In exciting news, today Bethesda have officially announced a new elder scrolls game is in the works.
Little is known at this time, however, once more comes to light, we will update you.
Here's what we know so far:
First of all, this game will be released EXCLUSIVELY on the Oculus Rift. The reason for this is that Bethesda's owners, Zenimax, have a wonderful relationship with this company. (As an example, see this article from Polygon.
Secondly, we know that Bethesda are going back to their roots somewhat. Their best game in the series to date is Morrowind, so they are going to feature animations from this game. To this end, They excitedly confirmed earlier today, they will be hiring renowned animator Lapri Lofos, (Who I have written about previously), to lead the animation, as well as the entire team from Mass Effect: Andromeda, to create efficient and modern animations.
