarine.
  • 04:49:37: Jr seriel: I wish they would depict the process of how and why ysmir became what he did
  • 04:50:08: ShawnCognitionCP: "One theory to explain his unusual ability to cheat death suggests that Wulfharth was not a mere man, but one of a series of avatars sent by Shor—the Shezarrines.[4][5] Arguably included among these avatars would be Hans the Fox and Pelinal Whitestrake, among others.[6] The theory claims that Wulfharth reincarnated or recurred, as Shor's avatars are wont to do, as Ysmir, an undead warrior bent on ruling Tamriel (although some suggest Wulfharth was known as Ysmir before this).[7] Thus was born the Underking, a title which could perhaps be attached to his predecessors, as well. • 04:50:26: ShawnCognitionCP: A goal which he achieved by becoming Tiber Septim after Hjalti
  • 04:50:59: Jr seriel: I thought the last dragonborn was a shezarine too
  • 04:51:09: ShawnCognitionCP: He is.
  • 04:51:16: ShawnCognitionCP: Shezzarine exist all throughout history.
  • 04:51:22: ShawnCognitionCP: It's mentioning ones /before/ Wulfharth.
  • 04:51:29: ShawnCognitionCP: Here's what will explain everything very quick
  • 04:51:31: ShawnCognitionCP: " The undead Wulfharth allied himself with a man from High Rock named Hjalti, the young general Talos, whom he granted the power of thu'um and acted as a hidden trump card and counselor. When Talos made peace with the Tribunal and accepted Numidium, Wulfharth felt betrayed and abandoned his ascendant alter-ego. Talos enlisted the help of Imperial Battlemage Zurin Arctus in ambushing and soultrapping Wulfharth (by extension, soultrapping Lorkhan himself and enabling the Mantella to serve as a replacement for the Heart of Lorkhan), thus allowing for the activation of Numidium. Wulfharth killed Zurin Arctus with his dying breath and then returned to dust.[7] Sometime later, Zurin Arctus reappeared as a lich, and it is suspected that Wulfharth possessed Arctus or allowed him to reanimate"
  • 04:51:43: Jr seriel: wait
  • 04:52:00: Jr seriel: ysmir gave talos the thu'um?
  • 04:52:12: ShawnCognitionCP: Yes, he taught him it.
  • 04:52:46: Jr seriel: dumb question, talos was a dragonborn right?
  • 04:52:53: Jr seriel: He just didn't know it at the time?
  • 04:53:14: ShawnCognitionCP: Hjalti?
  • 04:53:20: ShawnCognitionCP: Yes.
  • 04:53:22: Jr seriel: yes
  • 04:53:28: ShawnCognitionCP: And he did know.
  • 04:53:39: Jr seriel: but he didn't know how to use thu'um
  • 04:53:40: ShawnCognitionCP: The Amulet of Kings was bestowed upon him, and only Dragonborn could wear it.
  • 04:53:59: ShawnCognitionCP: Can't exactly use the Thu'um if there's no dragons /and/ no one's taught you in it.
  • 04:54:15: Jr seriel: so where did ysmir learn the thu'um from
  • 04:54:25: ShawnCognitionCP: In reality, The Last Dragonborn still must train and learn shouts, it's accelerated but not instant like in-game.
  • 04:54:50: Jr seriel: Yeah i simulated that in my play through because it didn't make sense how fast he learned it/
  • 04:55:01: Jr seriel: But maybe he was special and just picked it up lik that
  • 04:55:26: The Beautiful Princess Ashley: my dovahkiins were just good students i guess
  • 04:55:27: ShawnCognitionCP: As for Ysmir, his early life before becoming High King is not well known.
  • 04:55:47: ShawnCognitionCP: He had all the Greybeards try to shout him apart and was left unharmed.
  • 04:55:55: Jr seriel: so was the last dragonborn
  • 04:56:06: Jr seriel: ysmir was a nede right?
  • 04:56:13: ShawnCognitionCP: Nord
  • 04:56:14: Jr seriel: or was he a nord
  • 04:56:16: Jr seriel: got it
  • 04:56:20: The Beautiful Princess Ashley: the greybeards never tried to kill the dragonborn
  • 04:56:29: ShawnCognitionCP: They put you through the same test
  • 04:56:32: ShawnCognitionCP: When they all shout at you
  • 04:56:40: ShawnCognitionCP: But, remember what I said about /lore/ Thu'um
  • 04:56:43: Jr seriel: Yeah man and you stand there like a champ
  • 04:56:45: ShawnCognitionCP: Can destroy a city in a shout.
  • 04:57:00: ShawnCognitionCP: Ysmir was unmoved by what is essentially hurricane-in-a-can
  • 04:57:10: Jr seriel: didnt the redguard use the sword singing to sink that atlantis place
  • 04:58:01: ShawnCognitionCP: Yes, they sunk an entire continent.
  • 04:58:12: ShawnCognitionCP: Sword-singing is by far stronger than the Thu'um.
  • 04:58:24: Jr seriel: Too bad we don't see that in game
  • 04:58:55: ShawnCognitionCP: You got to play as the guy that throat-punched Talos on the moon tho
  • 04:58:57: ShawnCognitionCP: Cyrus
  • 04:59:12: ShawnCognitionCP: He also made Vivec piss himself because he lied and showed him a rock
  • 04:59:12: Jr seriel: But you don't get to sword sing
  • 04:59:16: ShawnCognitionCP: Nope
  • 04:59:18: ShawnCognitionCP: That is true
  • 04:59:26: ShawnCognitionCP: Cyrus is a fucking bamf tho
  • 05:00:19: Jr seriel: TES is weird when you get into it. Especially for a video game
  • 05:01:09: Jr seriel: Ysmir is probably my new favorite character thanks to these conversations
  • 05:01:17: Jr seriel: Cyrus is boring
  • 05:01:31: Jr seriel: Vivec is strange
  • 05:02:06: ShawnCognitionCP: Vivec got raped by Molag Bal, raped him back, bit his cock and learned the secret of life in doing so, then killed 13 of their children with his penis
  • 05:02:11: ShawnCognitionCP: Real TES lore
  • 05:02:18: Jr seriel: What do you think the likelyhood that bethesda actually goes with CODA for their game flow.
  • 05:02:34: Jr seriel: Yeah hence why Vivec is strange.
  • 05:02:40: The Beautiful Princess Ashley: he gave birth, then killed his kids with his penis
  • 05:02:40: ShawnCognitionCP: They already are going with Landfall.
  • 05:02:49: Jr seriel: But he also seems relatevely normal in Morrowind
  • 05:02:49: ShawnCognitionCP: Skyrim is 100% pre-landfall lore.
  • 05:02:55: ShawnCognitionCP: Alduin is the devourer of kalpas.
  • 05:03:06: ShawnCognitionCP: The towers are mentioned as all but destroyed (the event that triggers landfall)
  • 05:03:18: ShawnCognitionCP: The stones are almost all destroyed and missing (causes landfall)
  • 05:03:28: ShawnCognitionCP: The Aldmeri Dominion were written by MK for landfall
  • 05:03:31: ShawnCognitionCP: List goes on
  • 05:03:33: The Beautiful Princess Ashley: some towers still stand though, and i doubt bethesda will actually let landfall happen
  • 05:03:40: ShawnCognitionCP: Two towers stand.
  • 05:03:50: ShawnCognitionCP: And Bethesda is 100% going with the event
  • 05:03:51: Jr seriel: I thought that they havent drawn the connection between the towers and landfall in the game. But they did mention the towers just not that they have any significance
  • 05:04:00: Jr seriel: How do you know?
  • 05:04:14: ShawnCognitionCP: Because Skyrim is all about the start of it?
  • 05:04:17: ShawnCognitionCP: That's the entire plot?
  • 05:04:22: The Beautiful Princess Ashley: adamantine tower and which other?
  • 05:04:33: ShawnCognitionCP: The series is prone to go in the direction of /avoiding/ landfall by exterminating the threat.
  • 05:04:37: ShawnCognitionCP: Still landfall.
  • 05:04:37: Jr seriel: The snow tower hasn''t fallen
  • 05:04:42: ShawnCognitionCP: The Throat of the World, Ashley.
  • 05:04:47: The Beautiful Princess Ashley: ah yes
  • 05:04:55: ShawnCognitionCP: The stone for it is the Aetherium you find in Dragonborn.
  • 05:05:04: ShawnCognitionCP: Meaning it's purposefully revealed by Bethesda
  • 05:05:07: ShawnCognitionCP: Which means it's fucked
  • 05:05:18: The Beautiful Princess Ashley: the prophecy of the dragonborn suggests snow tower has fallen though
  • 05:05:19: ShawnCognitionCP: Adamantium Tower seems like a proper game climax location anyways.
