This is my talk page! If you made it here, you probably have a question. Questions are good, and I am good at answering them. Before posting your comments, concerns, and whatnot, please ensure that you:

 • Be civil - no need to start arguments. If you've come here to complain or berate other users, you know where the door is.
 • Check your grammar and spelling. Not too difficult. Just proofread.
 • Sign your posts using four tildes (~~~~).
 • Leave your concerns at the very bottom of the page with a header. To create a header, encompass the topic word in two ='s on either side.
 • Check the guide and help pages. Your question may be easily answered there.
 • If I don't respond right away or within a few hours, check out the IRC. I'm probably there.

Image questionEdit

Hi Deyvid... I know I haven't been an admin that long but I have been uploading more than 4300 images to this wiki. When I started I was told we should have ingame images to illustrate whatever.. and for characters a specific size for consistency and showing full armor using the same size as for characters if possible. It isn't mentioned in the image policy but as TombRaiser also do, add such images to illustrate full armor. That's why I'm asking this question as you gave ok to Draevan13 to use a conception art image to illustrate the armor. If I had seen that it needed a new image I would have used the image Tomb had on that page File:Unamed Imperial Captain.png instead. Is it ok to crop the conception art images just because someone has uploaded them here? Just want to know.. :) —EbonySkyrim Message! 11:06, November 20, 2013 (UTC)

Help Edit

Hi deyvid and Happy Thx giving (late)! i was wondering how are you adding the community news on the main page but to have the whole list of the blog? i cant do it on my wiki and i saw it on a few others wiki. But the thing is that i dont really remember the name so..i am asking to you :) http://shadow-moon.wikia.com/wiki/Shadow_Moon_WikiJarjarkine (talk) 20:50, November 29, 2013 (UTC)

Hey!Edit

Hey, I've been doing good. Still very active on the wiki and it's almost been 2 years for me here. I'm now a crat like you and Tim :P It's good that you'll be able to edit more, even if most is patrolling. As you can see a lot has changed in the staff list, such as having forum moderators and chat moderators now. We're really trying to prepare the wiki for ESO's launch, because we know when it's released there will be a flood of new recruits! Which is good, and also bad...lol But, hopefully we will have enough patrollers and moderators before that explosion happens.

I don't really go on IRC that much anymore, but when I do, it's usually just for CVN. Well, hope all is well with you and hope to see you around here a bit more, too. :) —TombRaiser SPEAK! 04:30, December 1, 2013 (UTC)

Re:Copyright Infringement Edit

Hey, I saw that message you left on my talk page,

Yea, like you said I have copied from the UESP page, that I do not deny, and I'm really sorry about that. Blatanly copying is bad, but what say you if I revise the page to make it different from the copied content? I really like pages and I'd love to make them better. If I have your consent, I will revise the page myself, if not then oh well.

Weird Shout Edit

Hey D,

I've just noticed that Miraak has an unique shout that he uses during his bossfight. I was wondering if I could add this one to the shouts page, since it has 4 words instead of 3, and may wreck the page sections if I do so.

Katz 12:38, December 1, 2013 (UTC)

Make mention of it on the talk page. I'm logging off now. I'm sure someone who edits that article regularly will be able to help you. --—Deyvid Petteys (bother \ stalk) 12:40, December 1, 2013 (UTC)

Cutter editEdit

Hi Deyvid, I've seen what you discovered and I should have seen it too as I did leave a message to him about using "the player" and so on.. He said to me he had "copied the info from an Oblivion guide I (he) made a while back" so I never had a thought and looked on the UESP wiki. Glad you saw it. :) —EbonySkyrim Message! 23:27, December 1, 2013 (UTC)

:) Hi again... I've had too much in my head lately, lost my mother, dealing with everything around it, packing and cleaning my flat as I'm taking over her flat, and selling my flat and on top I work... as for the MOTM, Tomb thought as we didn't have any candidates for September, not enough editors to choose from who were active, we should postpone and leave it until ESO Online arrive in spring. I think the voting for September when it was started again faded out... I'll have a look at the updates you've made tomorrow when I have time and let you. Need the bed now.. zzzzzz —EbonySkyrim Message! 00:09, December 2, 2013 (UTC)

MOTMEdit

Yes, there is something you missed. The MOTM is currently disbanded for various reasons. One of them being that there aren't that many people activity contributing to the wiki to be noted as Member of the Month. The other reason is because calling it "Member of the Month" doesn't really tell you that you need to be actively editing the wiki to get it. For instance, people who are active or popular in the forum would be suggested for MOTM even if they've never contributed to wiki articles. In the past we didn't have active forums, so there was confusion on who is eligible for MOTM.

