New Arena Image templates[edit source]

I noticed that you have been adding a TON of images from arena. And we are extremely great-full of this. One tiny problem we ask you fix is adding them to there correct image category's. While they are screenshots they are also maps. We just created the template for the arena images so please use them if you are going to add any more.

Simply add the required template next to the screen shot template from now on.

  • {{ArenaMapImages}}
  • {{ArenaLocationImages}}
  • {{ArenaCharacterImages}}
  • {{ArenaCreatureImages}}

Hope this helps, sorry if we are a little late creating these. if you need anything please feel free to ask.

Cheatcodechamp (talk) 06:14, June 21, 2012 (UTC)

Hey again,

The images you are uploading are considered maps, not locations, a location would be the Dungeons inside the towns and caves.

Thanks for helping with Arena {C}Cheatcodechamp (talk) 03:40, June 22, 2012 (UTC)

Re:Stonehills[edit source]

No worries, mate. If you're curious about setting up disambiguations, check out this help guide I wrote on them: The Elder Scrolls Wiki:Disambiguation. --—Deyvid Petteys (bother \ stalk) 04:34, June 23, 2012 (UTC)

Great job[edit source]

You are like a machine! Super work on the Arena stuff, we really appreciate your help!

Morrowind Locations Category[edit source]

That's correct, the "Morrowind Locations" category should not include those in The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind. "Morrowind Locations", "Skyrim Locations" are only for what appears in TES: Arena. —TombRaiser SPEAK! 05:38, June 24, 2012 (UTC)

Stop deleting[edit source]

Stop deleting all my posts, if you are using a bot (and we both know you are), ask an admin what you need to do to create a bot account and don't just delete this because I will keep on writing it.

Removal of talk page comments[edit source]

Please be aware that our talk page policy dictates that comments should not be removed from a talk page unless they are blatant spam or vandalism. Harassment or hate speech could be removed, but must be done with discretion. It does not appear that removing Balagog's comments was founded. Please be aware of this for the future. Thank you. --—Deyvid Petteys (bother \ stalk) 07:30, June 25, 2012 (UTC)

Balagog is making these accusations based on the assertion that he knows you personally (assumedly offline) and that your edits are too close together to be done without automatic or even semit-automatic editing software. Even browser bound software such as AutoWikiBrowser need to be flagged as a bot account, before they can be used on Wikia. That's a site-wide policy, not just one used here. --—Deyvid Petteys (bother \ stalk) 07:41, June 25, 2012 (UTC)

True Accusations[edit source]

Please refrain from copying definitions from Wikipedia to make yourself seem really smart. Your edit summaries do not prove anything because you just set the bot to display the edit summary, I'm not stupid.

Balagog gro-Nolob (talk) 07:44, June 25, 2012 (UTC)

I apologize for any displeasure you have experienced while being here thusfar. We would like to inform you that, due to the suspicious nature of this situation, we have decided it best to report the issue to Wikia, as they have better tools for this. However, if you are using some type of automatic software, you do have the option to simply admit it to us and we'll decide where to go from here. Otherwise, it will be up to Wikia to decide, and if they find you were not truthful, or were not abiding by their policies and guidelines, you could be issued a wiki-wide ban. --—Deyvid Petteys (bother \ stalk) 07:53, June 25, 2012 (UTC)

Fishy stick[edit source]

Have a fishy stick!
Flightmare has awarded you a Fishy stick! For good work on Arena articles.

Categories[edit source]

Hi there, please hold off creating any more dawnguard categories until we get a better idea of how many pages etc we are dealing with, thanks!

Battlespire Book Template[edit source]

Hi, I apologize for the tardiness of my response. I just found the notice in my email that you posted on my talk page, but the post was not there. I did find a copy of it, though, and restored it. To answer your question, there is no reason other than one has not been created. If the book exists in other games, we recommend using the "Books" template, as it includes multiple games. If the book is exclusive to Battlespire, then, of course, it needs a Battlespire Book Template. If you are comfortable with doing so, you can go ahead and create one using one of the others as a pattern and taking the correct color from The Elder Scrolls Wiki:Style and Formatting guide. Otherwise, let me or one of the other admins or patrollers know, and one of us can take care of it for you. GramsJ (talk) 16:30, June 27, 2012 (UTC)

Good Job[edit source]

Wow, 18 edits in 1 minute on 4 July at 12:51, that's like, an edit every 3.33333333 seconds, that must be a record, great work.

Please don't add any more

. They are wrecking the overall look of pages. We need to handle this in a different way. Thanks.