  • 05:05:24: Jr seriel: Has anyone asked the dev team during an AMA about CODA
  • 05:05:27: ShawnCognitionCP: Makes sense it'd be the last standing.
  • 05:05:44: ShawnCognitionCP: MK still writes some in game books and has said Skyrim was the start of a series of games about the downfall of man.
  • 05:06:07: Jr seriel: Yeah but has anyone from Bethesda directly stated that they are doing this
  • 05:06:10: ShawnCognitionCP: Landfall is mentioned heavily in game, just never by name.
  • 05:06:11: ShawnCognitionCP: Again
  • 05:06:14: ShawnCognitionCP: Skyrim's entire plot
  • 05:06:15: The Beautiful Princess Ashley: MK doesn't call the shots on what will happen though
  • 05:06:20: ShawnCognitionCP: is based upon preexisting landfall lore
  • 05:06:31: ShawnCognitionCP: They based the entire campaign around the events that cause landfall.
  • 05:06:48: Jr seriel: Its all open to interpretation. Bethesda could just be using the plot for now to change it entirely later on
  • 05:06:51: ShawnCognitionCP: They go out of their way to repeatedly mention the towers, /show/ their destruction-
  • 05:06:55: ShawnCognitionCP: It's not open to interpretation
  • 05:06:59: ShawnCognitionCP: "This is A'
  • 05:07:02: Jr seriel: Yes it is?
  • 05:07:04: ShawnCognitionCP: "You don't /know/ they meant A"
  • 05:07:12: ShawnCognitionCP: If a game says something, I'm going to take it as what it said.
  • 05:07:26: Jr seriel: The next games haven't been written so its open to interpretation
  • 05:07:41: ShawnCognitionCP: Only way out would be decanonizing Skyrim.
  • 05:07:49: Jr seriel: Not necessary
  • 05:07:53: ShawnCognitionCP: Again, Skyrim is built 100% on landfall lore.
  • 05:07:53: Jr seriel: *necessarily
  • 05:07:56: ShawnCognitionCP: Yes, completely.
  • 05:08:07: Jr seriel: it maybe, but they could change the direction
  • 05:08:09: The Beautiful Princess Ashley: beth can do whatever they want. they can continue with this landfall stuff, or they can take a wholly different direction
  • 05:08:11: ShawnCognitionCP: The main campaign is all about the events surrounding the potential threat to the kalpa.
  • 05:08:20: Jr seriel: yes it is
  • 05:08:24: ShawnCognitionCP: You guys really don't understand writing or plot construction.
  • 05:08:35: Jr seriel: Are you a game developer?
  • 05:09:02: ShawnCognitionCP: If you spend millions on a title /specifically setting up a plot line/, you don't just 180 it, in a continued series.
  • 05:09:08: ShawnCognitionCP: No, but I am a writer.
  • 05:09:32: ShawnCognitionCP: Can post book cover, though it's on a pause until further notice
  • 05:09:33: Jr seriel: Bethesda has full autonomy on what they chose to do. Any possibility is possible at this point for the direction. Everything at this point is evidence driven conjecture
  • 05:09:37: ShawnCognitionCP: Again
  • 05:09:41: ShawnCognitionCP: If they don't follow the plot
  • 05:09:47: ShawnCognitionCP: The one option is decanonizing Skyrim
  • 05:10:03: Jr seriel: Or just take in another direction using what they established in skyrim
  • 05:10:07: ShawnCognitionCP: When Skyrim ends, it's confirmed "yeah, this is happening", as you can even find dossiers of the Thalmor discussing this plan.
  • 05:10:14: Jr seriel: They do not HAVE to follow coda
  • 05:10:16: ShawnCognitionCP: What they established in Skyrim was this and nothing else.
  • 05:10:25: ShawnCognitionCP: C0DA is the story of landfall
  • 05:10:30: Jr seriel: Yes
  • 05:10:32: ShawnCognitionCP: The games will take the route of /avoiding/ Landfall
  • 05:10:35: The Beautiful Princess Ashley: bethesda doesn't follow a plot, they follow money. they will do whatever will sell best
  • 05:10:50: Jr seriel: Well they will do whatever their creative minds choose
  • 05:11:01: The Beautiful Princess Ashley: and fucking up the tes universe with landfall won't sell
  • 05:11:03: ShawnCognitionCP: The main point of Landfall's buildup is that it is fate; the main point of TES is that fate is able to be fought against and changed.
  • 05:11:08: ShawnCognitionCP: Do you two even read?
  • 05:11:09: ShawnCognitionCP: Again
  • 05:11:11: Jr seriel: They could set it up in skyrim for coda and then design a whole differnt alternative route for the series later
  • 05:11:14: ShawnCognitionCP: It is /avoiding/ landfall
  • 05:11:33: Jr seriel: Perhaps, but who is to say
  • 05:11:50: ShawnCognitionCP: The towers are set up as all but destroyed, as are the stones, the Thalmor are the strongest military force and each and every pre-landfall event has happened in game as of Skyrim.
  • 05:11:57: ShawnCognitionCP: Not perhaps, this is an absolute certainty.
  • 05:12:11: ShawnCognitionCP: The next games will very obviously be about tackling the Thalmor threat.
  • 05:12:14: Jr seriel: They do not talk about the importance and true meanings of the towers in-game
  • 05:12:19: ShawnCognitionCP: They do.
  • 05:12:24: ShawnCognitionCP: Throat of the World's magical rift
  • 05:12:30: Jr seriel: that is a dragonbreak
  • 05:12:36: ShawnCognitionCP: Ye
  • 05:12:41: ShawnCognitionCP: Towers weaken the rift of time
  • 05:12:47: The Beautiful Princess Ashley: that's due to the elder scroll fucking up time there
  • 05:12:48: ShawnCognitionCP: last dragonbreak also occured in a tower
  • 05:12:58: ShawnCognitionCP: Made possible by the tower
  • 05:13:05: Jr seriel: Wait, time to go back to what you said earlier. There is no such things as absolute certainties.
  • 05:13:25: Jr seriel: That is really important to have clarified here.
  • 05:13:55: Jr seriel: And perhaps not, It is a gamplay nightmare for them to focus on the next thalmor imperial war
  • 05:14:03: ShawnCognitionCP: Movie director; "We spent this movie setting up the fued between Rambo and Tyn, it will certainly be a spectacle when they fight on screen" Seriel; "It's not a certainty they'll fight ;/ "
  • 05:14:20: ShawnCognitionCP: Not Thalmor/Imperial, that's done and over.
  • 05:14:28: Jr seriel: There will be another threat similar to every other TES game most likely, and it will have tie ins to the bigger conflicts, like every game before it
  • 05:14:32: Jr seriel: possible
  • 05:14:39: ShawnCognitionCP: It'd be all independent leaderships vs Thalmor.
  • 05:14:53: ShawnCognitionCP: I'm not posting opinions or viewpoints.
  • 05:15:02: ShawnCognitionCP: I'm posting the exact point of Skyrim's existence in the first place.
  • 05:15:14: Jr seriel: The point of skyrim was to make bethesdsa money?
  • 05:15:49: Jr seriel: Last time I checked todd howard has not mentioned landfall
  • 05:16:02: Jr seriel: so that director refence has no hold here
  • 05:16:48: Jr seriel: There is also no certainty that there will even be another TES game, it is extremely likely but not certain
  • 05:17:37: ShawnCognitionCP: They've specifically stated they're waiting for the next console generation to make a new engine for their next TES title.
  • 05:17:54: ShawnCognitionCP: And each and every detail of Skyrim is made specifically to build up the anti-Landfall Thalmor conflict
  • 05:17:57: Jr seriel: The next console generation has been here for awhile
  • 05:18:05: ShawnCognitionCP: >>>>NEXT
  • 05:18:18: ShawnCognitionCP: This is the /current/ console generation.
  • 05:18:23: ShawnCognitionCP: Next implies after, yes?
  • 05:18:54: Jr seriel: Well since Skyrim was released on the previous generation of game consoles. the next would be the current yes.
  • 05:19:14: ShawnCognitionCP: Their statement as to "waiting for the next generation" is about two months old.
  • 05:19:16: Jr seriel: Depends on when whoever you are referencing said what that
  • 05:19:20: Jr seriel: Well then
  • 05:19:42: Jr seriel: Also the next gen is basically here. The xbox one x is almost here and the ps4 pro is basically here too
  • 05:19:57: ShawnCognitionCP: Neither of those are next generation.
  • 05:20:00: ShawnCognitionCP: Those are current generation.
  • 05:20:09: ShawnCognitionCP: They are different editions of pre-existing consoles, not new consoles.
  • 05:20:12: ShawnCognitionCP: Light upgrades.
  • 05:20:25: Jr seriel: Generation of consoles is relative to architecture
  • 05:20:36: ShawnCognitionCP: I do not think you know what architecture means.