It was also suggested that if MOTM is for those that contribute content to the wiki, that it be renamed "Editor of the Month" and not "Member of the Month" because forum members are still members. You can read here about what was discussed.

We didn't get rid of it entirely, since we were planning on bringing it back once ESO was released.

Thanks for letting me know about the edit you encountered which was taken from UESP. Of course I'll watch this user's edits to make sure more doesn't appear. Unfortunately not every single edit can be caught, but it is good that you discovered it in time. —TombRaiser SPEAK! 00:22, December 2, 2013 (UTC)

We actually do need more Patrollers. AutoBlood is really the only active patroller and CheatCodeChamp and Balgog also still come by, but not as active as they once were. I think MHInifite would be a good canditate for Patroller as he's been adding a lot of ESO content, and he's also been watching other people edits along the way.
Documentalist would be a good candidate for Editor of the Month, but we should actually fix it first, so there is no confusion on who can be nominated for it.
As for forums flooding the RC. It's crazy. I did mention on my visit to Wikia that we would like the option to move forum content, at least to the side-bar, similar to how recent blogs are viewed...but, of course no changes to that yet. It would be great if there was some magical way we could side-bar all the forum posts. xD —TombRaiser SPEAK! 01:20, December 2, 2013 (UTC)
Excellent ideas there! I would love to see forum activity in the sidebar, with an auto-refresh feature like the Recent Changes themselves. They could use a widget similar to the one Facebook has in the upper righthand corner of the screen, the one that constantly scrolls as updates are made. I would not be against the notion of having a separate recent changes altogether designed specifically for talk pages, blogs, and forums.
If you think MHInifite would be a good candidate for Patroller, start the nomination process ASAP. :P --—Deyvid Petteys (bother \ stalk) 01:48, December 2, 2013 (UTC)

Imperial Legion Soldier photoEdit

I was wondering, since I just got Skyrim for PC for Steam, if I took a picture in-game of an Imperial Legionnaire and uploaded it to this site, would it be acceptable? I just really don't like the current pic of that Zombie-Legionnaire :P  01:42, December 2, 2013 (UTC)

Your signature is broken, sir. Back on topic: certainly! Feel empowered to take as many high resolution screenshot as you desire. Try adding images to articles without images as well. Make sure that the replacement is, indeed, higher quality first. And, as well, photographs MUST be properly attributed and licensed or face deletion. I'm sure you're already an expert on the help pages TESWiki has to offer, though, so I'll lay it rest. :P --—Deyvid Petteys (bother \ stalk) 01:54, December 2, 2013 (UTC)

Re workEdit

Thanks.. everything happened so fast and I wish I had more time to fix the flat. Well I work in a large hospital, used to be in the OR for many years but something happened and as I was interested in computers I was asked to help with launching a software and also other stuff. Since 2011 we have our own Help-desk and we (2,5 people) look after over 500 computers, give passwords and rights to users and stuff like that. If we can't solve it we send it to the official help-desk. So I'm in front of a computer all day long. :) —EbonySkyrim Message! 10:46, December 2, 2013 (UTC)

Sorry for the late replyEdit

Yeah, things have been going pretty good. However, as I think you might have noticed by the fact that I took a few days to reply - I am not able to get online as much anymore. (Ethan pulls the wifi usb if I try and use it when he is awake, and then there have been some mild internet connection issues as well). As for the wiki - yeah, it's been going pretty well. These new forums have really kicked off, and they've got a whole heap of newcomers so it's been pretty great. And there's always new content about TES: Online. Oh, Tombs is now a 'crat, too. Which is good - because, well, she's been pretty much covering for me for a while now. As for MotM - I think it was due to a lack of people interested (i.e. always rushed, and people nominating themselves). TimeoinSay G'DayView my work 12:19, December 7, 2013 (UTC)

Review requestEdit

Recently I have been redeveloping the console command pages, I'm sure you noticed. Now that the majority of the pages are converted, I'm focusing on documentation:

 • To help our readers I've made Console Commands (Skyrim)/Navigator Help.
 • To help our editors making similar pages as I did for the console commands, I've included some comments in the wiki text of these pages, and I made before and after.
 • I realize I've have to document the templates too.

