In a recent post on Bethesda Softwork's twitter account @Bethblog, the ESRB has "advised" them that they have given The Elder Scrolls Online a mature rating, despite Zenimax's desire to have the game rated teen. In the post, they say that "While we may disagree with ESRB's determination, we do not plan to challenge the rating, and we are unwilling to change the game's content to acheive a different rating." and acting accordingly, they will be adding the appropriate age gates as well as updating videos and advertisements to reflect the rating. Also in a news page update, Zenimax Online has released a new video of a developer play session encompassing group PVE (Player vs. Environment) content, featuring commentary from Creative Director Paul Sage, Lead Gameplay Designer Nick Konkle, and Dungeon Lead Dan Grenshaw.