  • 05:20:51: Jr seriel: I don't think you know what architecture means
  • 05:20:51: ShawnCognitionCP: Generations of consoles are labeled in terms of the technology at hand.
  • 05:21:00: Jr seriel: computer architecture*
  • 05:21:13: Jr seriel: which is the technology that is at hand
  • 05:21:16: ShawnCognitionCP: ar·chi·tec·ture ˈärkəˌtek(t)SHər/Submit noun 1. the art or practice of designing and constructing buildings.
  • 05:21:22: Jr seriel: omg
  • 05:21:34: Jr seriel: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Computer_architecture
  • 05:21:44: Jr seriel: dont mean to cite wiki but it was the first result
  • 05:21:55: ShawnCognitionCP: yes, notice the fact you said architecture by itself and only corrected yourself after I corrected your initial statement.
  • 05:22:07: ShawnCognitionCP: Notice how people only know what you mean when what you say actually reflects it.
  • 05:22:14: Jr seriel: Go to any major abet credited university and i am sure they have a computer organization and architecture class
  • 05:22:17: Jr seriel: It was implied
  • 05:22:34: Jr seriel: Obviously I am not talking about building architecture
  • 05:22:45: ShawnCognitionCP: It wasn't implied, you stated architecture alone, which is an independent field from the topic. Computer architecture must be specified.
  • 05:22:52: Jr seriel: I don't think that the TES will come out when Chautesque design makes a comback or whatever
  • 05:23:03: ShawnCognitionCP: Find one computer design class you sign up for by signing your name under the Architecture form.
  • 05:23:08: Jr seriel: Next time I will be explicetely clear
  • 05:23:42: ShawnCognitionCP: Regardless, console generations are labelled and defined things. They are not subjective.
  • 05:23:54: ShawnCognitionCP: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Eighth_generation_of_video_game_consoles
  • 05:24:05: ShawnCognitionCP: Next Generation does not include "PS4 Pro"
  • 05:24:11: ShawnCognitionCP: It would instead be, say, "PS5"
  • 05:24:21: ShawnCognitionCP: It has to be a major jump in technology from the predecessors.
  • 05:24:30: ShawnCognitionCP: Capable of running programs the previous console could not.
  • 05:24:43: ShawnCognitionCP: Neither the Xbox One X nor PS4 Pro is such an upgrade.
  • 05:24:48: ShawnCognitionCP: They have slightly better specs.
  • 05:24:52: ShawnCognitionCP: Run the same exact games.
  • 05:24:57: Jr seriel: They are subjective just like generation of computing is subjective. And Moores law is slowing down so we may be in for a long wait
  • 05:25:14: Jr seriel: Granted generation of gaming distinctions are mostly marketing schemes
  • 05:25:20: ShawnCognitionCP: They aren't subjective, they are defined. I just posted a defined list of the eighth generation.
  • 05:25:31: ShawnCognitionCP: No one can say "This is this generation" because they want.
  • 05:25:36: ShawnCognitionCP: Said generations are bordered.
  • 05:25:41: Jr seriel: I read it, but it is baseless
  • 05:25:46: ShawnCognitionCP: There is a correct answer as to what belongs in what generation.
  • 05:25:51: ShawnCognitionCP: >I don't like it so it's baseless
  • 05:25:52: ShawnCognitionCP: lol k
  • 05:25:52: Jr seriel: They don't cite how many teraflops is needed to qualify for each generation
  • 05:26:05: Jr seriel: or any computation standards?
  • 05:26:21: Jr seriel: No IPS specifications either
  • 05:26:35: Jr seriel: That is no a correct answer?
  • 05:26:40: ShawnCognitionCP: Because it's not an exact qualification, it's instead labeled by being able to process games the previous generation could not factually handle.
  • 05:26:51: Jr seriel: It is a marketing strategy
  • 05:26:58: ShawnCognitionCP: If you take an Xbox One game that pushes the console to its limits, the Xbox 360 will not be able to play it at all.
  • 05:27:05: ShawnCognitionCP: That makes it a different generation.
  • 05:27:14: Jr seriel: they are also written entirely differnetly
  • 05:27:42: ShawnCognitionCP: No
  • 05:27:54: ShawnCognitionCP: Hence Xbox One backwards compatibility via Xbox 360 disc
  • 05:28:04: Jr seriel: And most games can be adapted to work on whatever system they are intended to
  • 05:28:15: Jr seriel: That took a lot of rewriting the games
  • 05:28:40: ShawnCognitionCP: You will absolutely not be able to play a game that pushes this generation to the limits on a last-gen console without severe downgrades.
  • 05:28:58: ShawnCognitionCP: Processing power is a myth, I guess
  • 05:29:00: Jr seriel: Of course but it is playable
  • 05:29:04: ShawnCognitionCP: Yes
  • 05:29:07: ShawnCognitionCP: But not as it is
  • 05:29:11: ShawnCognitionCP: Only with severe downgrades
  • 05:29:17: ShawnCognitionCP: Thus, not the same generation
  • 05:29:30: ShawnCognitionCP: The last generation is not capable of handling the games this generation does
  • 05:29:39: ShawnCognitionCP: That's the main separating factor.
  • 05:29:53: ShawnCognitionCP: Notice the one gaming platform that has no generations?
  • 05:29:55: ShawnCognitionCP: Computers.
  • 05:29:56: ShawnCognitionCP: Why?
  • 05:29:58: Jr seriel: The changes arent that drastic and seperated is my point
  • 05:30:04: ShawnCognitionCP: Because there's no gap in running games.
  • 05:30:10: ShawnCognitionCP: Any computer can be upgraded to run any game.
  • 05:30:14: ShawnCognitionCP: Thus, generationless.
  • 05:30:17: ShawnCognitionCP: >aren't that drastic
  • 05:30:24: ShawnCognitionCP: Yes, they are
  • 05:30:34: Jr seriel: Yes and hence why it is a marketing play rather than a computational once
  • 05:30:37: Jr seriel: one*
  • 05:30:47: Jr seriel: No they arent
  • 05:30:58: ShawnCognitionCP: Early 360 game vs early One game
  • 05:31:09: ShawnCognitionCP: Can play early 360 game on any shitty $300 laptop
  • 05:31:15: ShawnCognitionCP: On max
  • 05:31:22: ShawnCognitionCP: Without trouble
  • 05:31:27: ShawnCognitionCP: Take early One game
  • 05:31:29: Jr seriel: So then why doesn't xbox release new gpus for their xbox's then
  • 05:31:42: Jr seriel: Why do they specifically rebrand their console and sell it
  • 05:31:46: ShawnCognitionCP: Name one console in the history of home consoles that was ever modular.
  • 05:31:52: ShawnCognitionCP: /because that's not how consoles work/
  • 05:31:55: Jr seriel: Not to mention game developers have to work in the current generation's limits
  • 05:32:02: Jr seriel: Exactly!
  • 05:32:03: ShawnCognitionCP: Modifying it in any way is a breach of your user's agreement.
  • 05:32:07: Jr seriel: Exactly!
  • 05:32:16: ShawnCognitionCP: You're proving my point
  • 05:32:16: Jr seriel: Hence why it is a marketing play
  • 05:32:19: ShawnCognitionCP: If you could upgrade the specs
  • 05:32:26: ShawnCognitionCP: It won't have generations
  • 05:32:30: Jr seriel: Exactly!
  • 05:32:32: ShawnCognitionCP: because they'd be able to play any game freely
  • 05:32:35: Jr seriel: sure would
  • 05:32:50: ShawnCognitionCP: Thus proving my point that the dividing factor between generations is processing power and the capability to handle heavier software
  • 05:32:56: Jr seriel: There is a business purpose to using the "generation of gaming console' tag
  • 05:33:04: ShawnCognitionCP: Instead of "this is a very light upgrade, new generation" as you said earlier.
  • 05:33:19: ShawnCognitionCP: Console generations are also 6-8 years apart.
  • 05:33:45: Jr seriel: And my point is that you wont see another "generation" for a long time
  • 05:34:13: ShawnCognitionCP: Opposite of what you said.
  • 05:34:26: ShawnCognitionCP: You said the Ps4 Pro was next generation.
  • 05:34:39: Jr seriel: I was making the point that the idea of a generation is baseless
  • 05:34:46: Jr seriel: It could be argued
  • 05:34:47: ShawnCognitionCP: "Also the next gen is basically here. The xbox one x is almost here and the ps4 pro is basically here too"
  • 05:34:52: ShawnCognitionCP: "you won't see it for a while"
  • 05:34:56: ShawnCognitionCP: Pick 1
  • 05:35:18: Jr seriel: I would deem it next generation based on the major computation advance
  • 05:35:44: ShawnCognitionCP: That's exactly what I repeatedly said this entire time.