I've 2 questions/requests:
1. Could you review the help I made?
2. I'm happy with the place of the readers help, but where should I put the editors help? Make 2 buttons under help, one "help for readers" and "help for editors"?

Thanks, Documentalist (talk) 22:34, December 7, 2013 (UTC)

Hey - Lucklima13 just added a sentence to the background section for Aventus Aretino. It is speculation, but it appears to be fairly well thought out. Should it just be deleted on sight, or not? Just looking for another opinion before I take action. Cubears (talk) 03:16, December 9, 2013 (UTC)

Thanks for taking care of that editor. I was wondering how to handle him without being a jark. Cubears (talk) 03:51, December 10, 2013 (UTC)
Both of you handled the problem appropriately. At this point, it was out of your hands. Keep in mind that not all of this editors contributions need to be reverted. I have looked through about 20 or so, and some of them can stay. I removed all of the troublesome ones that the two of you did not snipe out already. --—Deyvid Petteys (bother \ stalk) 03:54, December 10, 2013 (UTC)

Anvil recommendation Edit

Greetings - etc. etc.

We cannot find that quests mentioned on a page should be in quotations in the Manual of Style. Please help. As for links, we were told that horse (Oblivion) worked just fine. (If the "Oblivion" wasn't capitalized, it was our goof.)

Thank YouDarthOrc (talk) 06:47, December 11, 2013 (UTC)

To answer your question, it was Wenny0119. DarthOrc (talk) 07:50, December 11, 2013 (UTC)

Our point about links is this: if how we make the link in source mode has no effect on the final appearance of a page when it is read, there is no reason to put in all the extra keystrokes. (This is unlike the objection to us using ! instead of Skyrim). It is more efficient to use horse (Oblivion) than it is to use horse and, as far as we can tell, it does not change the appearance of the final page or the effectiveness of the link. Also, we can not find this discussed in the style guidelines, in fact, there is this: Only proper nouns and the first word of article headers should be capitalized.
As for putting quests on a page in quotations, putting anything that is not a quotation inside quotations is incorrect grammar. Surely there is a better way.
About the page Elder Scrolls Online, thank you for your offer. If you can fix any part of it, we say go ahead. We are totally disgusted with the page anyway as it uses "the player" multiple times and would require a major rewrite to bring it into compliance with TESWiki style guidelines.DarthOrc (talk) 06:38, December 12, 2013 (UTC)

You need to unlink the channel from Google+ (it is currently linked to a Google+ profile) and relink it to a Google+ page as soon as you can and then rename the actual Google Account to a real name or it has a high chance of being banned for violating the Google+ username policies. ClassesEdit

Hi Deyvid, I asked EternalScroll not to add the Class in the lead as we haven't this on other characters from the other games. So he was removing it again from those he had added.. As there is already a link to it in the infobox, if others have added this. He is getting confused now.. —EbonySkyrim Message! 19:26, December 14, 2013 (UTC)

Understand you Deyvid, but maybe we should hear with others as we haven't had this on any Oblivion character before and suddenly we shall add it? —EbonySkyrim Message! 19:33, December 14, 2013 (UTC)
I have something different to question, and that is whether the class name should be capitalized in the lead. I mean saying "This person is a Redguard Mage" sounds wrong, and should read "This person is a Redguard mage" instead. I view these classes as an occupation title, which are not capitalized. —TombRaiser SPEAK! 19:42, December 14, 2013 (UTC)
With mage, it's difficult to say. However, I think the class name, if mentioned directly, should be capitalized. Like we do with armor and weapons. Again, with mage, though, it's difficult to tell how it's being used. If we're referring to a member of the Mages Guild, it might be mage. But if we were mentioning the class, it would be Mage. Classes like Pilgrim and Witchunter are more transparent, I think, since they are titles just like Countess or Jarl. --—Deyvid Petteys (bother \ stalk) 19:58, December 14, 2013 (UTC)