Thanks[edit source]

Thanks for fixing up my article. I am truly terrible when it comes to infoboxes ^^ DraGGonized (talk) 06:30, July 5, 2012 (UTC)

Anytime. Dar'Rajhin (talk) 06:31, July 5, 2012 (UTC)
Beat me to it, dammit Dar! Check out your talk page dude. Remember to sign your posts with four ~'s in a row. Senjai (talk) 06:34, July 5, 2012 (UTC)

Infoboxes[edit source]

Hi. I just came across an Arena Location article that you recently removed the infobox from. All location articles need to have an Infobox, even if there is little information in it. Please don't remove empty Infoboxes from articles. Thank you, and if you have any questions about subjects like these, feel free to ask. GramsJ (talk) 01:15, July 11, 2012 (UTC)

The infoboxes I removed are those from speculated Arena Location Pages, I deemed this action necessary since the locations aren't actually listed anywhere in Arena. Dar'Rajhin (talk) 11:39, July 11, 2012 (UTC)
Hmm, I don't have Arena, so I can't check on that, but it would seem to me if it has a "name," it would be a location whether or not someone has put it on a list. Does it have a marker on a map? Just wondering. Those would be the criteria I would use to determine whether it's worthy of the location designation. In any event, if it has a page, it should have an infobox, in my opinion. :) GramsJ (talk) 13:49, July 11, 2012 (UTC)
They may be locations, but they are not ones existing in Arena. They do not haev markers on the Arena map, every location that has a marker has already been listed in their appropriate categories. Yes, a page should have an infobox, but the infobox should be appropriate and relevant to the article in question. Dar'Rajhin (talk) 01:16, July 12, 2012 (UTC)

Arena Images[edit source]

See User:Dar'Rajhin/ArenaImages. I've done this so Veetor can go ahead with unused file deletion tomorrow as usual and we don't have to worry about these while you're on holiday. I'll delete that page once you're done with the Arena location pages.
Thanks, Elchzard (talk) 12:31, July 13, 2012 (UTC)

Orphan template[edit source]

Just to let you know, the supposed orphan pages that you re-added the {{Orphan}} template to was no longer needed. I'm guessing that you thought those pages were still without linking pages since it still shows up in the Special:LonelyPages? Well, that list updates once every night, so pages that had no linking pages before would still appear in the list until it updated again. The next update is at 5:06 AM, July 14th (server time). So, please be sure to check "My Tools" --> "What Links Here" before adding the Orphan template to pages. Thanks. —TombRaiser SPEAK! 04:28, July 14, 2012 (UTC)

Images.[edit source]

Thanks for renameing those images, but i just wante d to make sure you cheaked to see if the images are still on there articles, renaming them messes with the link

NVM, i read the links, we are supposed to rename them, NOT leave a redirect link, and fix the broken link on the articles. ill try to fix it, but be a little more careful next time

Cheatcodechamp (talk) 16:47, July 14, 2012 (UTC)

Images[edit source]

Hello again Dar, thanks for helping with renaming those images. I just sent them to Cheatcodechamp because he told me that he wanted me to send them to him, cause he's working on renaming the images.

Bugs and voting[edit source]

Hello there, fellow TESWikian! A few things to discuss with you. First, I have recently made a proposition for the formatting of Bugs on articles. I would greatly appreciate your opinion and suggestions here: F:CT:Flagging bugs. Additionally, two new TESWikians are applying for staff positions. If you have not yet voted, please do at the rollbacker page and the News Team talk page. And give your opinions on Balgog and Senjai. Talos guide you, friend. :D --—Deyvid Petteys (bother \ stalk) 06:51, August 7, 2012 (UTC)

RE:Blog images[edit source]

One of the images you uploaded for your blog violated our image policy due to vulgarity. I deleted it. You may want to remove or replace the redlink left on the blog itself. Additionally, the images you uploaded need to be renamed. You should know better, honestly. Our image policy says that images need to be given useful names or risk deletion. Please rename them for me? Thanks. --—Deyvid Petteys (bother \ stalk) 03:25, August 15, 2012 (UTC)

Much apologies Deyvid, this won't happen again. Dar'Rajhin (talk) 04:17, August 15, 2012 (UTC)

Blogs[edit source]

Thanks for keeping up on the blogs. At any rate, you need to make sure that you're linking readers to the original articles. If you're borrowing a quote from someone, you absolutely must cite where that quote was taken from and link to it. In addition to this, please make sure you're proofreading the blogs before you publish them. The blog titled "Dawnguard Still Not Ready For PS3" has a few grammatical errors. The first one appears in the line: Pete Hines, the VP of PR and Marketing at Bethesda, was has been quoted stating;. "was" or "has", not both. Also, all quotes are formatted with a comma, never a semi-colon. Since "stating" is a dangling particle, it must have a comma before it. Lastly, the word "gamer" in the last paragraph is misspelled.

I haven't had a chance to read through the other blogs, but please correct these errors and try to be more careful in the future. The reason we've excluded anyone other than staff from writing blogs are because of these reasons: plagiarized journalism and poor spelling and grammar. Please do not fall victim to this and lose your right to post blogs on the main page. --—Deyvid Petteys (bother \ stalk) 03:23, August 21, 2012 (UTC)

I'm still skeptical about the sources of the information. I would hold off on labeling it "news". News is verifiable fact. This is speculation and theory based on dubious leaked sources. You even said so yourself in the blog. Either way, it doesn't matter, because the blog is already trending, so people will hear about it. --—Deyvid Petteys (bother \ stalk) 02:53, August 22, 2012 (UTC)

Re: Stub Templates[edit source]

Thanks for letting me know and sorry about that. I wasn't to sure about whether there was a proper place for them and I was usually just putting them there to replace another out of date template. I'll make sure to remember that. :)