  • 05:35:49: ShawnCognitionCP: Processing power and capability.
  • 05:35:55: Jr seriel: They just don't want to have to go to their licensed game studios and be like hey we are going to use another console specific instruction set so have fun rewriting your game engine
  • 05:36:46: Jr seriel: But if bethesda really said that they are waiting until next gen then you wont see it for awhile. But i would argue that the next gen is already here
  • 05:37:13: Jr seriel: Its just not labeled as such due to a major marketing and deployment reason
  • 05:37:38: ShawnCognitionCP: It's not labeled that because both the Ps4 Pro and Xbox One X are severely minute upgrades worth maybe twenty dollars in separate parts.
  • 05:37:45: The Beautiful Princess Ashley: seriel just doesn't want to wait for a new TES game, so he invents definitions of next gen that brings the next TES closer
  • 05:37:52: ShawnCognitionCP: They are not capable of handling a single game the Ps4 and Xbox1 do not.
  • 05:37:56: ShawnCognitionCP: Even with upgrades.
  • 05:38:02: ShawnCognitionCP: They are not higher in potential.
  • 05:38:11: ShawnCognitionCP: They have very minute upgrades in terms of processing.
  • 05:38:12: Jr seriel: It has to do with game developemnt
  • 05:38:17: ShawnCognitionCP: The largest upgrades are memory.
  • 05:39:00: Jr seriel: The xbox one x has 6 teraflops verses xbox one's 1.3
  • 05:39:25: Jr seriel: Fortunately for your argument teraflops doesn't mean everything in game processing
  • 05:40:15: ShawnCognitionCP: The literal /only/ use for the Xbox One X is the ability to use 4k resolution, hence the usage you're pointing out
  • 05:40:19: ShawnCognitionCP: / only / *
  • 05:40:36: ShawnCognitionCP: That is not a capability increase in terms of technology.
  • 05:40:44: ShawnCognitionCP: http://www.techradar.com/news/xbox-one-x-vs-xbox-one-s-vs-xbox-one-should-you-make-the-upgrade
  • 05:41:36: Jr seriel: For now, Game companies could push the max of this new console and it would not work on the one, but are not allowed to due to their agreement with microsoft to develop for both platforms.
  • 05:41:45: ShawnCognitionCP: The entire upgrade of performance from Xbox One to Xbox One X is a 7-11% increase, 11% being the absolutely maximum increase ever recorded in any game.
  • 05:42:29: Jr seriel: Current games
  • 05:42:44: ShawnCognitionCP: And it is not capable of running a single game the Xbox One can't,
  • 05:42:59: Jr seriel: I just said, becuase of a licensing agreement with microsoft
  • 05:43:02: ShawnCognitionCP: Console generations typically have a 50-70% performance increase, lol
  • 05:43:06: ShawnCognitionCP: You're wrong
  • 05:43:14: ShawnCognitionCP: It's because it's hardly an upgrade whatsoever
  • 05:43:14: Jr seriel: lol
  • 05:43:20: ShawnCognitionCP: Just posted a source going in-depth on the topic.
  • 05:43:47: ShawnCognitionCP: Again, only true upgrade is 4k and a typical 7% increase in performance.
  • 05:43:56: Jr seriel: the techradar one?
  • 05:44:00: ShawnCognitionCP: Essentially taking a computer and putting $10 into it.
  • 05:44:06: ShawnCognitionCP: with a new monitor.
  • 05:44:18: Jr seriel: Law of diminishing returns would say it costs more than 10$
  • 05:44:32: ShawnCognitionCP: For a 7% increase in framerate?
  • 05:44:35: Jr seriel: https://www.anandtech.com/show/6972/xbox-one-hardware-compared-to-playstation-4/2
  • 05:44:39: Jr seriel: yes
  • 05:44:48: ShawnCognitionCP: Yeah, bullshit
  • 05:44:55: ShawnCognitionCP: That's normal Xbox One vs normal Ps4
  • 05:45:19: Jr seriel: Yes and the xbox one x is 6 teraflops
  • 05:45:25: ShawnCognitionCP: Simply erasing useless files and other clutter can result in a larger upgrade
  • 05:45:26: ShawnCognitionCP: yes
  • 05:45:36: ShawnCognitionCP: and the only way the system is capable of using those to its advantage is 4k
  • 05:45:39: ShawnCognitionCP: Resolution
  • 05:45:42: Jr seriel: which is somethng like 500% upgrade
  • 05:45:45: ShawnCognitionCP: Not a performance upgrade
  • 05:45:54: ShawnCognitionCP: Read the source outline
  • 05:46:01: Jr seriel: way more than 50-60% as you stated
  • 05:46:07: ShawnCognitionCP: Nigga
  • 05:46:13: ShawnCognitionCP: 50-60% in terms of /performance/
  • 05:46:16: ShawnCognitionCP: Not resolution
  • 05:46:34: ShawnCognitionCP: Being able to run more advance titles at a better pacing
  • 05:46:37: Jr seriel: I am talking about teraflops. Do i need to link the definition of teraflops and what it is measuring
  • 05:46:44: ShawnCognitionCP: Here, you see a 7% increase
  • 05:46:46: ShawnCognitionCP: I'm well aware
  • 05:46:52: ShawnCognitionCP: I posted a source going into detail on that specifically
  • 05:47:11: Jr seriel: Yes and it stated a unlocked framerate increase of current games of 7-11%
  • 05:47:11: ShawnCognitionCP: It pays off with the 4k, the Xbox One X is a minute upgrade and is even advertised as such.
  • 05:47:29: ShawnCognitionCP: It stated an overall performance upgrade of 7-11% for this generation's run
  • 05:47:36: ShawnCognitionCP: That's the most you'll ever get out of it
  • 05:47:58: Jr seriel: Based on current games!
  • 05:48:00: ShawnCognitionCP: Processing power, Ram, capability all remains the same
  • 05:48:03: ShawnCognitionCP: Based on what it can handle
  • 05:48:05: ShawnCognitionCP: This generation
  • 05:48:07: ShawnCognitionCP: Again
  • 05:48:14: ShawnCognitionCP: The fucking processing isn't different
  • 05:48:17: ShawnCognitionCP: Read either of our sources
  • 05:48:30: ShawnCognitionCP: Explaining anything to you should take nowhere near as long as it does.
  • 05:49:44: Jr seriel: First of all the xbox one x boasts a higher clock speed
  • 05:49:52: Jr seriel: I would say the same bro
  • 05:49:52: ShawnCognitionCP: The Xbox One X is compatible in terms of all specs as a mid-range computer.
  • 05:50:01: ShawnCognitionCP: Typically one you'd throw 400$ at.
  • 05:50:11: Jr seriel: Yeah I am not challenging that
  • 05:50:30: ShawnCognitionCP: The Xbox One is compatible in terms of a mid-range computer you'd throw maybe 350$ at.
  • 05:50:44: ShawnCognitionCP: It is absolutely not enough of a gap to call it a separate generation.
  • 05:50:48: Jr seriel: I am not going to go into p/p
  • 05:51:13: Jr seriel: Depends how you define computational increase
  • 05:51:14: ShawnCognitionCP: /Capability/, what I keep referencing, is not in terms of what it does not
  • 05:51:24: ShawnCognitionCP: It's what it could do if you pushed it to its absolute limits.
  • 05:51:33: ShawnCognitionCP: The maximum the system could handle.
  • 05:52:03: ShawnCognitionCP: And the only difference is one will be in 4k, running the same game with the same performance, with a possible extra 7-12 frams per second.
  • 05:52:20: ShawnCognitionCP: That is the measurable difference between the Xbox One and Xbox One X.
  • 05:52:37: Jr seriel: Using their current games
  • 05:52:59: Jr seriel: Bro this frustrating
  • 05:53:00: ShawnCognitionCP: I just explained what capability is for the fifth time to yu.
  • 05:53:02: ShawnCognitionCP: you*
  • 05:53:06: ShawnCognitionCP: Not doing it again.
  • 05:53:15: ShawnCognitionCP: Either understand English or don't.
  • 05:53:22: Jr seriel: Thank god, unfortunately that really isnt capabability
  • 05:53:32: ShawnCognitionCP: Are you joking?
  • 05:53:39: ShawnCognitionCP: That is capability by definition.
  • 05:53:49: ShawnCognitionCP: What is is *capable of doing*.
  • 05:54:02: Jr seriel: No i mean what they are doing to test it isn't really capability
  • 05:54:04: ShawnCognitionCP: And, shocker, you can test capability without running games on it at all.
  • 05:54:15: Jr seriel: Yes you can, benchmarks and what not
  • 05:54:18: ShawnCognitionCP: Stress testing software exists, as well as intensity training.
  • 05:54:25: Jr seriel: Sure does
  • 05:54:27: ShawnCognitionCP: So, we know what both consoles full capability is.