Oblivion Low Damage Weapons Edit

I notice that the below the part to post this is the Mystic Xarves from oblivion. I also read that you helped develop weapons for this game. Why was there so little damage to these weapons. Hitting the Books article lock Edit

I saw the changes you made to Hitting the Books, and then you locked it. I understand the lock need (to stop the edit war), but there are two problems:

 1. You added a lead template to say that the article needs a better lead, but now there is no way for anyone to actually fix that.
 2. Sorry to play Grammar Nazi, but you actually introduced implied second person at the beginning of the Arcaneum section. It says, "To begin, speak with..." It shoukld say something like, "The quest begins by speaking with..."

Here's my proposed lead. Can you add this and fix the implied second person?

This is the third quest in the College of Winterhold's quest line. There are important documents to help the Dragonborn figure out what's going on at Saarthal, but they have been stolen by Orthorn. They need to be recovered, however, this will require more than simply finding him.Cubears (talk) 01:52, December 25, 2013 (UTC)
I understand about the holidays. I hope you had a good time. As for the wording, I read the tone article, and saw this: ...all articles need to be written from third person indirect perspectives, although some exceptions are excusable. Again, sorry for being so pedantic about this, but that was exactly what I was talking about. I understand that using "the Dragonborn" is a bit of a crutch to help avoid making wording so subjunctive that it interferes with understandability. However, the quote above from the article directly conflicts with your statement that the second person indirect is preferable. So I now am confused. Which is correct - the tone article, or your statement?
Also, I swear that I saw some discussion a while ago that said, "the player," was inferior to, "the Dragonborn." In all my edits, I have been working to either replace the former with the latter, or else to completely reword the sentence to remove any need for a direct third person subject. Is that not the case? Has something changed, or am I not remembering things properly? Cubears (talk) 01:09, December 27, 2013 (UTC)
By the way, thanks for the link to the quest style sheet. I hadn't seen that before - that will help greatly. Cubears (talk) 01:11, December 27, 2013 (UTC)
I wrote the entirety of the style and writing guideline pages, so if it says something that conflicts with my earlier statement, that was my error. We do prefer third person indirect, but second person indirect, or any form of implied subject is superior to naming the subject directly when the subject is the player character. Here is a model: third person > second person > The Dragonborn/The Hero of Kvatch/The Champion etc. > the player. Personally, I consider the use of the protagonists title and the phrase "the player" to be equally as undesirable, but as you said, a crutch for those who lack the ability to command the English language in such a way that avoids their use altogether. All in all, writing something like: "Talk to the Orc behind the desk to complete the quest." or "Talking to the Orc behind the best completes the quest." or "Quest completion occurs when the Orc behind the desk is spoken to." are on equal plans of desirability (being the ideal), with "The Dragonborn needs to speak with the Orc behind the desk to complete the quest." being a lesser, yet temporarily acceptable stylistic option, and "The player needs to speak with the Orc..." being the least desirable while still skirting the wiki's acceptable tone. "I spoke to the Orc to beat the quest" and "You needs to speak with the Orc...etc." being unacceptable and unprofessional. Hope this illuminates things a bit for you. If you are adamant about using third person indirect, so be it. Personally, I believe both second and third person indirect are acceptable; both have been the acceptable norm for some time, which I observed and documented in the policy pages as a quick way to direct editors in the right direction, prose-wise. Personally, I am not so dogmatic as to think all sentences should be worded identically with all articles having the same perspective. Sentence variability is ideal and more interesting, dans mon avi as the French say; sentence variability and writing interesting-sounding prose is one of the proposed qualifications for an article reaching good or featured status. For a complete list of what I feel makes an article "perfect", look here. Sorry for the long-winded response. :) --—Deyvid Petteys (bother \ stalk) 02:22, December 27, 2013 (UTC)
Thank you for your response. I appreciate all the detail - it helps me to understand. As I say on my bio, I have no intention to remake the Wiki as I see fit, so I will stop "correcting" second person indirect.
My only concern is with POV shifts within the same article. I understand that variability makes for more interesting reading. However, I have fairly extensive experience with people trying to translate English into other languages and the difficulties they face due to English's imprecision. While switching between second and third person indirect isn't a big deal for English, it can be a nightmare for other languages where there isn't an indirect option, or where the indirect option comes with the added baggage of major changes in verb conjugation (e.g. suffixes for Spanish second person plural "-ais", third person plural "-an"). That's why I have been on my mission to get rid of the second person everywhere. However, this Wiki was here long before I got here, and consistency is important, too. Unable to buy houses glitchEdit

