Card border change Edit

Hi DreamSoulshine, it's come to my attention that as part of the development shift of The Elder Scrolls: Legends from Dire Wolf Digital to Sparkypants, the card borders for every single card in Legends will apparently be changed to a more "weathered card look." This means that all of the images will have to be reuploaded when the changes are made. I'm curious if you have the time/interest for helping us gather the images again.

I can automatically tag the card images as needing an update with my bot, so it would be easy for editors such as yourself to figure out which images need to be reuploaded. I'm not really familiar with how Legends decks work, but I'm hoping that this will be possible with relative ease. I'm sure it will be tedious, but assuming you still have all of the cards on your account, you should be able to screenshot them with the new border, correct?

Regardless, I hope life has been treating you well, and sorry to drop a bombshell on you like this, haha. I have my hands full with Recent Changes and ESO content, so there's not that much I can personally do in terms of the uploading... we can really use all the help we can get. :P —Atvelonis (talk) 02:39, June 3, 2018 (UTC)

We've been discussing it in Discord lately and it seems that our most likely course of action will be to rename the existing images and upload new ones, because the border changes are more significant than previous cosmetic revisions. So your work would still be preserved, it would just be shown in addition to the new images. —Atvelonis (talk) 16:57, June 3, 2018 (UTC)
Sure thing, and great to know that you're willing to help out some more. I'm not totally sure when the changes will go live/when we will start the renaming process, but I'll definitely let you know ASAP when it happens! —Atvelonis (talk) 00:00, June 5, 2018 (UTC)

Re: KellenEdit

It's fine even if the dialogue is in the quest too, this is something we do for all characters in general. In case the text is too much for the page, it is usually put in collapsible tables. —Rozty (talk) 17:58, September 5, 2018 (UTC)

Legends cards Edit

Hey DreamSoulshine, here is an outline of what we have to do to get all the Legends images working again. Rozty and I have renamed all the existing files in Category:Legends: Card Images from the Dire Wolf Digital version of the game and have moved said images to galleries on their articles. We have intentionally not fixed any links on other pages so that you can simply use Category:Pages with broken file links or Special:WantedFiles as a way to track down which images need new versions (this is more efficient than the alternative).

If you'd like to help upload the new Legends cards, please start by uploading your own in-game images for everything appearing on the maintenance pages I linked above, and once that's finished, move onto Category:Legends: Image Needed for any remaining uploads. This is going to take a lot of work, but between you, Rupuzioks, Raylan13 (if he's not busy), and other editors, I think it will be possible to finish relatively quickly. Let me know if you have any questions. Thanks. —Atvelonis (talk) 15:34, October 7, 2018 (UTC)