  • 05:54:41: ShawnCognitionCP: And it is not considerably better by any standard but resolution.
  • 05:54:42: Jr seriel: In that article that you linked they don't really talk about how they tested it
  • 05:54:55: ShawnCognitionCP: Nor would any source, that's typically withheld information.
  • 05:54:57: Jr seriel: ugh man disagree but I am tired
  • 05:55:08: Jr seriel: not all the time
  • 05:55:11: ShawnCognitionCP: Companies do not like to release their methods of development.
  • 05:55:18: ShawnCognitionCP: "Typically"=/=every time
  • 05:55:24: Jr seriel: some folks will reveal their stress test
  • 05:55:36: ShawnCognitionCP: I said typically.
  • 05:55:40: Jr seriel: yes typcially
  • 05:55:41: Jr seriel: sorry
  • 05:56:28: Jr seriel: I appreciate that you are interested in the topic though so kudos
  • 05:59:51: The Beautiful Princess Ashley: i'm off to play morrowind, ping me if needed
  • 06:00:09: Jr seriel: Good luck kill that vivec lamo
  • 06:01:11: Jr seriel: I get to work remotely tomorrow so I am getting a head on personal projects tonight
  • 06:11:46: KINMUNE: Hello there, HornedFrog12!
  • 06:14:33: Jr seriel: Hello
  • 06:14:42: Jr seriel: He's gone
  • 06:46:12: Jr seriel: Hey
  • 06:46:25: Jr seriel: I figured out the next mod I will make
  • 06:46:41: Jr seriel: a shehai mod
  • 07:10:17: KINMUNE: Hello there, Crvmbs!
  • 07:10:21: The Beautiful Princess Ashley: hi
  • 07:10:24: Crvmbs: Hii
  • 07:10:34: The Beautiful Princess Ashley: what's up?
  • 07:10:49: Crvmbs: Nothing much, i just joined this website.
  • 07:11:00: The Beautiful Princess Ashley: ah
  • 07:11:17: Crvmbs: i like it so far
  • 07:11:21: The Beautiful Princess Ashley: good
  • 07:11:52: Crvmbs: :)
  • 07:12:05: The Beautiful Princess Ashley: i like it here too
  • 07:12:09: Jr seriel: Me too
  • 07:12:17: The Beautiful Princess Ashley: which should be obvious, as i'm a moderator here
  • 07:12:22: Crvmbs: lol
  • 07:13:32: Crvmbs: so what do you guys usually talk about?
  • 07:13:44: Jr seriel: Well usually Shawn gets mad at me
  • 07:14:19: Jr seriel: But from sports to politics to mythology to games to what not
  • 07:14:32: Jr seriel: What made you want to join
  • 07:15:04: The Beautiful Princess Ashley: you can talk about anything here
  • 07:15:23: Crvmbs: the fact that i can interact with people who actually still play elder scrolls and aren't just waiting for tes 6
  • 07:15:42: Jr seriel: Well with in the frame of speech and guidelines set out by the chat policy
  • 07:15:56: Jr seriel: Hello
  • 07:15:57: The Beautiful Princess Ashley: they should start working on TES 6 already though
  • 07:16:02: The Beautiful Princess Ashley: it's been long enough
  • 07:16:02: The cheese lord of nirn: Wow ashley
  • 07:16:24: The Beautiful Princess Ashley: hi cheese
  • 07:16:25: Jr seriel: They actually are. I interviewed for a developer position
  • 07:16:28: Crvmbs: Seriously. I'm sick of waiting for it. i hope it's valenwood.
  • 07:16:45: The cheese lord of nirn: Ashley, I was not expecting to see that name in a reply
  • 07:16:50: The Beautiful Princess Ashley: they'd probably butcher valenwood lore. i'm personally hoping for Hammerfell
  • 07:17:00: Crvmbs: high rock would be cool
  • 07:17:04: The Beautiful Princess Ashley: aye
  • 07:17:12: Jr seriel: High rock will likely be the last game they make
  • 07:17:17: The Beautiful Princess Ashley: why?
  • 07:17:28: Jr seriel: Adamantine tower reasons
  • 07:17:32: The Beautiful Princess Ashley: true
  • 07:17:41: The cheese lord of nirn: Now if we only knew what game bethesda is releasing withing the next 2 months
  • 07:17:48: Crvmbs: i cant wait
  • 07:17:50: Jr seriel: Not to mention the series started in high rock
  • 07:18:02: The Beautiful Princess Ashley: they'll probably stop after a game doesn't sell well though, i doubt they'll plan some climax for the last game
  • 07:18:03: Jr seriel: You can expect the game around 2021
  • 07:18:08: Jr seriel: Is my best guess
  • 07:18:12: Crvmbs: ughhhh
  • 07:18:12: The Beautiful Princess Ashley: the series started in all of tamriel
  • 07:18:17: The cheese lord of nirn: More like 2070
  • 07:18:46: Jr seriel: Well disregard arena
  • 07:18:50: Crvmbs: 3054 is my best guess
  • 07:19:18: Jr seriel: Due to their big hiring initiative I'd say they are starting to work on it finally
  • 07:19:46: The cheese lord of nirn: It could be the second great war
  • 07:19:52: RenzXVI: WHy are you even expecting a sequel? Most single player games that are given an online version never go back to releasing single player games.
  • 07:19:52: Jr seriel: It won't.
  • 07:20:17: The Beautiful Princess Ashley: i'd guess they release it in the year ∞
  • 07:20:20: Jr seriel: Although it may have massive battles. At least a lot bigger than we have seen before
  • 07:20:42: Crvmbs: i just have high expectations for tes 6.
  • 07:20:57: RenzXVI: I don't have any.
  • 07:21:07: The Beautiful Princess Ashley: renz, they'll create a new single player so that they can make money off of that market once skyrim can no longer be marketed
  • 07:21:36: RenzXVI: No, they will just remaster the Skyrim remaster.
  • 07:21:42: Jr seriel: It's not just Skyrim that is being marketed though with skywind and skyblivion. Oblivion and Morrowind are being remarketed
  • 07:21:44: The Beautiful Princess Ashley: true
  • 07:22:11: Crvmbs: i agree that bethesda will keep milking skyrim, but its gotta end soon.
  • 07:22:25: The Beautiful Princess Ashley: we'll see
  • 07:22:31: Jr seriel: We will but not for awhile
  • 07:22:41: The Beautiful Princess Ashley: aye
  • 07:23:04: The Beautiful Princess Ashley: KINMUNE, will we ever see a new TES game?
  • 07:23:06: KINMUNE: Not even remotely.
  • 07:23:09: Jr seriel: Hahaha
  • 07:23:13: Crvmbs: haha
  • 07:23:19: The Beautiful Princess Ashley: that sucks
  • 07:23:29: Jr seriel: The all knowing chat boot
  • 07:23:39: Jr seriel: Bot
  • 07:23:42: The Beautiful Princess Ashley: KINMUNE, are you all knowing?
  • 07:23:44: KINMUNE: Ask SuperSajuuk, he probably knows.
  • 07:23:59: Crvmbs: okay then
  • 07:24:00: The Beautiful Princess Ashley: sure, i'll ask him if i see him
  • 07:24:57: Jr seriel: KINMUNE, where is SuperSajuuk?
  • 07:24:59: KINMUNE: I'll get back to you on that one.
  • 07:25:06: Jr seriel: Darn
  • 07:25:57: Jr seriel: Btw if I don't see someones message don't be mad I am not ignoring you. My phone is weird
  • 07:26:35: The Beautiful Princess Ashley: nah, i'll just assume you hate me
  • 07:27:31: Jr seriel: Well you do what you have to
  • 07:29:14: Jr seriel: So crumbs, weigh in on something for me
  • 07:29:23: Crvmbs: okay
  • 07:30:38: Jr seriel: Could ysmir/wuhlfar reappear to the last dragonborn? Do you think that could be possible
  • 07:31:14: Crvmbs: yeah, i think it could.
  • 07:31:19: The Beautiful Princess Ashley: wulfharth has reappeared several times throughout TES lore, so i suppose so
  • 07:31:38: Jr seriel: But it would be fitting for him to reappear to the last dragonborn ever right?
  • 07:32:08: Crvmbs: yeah
  • 07:32:15: The Beautiful Princess Ashley: i guess
  • 07:32:16: Jr seriel: Yeah I think so too
  • 07:32:27: The Beautiful Princess Ashley: he doesn't though
  • 07:32:47: Jr seriel: Well he reappeared to Tiber, and to the greybeards seems fitting to come back to the last dragonbron
  • 07:32:56: Jr seriel: Well not in canon he doesnt
  • 07:33:01: The Beautiful Princess Ashley: he doesn't appear anywhere in skyrim, and it makes little sense for him to appear after the Dovahkiin is Hermaeus Mora's slave
  • 07:33:24: Jr seriel: Especially if you believe that he is locked in his realhm for eternity
  • 07:33:36: Jr seriel: and you leaving is doing your thing is all a trick
  • 07:34:06: The Beautiful Princess Ashley: the Dovahkiin is not stuck in apocrypha. you can leave after killing miraak.