I have a question that I've been seeking the answer to for quite some time, and figured you being an admin maybe one of the best people I could ask.

On my nord character I have found out I can not buy any houses or land plots. I have done every quest required in ever city and the jarl says I may purchase property now. BUT the option to do so never pops up in the dialog with the people that usually give that option. This is the ONLY character that this has happened to. I was just wondering if there's any way to fix this?

I tried reloading and doing all sorts of thing, but no good. The only house I COULD get was that manor you recieve in raven rock on the dragonborn DLC.

MistaBlitz (talk) 07:37, December 26, 2013 (UTC)

That is strange as i have a Nord but i can buy all the houses. Only have breezehome but i am only level 10. Batrada (talk) 17:05, December 26, 2013 (UTC)Batrada I know that there is a bug where if you fimish the imperial quest lne Hjerm is attainable but no upgrades can be bought.

User with multiple accountsEdit

Hey Deyv, how's it going?

While we were in the chat, me and UAM, we spotted an user called Uthgerd the Unbroken and he/she admitted to have 4 accounts. As it's against policy, he/she should be banned, right? Thanks, PLPellegrini (talk) 00:02, January 6, 2014 (UTC)

Hey, also I found an user with the name of "[Dildo Faggons".
Thanks and sorry for bothering, PLPellegrini (talk) 16:07, January 6, 2014 (UTC)

Elfder Scrolls Online youtube filter Edit

Greetings - We hope you had a good holidays season. We have been trying to get around the youtube filter that is blocking edits on the Elder Scrolls Online page. As an experiment, we cut a reference to youtube, ()  which allowed the edit. Then, we attempted to re-insert the youtube reference and were blocked. Then we tried to undo our edit and that was blocked as well.

Can you restore the youtube reference? If not, who should we contact?

Thanks DarthOrc (talk) 20:25, January 8, 2014 (UTC)

Blog Question Edit

Hello! I was wondering if I could post some of my novel as a blog. I only have 9 pages so far, so it's not too long. Everyone on chat seems to like the little bit I posted. All I want to know is if non-ES things like that would be allowed. I am also asking TombRaiser and Timeion. Thanks in advance! Jett Cyber (talk) 02:42, February 15, 2014 (UTC)

ImagesEdit

Hi Deyvid, I've taken it up on myself to try and sort out the images on the wiki. I saw your notice the other day on the Skyrim: Miscellaneous Images page and have almost moved all off the images to different categories. I told Tomb I'm an image freak and I have also gone through the uncategorized and unused images and I'm almost finished with this. There was a lot of them! :) —EbonySkyrim Message! 12:10, February 16, 2014 (UTC)

ESOEdit

Hey, There is a lot of missing pages (of course, the game isnt out yet!) but my attention was caught in the Abilities (Online) page. I'm adding links to missing pages for the abilities morphs by completing the board but this is just a hell of a work! So I'll do my best but some help would be appreciated plus some back up on the making of the missing pages... I would need to make sure that the form is right so we dont have to change all of them... that would be a nightmare! So give it a look when you can. Thanks. ChatEdit

I had done nothing wrong and had no warning and was then premenantly blocked. User:Ghost Anubis was the one who did this, Can you fix this problem.Batrada (talk) 01:11, March 1, 2014 (UTC)Batrada

As I've said on Ghost Anubis's and Jett Cyber's Userpages. You were being disruptive. You are NOT above the Chat Rules. Also, you were warned MANY times. You were not perma-banned. You will be able to come back to Chat in 2-3 hours. — KETIK Profile/Talk 22:48, March 1, 2014 (UTC)

Instant Expert Edit

Hi, Deyvid Petteys!