  • 07:34:34: Jr seriel: Yes but some folks believe that since he trapped miraak he makes statements to you that you are now trapped in his place
  • 07:34:39: Jr seriel: But yet you leave
  • 07:34:46: Crvmbs: (Sorry if im slow to respond im writing something)
  • 07:34:55: Jr seriel: So makes you wonder if you actually do leave at all
  • 07:35:00: Jr seriel: What are you writing?
  • 07:35:24: The Beautiful Princess Ashley: you do leave
  • 07:35:30: Jr seriel: Yes but do you?
  • 07:35:33: Crvmbs: story, its a secret to all
  • 07:35:34: The Beautiful Princess Ashley: yes
  • 07:36:37: Jr seriel: Could be a trick from Mora
  • 07:37:03: Jr seriel: Like the ultimate virtual reality
  • 07:37:21: Jr seriel: The illusion of leaving and living your life when in reality you are just stuck there
  • 07:37:37: The Beautiful Princess Ashley: could be
  • 07:37:41: Jr seriel: Kind of like the matrix acrually
  • 07:37:48: Jr seriel: Could be yes
  • 07:40:09: Jr seriel: I am intrigued about this ysmir coming back possibility
  • 07:41:01: Jr seriel: Especially since he turned hjalti invincible kind of
  • 07:42:51: The Beautiful Princess Ashley: i don't think it'll happen though
  • 07:44:32: Jr seriel: Why not ?
  • 07:45:18: Jr seriel: Paarthanax even said that dovahs story had a long way to go even after you banished alduin
  • 07:46:55: The Beautiful Princess Ashley: aye, but after that, you go on to become herma-mora's slave
  • 07:47:36: Jr seriel: How so
  • 07:51:19: The Beautiful Princess Ashley: have you played the dragonborn add-on?
  • 07:52:00: Jr seriel: Yes
  • 07:52:07: Jr seriel: But like 5 years ago
  • 07:54:27: The Beautiful Princess Ashley: at the end, you take miraak's place and essentially become a slave to herma-mora
  • 07:54:37: Jr seriel: yes so?
  • 07:54:57: Jr seriel: but miraak was trapped there. You aren't
  • 07:55:06: The Beautiful Princess Ashley: true
  • 07:55:19: Jr seriel: And what do you do that shows that you are his slave now?
  • 07:55:32: The Beautiful Princess Ashley: but why would Wulfharth take interest in a pathetic slave?
  • 07:56:04: The Beautiful Princess Ashley: the dialogue at the end chearly shows you're taking miraak's place. miraak was a slave to herma-mora
  • 07:56:07: Jr seriel: Because you are still the last dragonborn
  • 07:56:18: The Beautiful Princess Ashley: clearly*
  • 07:56:59: Jr seriel: But you go do your own thing as if you werent mora's slave immediately after
  • 07:57:36: Jr seriel: Ugh I need to count the bandit references for Blizzard like I promised
  • 07:58:28: Jr seriel: I never liked that ending though, it seemed like some little kid said to me "YOU ARE MINE NOW DO MY BIDDING" and then you just say nah and walk out
  • 07:58:49: Jr seriel: And he didn't stop you
  • 08:01:58: The Beautiful Princess Ashley: whether you like it or not is irrelevant. it is canon.
  • 08:03:30: Jr seriel: Yes just doesn't seem like it really happened
  • 08:04:40: Jr seriel: Like I said before unless you really get trapped there like miraak and mora doesnt make the mistake of letting miraak keep his own mind so he takes control of yours this time so you don't rebel like miraak did
  • 08:05:00: The Beautiful Princess Ashley: that's an interesting theory
  • 08:06:47: Jr seriel: Holy christmas, there is over 500 bandits in Skyrim
  • 08:07:36: The Beautiful Princess Ashley: there's infinite bandits in skyrim
  • 08:07:39: The Beautiful Princess Ashley: they respawn
  • 08:08:12: Jr seriel: Yes I mean at any given one point though specifically at the game start
  • 08:08:52: The Beautiful Princess Ashley: why are you even looking into this?
  • 08:09:15: Jr seriel: Someone asked on the forums
  • 08:09:36: Jr seriel: Blizzard
  • 08:10:18: The Beautiful Princess Ashley: ok
  • 08:10:47: The Beautiful Princess Ashley: can't blizzard do it himself?
  • 08:11:40: Jr seriel: I'll assume he could
  • 08:12:10: Jr seriel: after counting there is 714
  • 08:13:22: Jr seriel: But I dont think that is just the physical count of each bandit reference
  • 08:13:30: Jr seriel: so Not so sure how true that is
  • 08:13:39: Jr seriel: plus there were some bandit dogs in there
  • 08:13:43: Jr seriel: so ~700
  • 08:14:30: The Beautiful Princess Ashley: why does he even care?
  • 08:14:48: Jr seriel: No idea, didn't ask
  • 08:22:29: The Beautiful Princess Ashley: you're just doing it for no reason?
  • 08:25:07: Jr seriel: No he asked me to do it so I obliged
  • 08:25:29: Jr seriel: well didn't ask me particularly. He asked to forum
  • 08:25:35: Jr seriel: *the
  • 08:27:07: The Beautiful Princess Ashley: and you didn't ask why he wanted to know before doing it?
  • 08:27:33: Jr seriel: no, it wasn't really any bother it took like 2 minutes
  • 08:28:20: Jr seriel: It had something to do with how it would be strange to have a place with more villany bandits than good NPC's
  • 08:30:03: The Beautiful Princess Ashley: aye
  • 08:30:28: The Beautiful Princess Ashley: there are infinite bandits though, but i guess there are also infinite guards
  • 08:31:04: Jr seriel: or stormcloaks and imperials yes
  • 08:31:43: Jr seriel: That is why i had to clarify with him that we would have to capture an instance of the game because they are spawned dyanmically based on what the PC is doing
  • 08:33:40: Jr seriel: is there a draugr companion in skyrim?
  • 08:37:54: The Beautiful Princess Ashley: no
  • 08:38:54: Jr seriel: Wuhlfath would look like a draugr aye?
  • 08:44:59: The Beautiful Princess Ashley: i think so
  • 08:47:12: Jr seriel: But not a dragon priest right? he would walk around and stab folks instead of blast them with magic and float
  • 08:49:04: The Beautiful Princess Ashley: aye
  • 08:49:14: The Beautiful Princess Ashley: i don't think he was ever a priest
  • 08:50:05: Jr seriel: Yeah me neither. Good I figured out what and how I am gonna do it. I just need the method for him coming back now
  • 08:50:36: Jr seriel: Why would he come back and want to help the dragonborn with their endeavors. I will ponder this
  • 08:55:28: Jr seriel: Alright I am off I gotta get up and fix peoples bugs and do some complaincy review so au revoir
  • 09:01:27: High Goddess Venus-Afrodite-Finelia: ello o/ :D
  • 09:04:06: The Beautiful Princess Ashley: hi
  • 09:05:39: Jr seriel: wait i am back for alittle
  • 09:05:45: Jr seriel: hello Venus
  • 09:07:02: High Goddess Venus-Afrodite-Finelia: sup :3
  • 09:07:39: The Beautiful Princess Ashley: nm, listening to music
  • 09:07:42: The Beautiful Princess Ashley: you?
  • 09:07:54: High Goddess Venus-Afrodite-Finelia: same :3
  • 09:08:37: High Goddess Venus-Afrodite-Finelia: my mod has a dragon priest companion and it summonable :3
  • 09:08:57: High Goddess Venus-Afrodite-Finelia: I can summon 2 dragon priests at the same time :D
  • 09:09:23: Jr seriel: very cool
  • 09:09:33: High Goddess Venus-Afrodite-Finelia: yep :D
  • 09:09:49: Jr seriel: Is it on nexus?
  • 09:10:17: High Goddess Venus-Afrodite-Finelia: I use workshop :P
  • 09:10:30: High Goddess Venus-Afrodite-Finelia: also the duration of the summon is like 9999999999999 minutes
  • 09:10:39: The Beautiful Princess Ashley: fin has mods for pretty much everything
  • 09:10:41: High Goddess Venus-Afrodite-Finelia: so you have to desummon them
  • 09:10:46: High Goddess Venus-Afrodite-Finelia: yeh xD
  • 09:11:28: Jr seriel: Did you make it fin
  • 09:11:30: Jr seriel: ?
  • 09:11:52: High Goddess Venus-Afrodite-Finelia: nope :P
  • 09:12:02: Jr seriel: aww
  • 09:16:28: Jr seriel: who would win in a fight?
  • 09:16:35: Jr seriel: Vivec or Wulfharth?
  • 09:16:59: The Beautiful Princess Ashley: vivec
  • 09:17:03: Jr seriel: Yeah vivec
  • 09:17:03: The Beautiful Princess Ashley: he has CHIM
  • 09:17:10: Jr seriel: Pre CHIM though
  • 09:18:47: Jr seriel: for some reason dunmer remind me of ancient greeks
  • 09:24:16: The Beautiful Princess Ashley: pre-CHIM, Wulfharth would win
  • 09:24:33: RenzXVI: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pwYNRLsk3t0
  • 09:24:36: KINMUNE: Skyrim Battles - The Ebony Warrior vs The Dark Brotherhood [Master Settings]
  • 09:24:42: The Beautiful Princess Ashley: then again, i'm not sure whether Vivec had godhood through the heart yet
  • 09:29:08: RenzXVI: I am a big fan of The Ebony Warrior vs ______ videos, it makes me realize and appreciate how powerful he is even though I'm one of the people who can kill him very easily using a dozen different tactics.
  • 09:33:46: RenzXVI: I didn't even know he has 50% immunity to frost, fire, shock and poison when I fought him. And he reflects the effect of the Mehrunes' Razor.
  • 09:35:51: RenzXVI: wait, what, his gear increases frost fire and shock by 50%? That means he is totally immune to them then? O_o
  • 09:36:13: Jr seriel: There is a theory that he is the hero from TES Legends
  • 09:36:49: RenzXVI: THat doesn't even include his 40% regen armor and 25 point vampire sword.
  • 09:37:21: Jr seriel: I thought he was really easy when I killed him
  • 09:38:13: Jr seriel: I think I just used a lot of fortify one handed enchantments and miraaks sword. and then I did slow time and that was basically it
  • 09:39:29: Jr seriel: I have been wondering, How did Mankar Cameron become dragonborn. He was an altmer?
  • 09:39:37: RenzXVI: I often helped people out who thought he was hard. But most of my techniques involved outsmarting him before the fight even begins or a tactic where he could barely fight you.
  • 09:40:08: RenzXVI: I could literally think of a dozen ways to easily kill him. But when I tried to melee him fair and square, I couldn't win regardless of how many times I tried.
  • 09:40:27: Jr seriel: That is really surprising
  • 09:40:29: RenzXVI: I was normally an archer mage.
  • 09:40:59: Jr seriel: Slow time and the 20% more damage enchantment on one handed attacks with like 4 different peices with that enchantment did it
  • 09:41:01: RenzXVI: Why? By fair and square, I mean you just hack and slash, no tricks and no outsmarting him.
  • 09:41:15: Jr seriel: do enchantments count as tricks?
  • 09:41:21: RenzXVI: Well yeah.
  • 09:41:28: Jr seriel: then I wouldn't know
  • 09:41:32: Jr seriel: lol
  • 09:41:35: RenzXVI: I literally tried to match everything he has.
  • 09:41:55: The Beautiful Princess Ashley: i've never even fought him
  • 09:41:58: RenzXVI: Well, not the exact enchantments.
  • 09:42:04: The Beautiful Princess Ashley: leveling to that point is too boring for me
  • 09:42:19: RenzXVI: I just used the armor I looted that's a closest match to his.
  • 09:42:33: RenzXVI: I've grinded to reach a high level really early in the game.
  • 09:42:43: Jr seriel: Yeah me too especially for smithing like most did
  • 09:42:56: Jr seriel: The revenge of the iron daggers
  • 09:43:33: RenzXVI: MOst people say the toughest enemy in Skyrim is The Ebony Warrior and Karstaag, I killed both of them easily and had to reload to see if they are really tough. I only heard that they were tough after I beat them. XD
  • 09:43:56: Jr seriel: Yeah same here
  • 09:44:28: RenzXVI: I'd agree Karstaag is harder to beat than TEW, but I actually did way less effort for Karstaag. Almost 0% effort, actually.
  • 09:44:37: RenzXVI: I had 12 followers at the time.
  • 09:44:45: Jr seriel: What how?
  • 09:46:04: RenzXVI: Serana, a Steadfast Dwarven Sphere, 2 Dead Thralls (Orchendor and Sild the Warlock) 5 scroll spiders and 3 Rieklings. That doesn't include whatever Serana and the deadthralls can conjure/resurrect.
  • 09:46:27: RenzXVI: I summon more spiders when they die.
  • 09:47:04: Jr seriel: oh
  • 09:47:28: Jr seriel: I think I just went in again with all of my enchantments and did the same thing slow time and mash
  • 09:48:04: RenzXVI: I just let that small army kill him by themselves, I helped them from time to time because Karstaag has a lot of life.
  • 09:48:11: RenzXVI: I mostly just healed them.
  • 09:49:03: Jr seriel: Reminds me of a WOW play style
  • 09:49:24: RenzXVI: It's funny, I got annoyed with having so many minions right after my fight with Karstaag.
  • 09:49:45: RenzXVI: If I let them all lose before Karstaag, I wouldn't have needed to reload a save just to try fighting him fairly.
  • 09:50:07: RenzXVI: loose*
  • 09:50:07: Jr seriel: Are you able to wear the Amulet o Kings in Oblvion?
  • 09:50:13: Jr seriel: I can't remember
  • 09:50:46: The Beautiful Princess Ashley: no
  • 09:50:58: Jr seriel: hmmm interesting
  • 09:51:15: The Beautiful Princess Ashley: only uriel, martin and mankar camoran ever wear it
  • 09:51:30: The Beautiful Princess Ashley: if you try to put it on, it'll slip from your neck
  • 09:52:00: Jr seriel: is that what is says
  • 09:52:13: The Beautiful Princess Ashley: yes
  • 09:52:53: Jr seriel: Weird anyway I am off this time. GN
  • 09:53:26: The Beautiful Princess Ashley: gn
  • 11:42:20: RenzXVI: Hey Ashley, our president is in Japan now. He said on the news that he's going to find you and pick you up.
  • 11:44:50: The Beautiful Princess Ashley: how does he know of my heroin use?
  • 11:44:57: RenzXVI: lol
  • 11:46:39: The Beautiful Princess Ashley: anyway, why is he here?
  • 11:46:52: RenzXVI: I forgot.
  • 11:46:59: RenzXVI: But I might not have known in the first place.
  • 11:47:05: The Beautiful Princess Ashley: lol
  • 12:00:09: The Beautiful Princess Ashley: hi
  • 12:00:14: Jr seriel: Hello
  • 12:07:01: Jr seriel: What happened to ebony Skyrim
  • 12:07:08: Jr seriel: The user ?
  • 12:07:59: RenzXVI: Retired.
  • 12:08:04: RenzXVI: She was admin.
  • 12:08:10: Jr seriel: Any particular reason ?
  • 12:08:19: RenzXVI: I don't really know.
  • 12:08:55: RenzXVI: She was like 50 years old or something back then XD
  • 12:12:12: The Beautiful Princess Ashley: ebony was before my time
  • 12:18:12: Jr seriel: Was she cool?
  • 12:18:28: RenzXVI: No idea I just heard stuff about back then.
  • 12:18:43: RenzXVI: But there was like 3 female admins then so that's cool.
  • 12:21:45: The Beautiful Princess Ashley: we currently have only 3 female staff members, myself included. we need more.
  • 12:22:08: Jr seriel: Do we know how many page requests the forums get ?
  • 12:22:23: The Beautiful Princess Ashley: page requests?
  • 12:22:48: Jr seriel: I know that the wikia it self gets around 20 million a month
  • 12:23:37: Jr seriel: Yes internet traffic?
  • 12:23:41: The Beautiful Princess Ashley: oh
  • 12:23:43: The Beautiful Princess Ashley: idk
  • 12:23:50: RenzXVI: http://elderscrolls.wikia.com/wiki/Special:Statistics
  • 12:23:57: RenzXVI: Oh, I think it isn't there.
  • 12:27:05: Jr seriel: Thank you that . It's less than 10k a month
  • 12:35:01: Jr seriel: Are you guys active on any other TES forums ?
  • 12:35:12: RenzXVI: NOpe.
  • 12:35:37: RenzXVI: I am active on other wikis and I sometimes wiki hop.
  • 12:35:48: Jr seriel: Like uesp
  • 12:36:10: RenzXVI: No, I mean wikis on wikia.
  • 12:36:16: Jr seriel: Ohh
  • 12:37:14: Jr seriel: You don't post on the teslore sub Reddit or the Bethesda forum?
  • 12:37:25: Jr seriel: Do some folks here do?