We're planning an "Instant Expert" showcase with the upcoming release of ESO. The gist is that we reach out to admins asking their expert opinions and thoughts on an upcoming or existing game - so in this case, questions pertaining to The Elder Scrolls Online. We're in the process of cobbling together a reasonably short list of questions we'd like to ask and were wondering if you'd like to be one of those that provides answers. Let me know, and I'll email you the list to the email address associated with your account ;) Feel free to answer any or all of them - we're aiming for getting the answers by the end of the month.

Best regards, --Raylan13@fandom (talk) 19:39, March 25, 2014 (UTC)

Rappy, you might want to try asking this to Timeoin or TombRaiser, since Deyvid hasn't visited the wiki in 3 weeks so he may not notice this message. --Speysider Talk Page | Tabber Code | Channel 19:41, March 25, 2014 (UTC)

Help in a matterEdit

Hi Deyvid, glad to see you back... :) I'm asking you now as my knowledge on armor isn't that high. What is the correct name for this? Ebony Mail (Of Boethiah) or Ebony Mail. Please look in the history of the last one as two users have different opinions. —EbonySkyrim Message! 07:16, June 26, 2014 (UTC)

Thanks.. I removed that image as it was set as s disambig page. On the other matter, I feel ashamed. I didn't know and luckily I only made changes on one more article, which I've fixed now. —EbonySkyrim Message! 08:48, June 26, 2014 (UTC)
Great I'll have a look on what you said. If you could have a look at this on the The Elder Scrolls Wiki:Vandalism in progress right now.. you can see I have been involved once or twice already on one of the users. And I don't know if you have seen this yet.. Thread:687323 and a few other threads on the consencus board. —EbonySkyrim Message! 09:15, June 26, 2014 (UTC)

Re: Vandalism in progressEdit

Well, I could be better, I suppose.  The thing with Skyrim90000 isn't just my problem, though.  At first, I thought he was merely a user in need of a lot of assistance, but I am now convinced he is a troll.  His behaviour seems to support it as well, as he repeatedly asked for help and advice, received and then ignored it, then continued with his disruptive edits, rinse, repeat, etc.  He just goes around adding incomprehensible nonsense to pages, then gets upset when it invariably gets reverted, yet never tries to improve his editing practices.

As for snowbird....  well, that could have gone better.  He misunderstood the reasons for my edits and, after I told him what I did and even provided links to both the exact section of the style guide and even the direct words of an admin that described that my edits were in line, he not only completely ignored them but also deleted everything on his talk page and decided to insult me on my talk page in the most profoundly condescsending and ignorant manner I have ever seen.  I don't think he even tried to read what was on the other side of the links.  I told him that character genders and the game in which they appear don't belong in leads and that only proper nouns must be capitalised but, as I said, he just ignored it and attacked me.  Granted, I could have been a little more patient, but I was somewhat astounded by his attitude and couldn't help but reciprocate to some extent.  The lack of sleep certainly didn't help, either.

Misapan, Recipe - Jumping Shock Spider and Alik'r Warrior were the articles in question.  I wasn't expecting a block for either one, but I believe it's inevitable for the former, as he has already received several warnings and a temp block (to little effect, apparently), whereas I think (or, rather, hope) the latter was simply having a bad day and will be more inclined to listen to reason in the future, though that is still no excuse for such behaviour. - Erik the Mad (talk) 15:16, June 26, 2014 (UTC)

Flying Item Query Edit

Mail table finished - yay

FINALLY finished!

Mail table - no goblet

*facepalm*

Hi, thanks for the warm message of welcome.

I have an odd question for you, I've been doing extensive research on home design. I see there's a physics engine problem with Skyrim, and since I'm on a PS3, I can't mod or patch it. So what I'm doing is putting every single item that has the physics problem in a barrel. That way it's alphabetized and easier to make a list from. Would you guys like a copy of it? It would save players a huge headache.