  • 12:37:25: RenzXVI: No
  • 12:38:03: The Beautiful Princess Ashley: i'm only active here
  • 12:38:30: Jr seriel: Any particular reason for the exclusivity
  • 12:39:11: RenzXVI: I quit 47 other chats I am on 6 months ago.
  • 12:39:37: RenzXVI: And then I gradually decreased the left overs.
  • 12:39:49: RenzXVI: That includes websites and forums etc.
  • 12:39:52: Jr seriel: 47 chats ? All at once
  • 12:40:22: RenzXVI: I am not really sure, most of them were servers on discord but I do check all messages when I log in.
  • 12:40:53: RenzXVI: Sadly, 3 of them were servers I made and I am not active there anymore. XD
  • 12:41:25: Jr seriel: Are they still active in your absence ?
  • 12:41:40: RenzXVI: Yeah, specially the one for here.
  • 12:41:54: RenzXVI: People even thought of making it the official wiki discord server.
  • 12:42:01: RenzXVI: But everyone disliked the idea, even me. XD
  • 12:42:16: Jr seriel: How come ?
  • 12:42:37: RenzXVI: It's going to be more work and a lot of other reasons.
  • 12:43:15: The Beautiful Princess Ashley: they wanted the chat mods to moderate it, but i don't want to do that
  • 12:43:49: Jr seriel: Moderate the discord server ?
  • 12:44:02: The Beautiful Princess Ashley: i signed up for moderating chat, not for moderating discord
  • 12:44:03: RenzXVI: Yeah
  • 12:44:54: Jr seriel: So who's idea was it ?
  • 12:45:05: RenzXVI: What do you mean idea?
  • 12:45:13: The Beautiful Princess Ashley: idk, probably not a chat mod
  • 12:45:13: RenzXVI: TO make the server or make it official?
  • 12:45:21: Jr seriel: Both?
  • 12:45:34: RenzXVI: I made it. I think Qahnaarin wanted it official.
  • 12:46:58: Jr seriel: So it was your idea then? What made you want to have a separate discord chat?
  • 12:47:39: RenzXVI: It was a back up for when this one fails.
  • 12:47:53: Jr seriel: Does this one fail?
  • 12:48:04: RenzXVI: Which is funny it's brought up now because my other back up is down.
  • 12:48:10: RenzXVI: Yeah, this one is really buggy.
  • 12:48:19: RenzXVI: Buggiest chat I've seen in my life.
  • 12:49:10: Jr seriel: So in your opinion, how important is this chat to the site ?
  • 12:49:43: RenzXVI: 20%
  • 12:50:17: Jr seriel: And the other breakdown ?
  • 12:50:42: RenzXVI: What do you mean?
  • 12:51:01: Jr seriel: What is the other 80%
  • 12:51:38: RenzXVI: The 80% is that chat is not that important?
  • 12:51:51: The Beautiful Princess Ashley: the mainspace is obviously the most important
  • 12:52:05: RenzXVI: Yeah.
  • 12:52:19: Jr seriel: So what is important is what I am asking then ?
  • 12:52:36: RenzXVI: The mainspace.
  • 12:52:49: The Beautiful Princess Ashley: the chat, forums and /d are only important if they contribute to improving the mainspace
  • 12:52:50: Jr seriel: Meaning?
  • 12:53:08: RenzXVI: Wikis are for articles. So edits in the mainspace are what's needed.
  • 12:53:17: RenzXVI: Chat can be handy for talking about editing sometimes.
  • 12:53:18: The Beautiful Princess Ashley: the part of the wiki that has all the articles is called the mainspace
  • 12:53:23: RenzXVI: Or monthly meetings.
  • 12:53:34: Jr seriel: Got it
  • 12:53:43: The Beautiful Princess Ashley: or for attracting new potential editors
  • 12:53:49: Jr seriel: Ashley is this true for you too?
  • 12:54:01: The Beautiful Princess Ashley: is what true for me?
  • 12:54:04: RenzXVI: There was a time chat was barely useful. There was even a time chat became a problem and people got into fights with each other. XD
  • 12:54:24: The Beautiful Princess Ashley: i'd say chat is barely useful atm
  • 12:54:32: RenzXVI: I mean there was a time chat was barely used.
  • 12:54:36: RenzXVI: Sorta like now.
  • 12:55:12: Jr seriel: I am not really saying is it useful or not I mean more is how important is it for you regarding coming back to this site day in and day out ?
  • 12:55:40: RenzXVI: I am here so I have company while I do other stuff.
  • 12:55:41: The Beautiful Princess Ashley: i come here specifically for this chat
  • 12:56:10: The Beautiful Princess Ashley: but my edits tend to be garbage, so i'm not much use to the wiki
  • 12:56:22: RenzXVI: Oh. well, I am mostly here for chat but I check the wiki a lot.
  • 12:56:32: Jr seriel: Haha don't out yourself down I am sure they are helpful in there own way
  • 12:56:39: Jr seriel: *put
  • 12:57:58: The Beautiful Princess Ashley: my recent edits to morrowind quest articles were good, but before that, everyone always had to correct all the stuff i did
  • 12:58:19: Jr seriel: Well at least you are improving aye?
  • 12:58:32: The Beautiful Princess Ashley: true
  • 12:59:25: The Beautiful Princess Ashley: at one point, someone asked me to make basic articles for about 200 characters from a online dlc, and i put them all in the wrong categories
  • 12:59:35: The Beautiful Princess Ashley: took everyone hours to fix
  • 13:00:25: Jr seriel: You learn more from your mistakes than your fortunes
  • 13:01:03: RenzXVI: I've made a lot of mistakes too that people had to change.
  • 13:01:14: Jr seriel: See
  • 13:01:21: RenzXVI: Like adding dots at the end of sentences in lists... Apparently, they aren't needed. XD
  • 13:02:43: Jr seriel: They are not
  • 13:07:42: The Beautiful Princess Ashley: that's not as bad as putting 200 characters in the wrong categories though
  • 13:08:02: RenzXVI: I did quite a lot, but yeah, definitely not near 200.
  • 13:08:07: RenzXVI: BUt I did other mistakes.
  • 13:08:41: RenzXVI: Categories was never a thing I liked, so until now, I've never really categorized stuff on a wiki.
  • 13:19:03: RenzXVI: Need to sleep now. Byebye

  • 22:14:03: The Crusader of Truth: o
  • 22:57:25: Jr seriel: Does house indoril still exist?
  • 22:58:13: The Crusader of Truth: I don't believe so
  • 22:58:52: Jr seriel: Did they disappear?
  • 22:59:40: Nekyn Alb: They became unimportant and something happened
  • 23:00:03: Jr seriel: How is the house of the famed nerevar unimportant?
  • 23:34:58: Jr seriel: I looked it up, had to do with resisting empire rulership
  • 23:36:34: Jr seriel: Why is there a kjaiit looking fella on their banner though?
  • 23:38:16: Nekyn Alb: A wolf, they also have wings as symbols
  • 23:38:17: Jr seriel: The house got absorbed dissident priests thus the new temple
  • 23:38:33: Jr seriel: Any particular reason for the wolf?
  • 23:39:01: Jr seriel: King Helsenth's crest
  • 23:39:05: Jr seriel: FIgured it out
  • 23:39:58: Jr seriel: Wait technically house indoril used the wolf before king helseth so I wonder where the house got it from
  • 23:40:22: Jr seriel: It is clear the King Helseth adopted to represent the nevarinne and his glory
  • 23:43:50: Jr seriel: Seems to me that house indoril could have split off at somepoint and it hiding out somehwere and they view the dissident priests as traitors to the house
  • 23:47:11: The Crusader of Truth: >In Daggerfall, you can rob monsters like Dreugh and it's illegal
  • 23:48:15: Jr seriel: I think bethesda intended the Dreugh to be similar to other races
  • 23:48:24: Jr seriel: Not a creature
  • 23:49:36: Jr seriel: Too bad they didn't keep that system in the modern games would be pretty cool to rob from mud crabs and then have them set a bounty on you and have a gang of mud crabs come find and try to kill you
  • 23:54:09: The Crusader of Truth: Well, you can rob anything
  • 23:54:12: The Crusader of Truth: Including ghosts
  • 23:54:26: The Crusader of Truth: Which is dank but shouldnt be illegal
  • 23:54:45: The Crusader of Truth: Also, they are intended to be creatures
  • 23:55:31: Jr seriel: Aren't dreughs descendants of argonians
  • 23:57:37: The Crusader of Truth: It's debated
  • 23:58:01: The Crusader of Truth: http://elderscrolls.wikia.com/wiki/Notes_on_Racial_Phylogeny if you want to know more
  • 23:58:20: Jr seriel: I will thank you
  • 23:59:03: The Crusader of Truth: The creatures theirselves are hunted and used for materials, and they don't have a humaniod leg system, so it's really unlikely they were ever any form of civilized creature from what I know