I can tell you that so far, every unique Thieves Guild item you give to Delvin flies right off the shelf, table, or other object, as tested in Riften, Solitude, and now Markarth. Platters, certain goblets and jugs do also, and gems fly out of bowls. Interestingly enough, ...or perhaps weirdly enough...., only the former Arch Mage's amulet flies off surfaces and it's possible to make a bowl of jewlery  .... a bowl of jewlery. (Hey, I'm a chick, bowls of shiny = pure awesome.) I guess I'm okay with the former Arch Mage's amulet vanishing, seeing as how the floor seems to have eaten it. Who knew it was hungry? Quest reward rings and amulets work just as well as crafted and enchanted one, save the former Arch Mage's.

I know people have to be as frustrated with this as I am. Hopefully it'll help. And to give you an idea how extensively I decorate, the first pic is the finished--with ink pot, quill, and goblet. The second is the same minus the ink, etc., etc.

Let me know what you think. Riia Rilriia (talk) 07:34, June 29, 2014 (UTC)

UESP imageEdit

I just became aware that that using pics from this site is forbidden.  Then I remembered that I did just that last year.  It was barely over a month after joining and I was unaware of this rule, and I'm a little bit freaked out, now, especially after what happened to Chairmanprescott6179.  Until now, I thought this only applied to text transplanted from UESP.  This is the image.  I apologise for this as well, since this is probably the worst thing I've done on the wiki. - Erik the Mad (talk) 19:22, June 29, 2014 (UTC)

I took care of it. —EbonySkyrim Message! 06:21, July 1, 2014 (UTC)

Come on chat, please? Edit

Hey Deyvid! I have something I'd like to report to you, but I'd prefer it be kept private for a number of reasons. Could you come on chat sometime? I'm usually on after 4 PM EST, and I'm also on around 6-8 AM EST. If you could come on soon, that'd be great. Thanks! Likes-That-Tail (talk) 11:08, July 1, 2014 (UTC) Nevermind, the situation is being handled by Ebony. Likes-That-Tail (talk) 11:34, July 2, 2014 (UTC)

Overlinking Edit

Something I've discovered on articles is the amount of duplicate and repetitive links that are added to them. In the case of Vampirism (Skyrim), I removed many duplicate links or moved links to more appropriate places. As it stands, it doesn't read like an article, more like a wall of hyperlinks, which is bad practice. I'm doing what I can to solve the issue, but I've made a CT to discuss it in more detail here. Please chime in with your thoughts when you can. --SuperSajuuk Talk Page | Tabber Code | Channel 09:32, July 2, 2014 (UTC)

Chat request Edit

Hi Deyvid Petteys, is it possible you can come onto the chat for a bit? There's something I need to talk about in PM's, just PM me when you are available to do so. :) --SuperSajuuk Talk Page | Tabber Code | Channel 10:55, July 18, 2014 (UTC)

Skyrim9000 Sockpuppet Edit

Hey Deyvid. Could you please ban User:Skyrim90000? It's a sockpuppet if User:Skyrim9000. I have a screenshot of him admitting it if you need it, but I'm pretty sure that it's obvious enough. Thank you! Likes-That-Tail (talk) 03:48, July 23, 2014 (UTC)

User Skyrim90000Edit

Deyvid, there has been some misunderstadings about him, mainly because I failed to add that when he made the second account. He believed he needed a new account when using another computer. He didn't understand that it wasn't allowed to create several accounts, and when I blocked the first account I added the account abuse instead of adding he made a mistake so it was never in the block log. You can see it on his talkpage. I also noticed you had added a probationary block to him in June for a week, and then blocked him totally for my mistake... I'm really sorry about that. I have unblocked him as they also added a chatban because of this.. —EbonySkyrim Message! 07:58, July 23, 2014 (UTC)

re: lead Edit

The lead should not be a wall of text, whatever the style guidelines might say. The information under the "background" heading is information that talks about the area in general, and the lead is a quick summary of what the page is about. If you don't agree, please use a talkpage or the forums to discuss the lead policy. --Sajuuk talk | contribs | Channel 07:48, April 15, 2015 (UTC)
