Zero sum Edit

Hi Eljoebro, thanks for your edit to the "Zero Sum" page, but it did not include any citations and some parts were relatively inaccurate. If you want to continue adding lore content to the wiki, please take a look at the wiki's sourcing guidelines for an explanation of how to reference content properly. In this particular instance, zero-summing is an extremely speculative topic; the only definitive text we have on the concept is Et'Ada, Eight Aedra, Eat the Dreamer, which notes in the beginning, "[Transcribed from a spore-dream of an unidentified, evaporating Moth Priest that reached zero sum.]" As such, it isn't possible to have a full article on this topic without speculating to a higher degree than is permitted on the mainspace. —Atvelonis (talk) 02:55, October 17, 2017 (UTC)

Unused image Edit

Hi Dumac, I'm afraid I've had to delete your most recent upload, "Temp.jpg," for a few reasons. Firstly, the image is not categorized, nor does it have a descriptive title, and it was not placed on any article. Secondly, the file is taken from UESP's article on Nermus the Mooch: we have a mutual agreement not to use each other's content, so try to avoid uploading their material in the future. Let me know on my talk page if you have any questions. Thanks. —Atvelonis (talk) 16:51, February 10, 2018 (UTC)

Duplicate images Edit

Hi Dumac, please try not to reupload an image that is already on the wiki. For example, the "Herma-Mora-0.png" file that you uploaded earlier is a duplicate of the existing file "Herma-Mora.png." If you want to use an image in multiple articles that's completely fine, but there's no need to have the exact same picture twice on the wiki. Let me know if you have any questions. Thanks. —Atvelonis (talk) 01:06, February 26, 2018 (UTC)

Misspelled names Edit

Hello, all names of graveyards in Daggerfall that begins with "THe Crypts" are misspelled in the game, I added a trivia for clarity. --Rupuzioks (talk) 14:05, May 2, 2018 (UTC)

Source editor Edit

Hi Dumac, while going over some of your edits recently I noticed that you're using Wikia's proprietary "VisualEditor" to make revisions to content articles. While this can be an accessible way to get started with editing, VE causes a lot of formatting issues and is missing a few features. For example, it is causing several link errors in edits like this because it's designed terribly.

To avoid these issues in the future, I would strongly recommend you change your default editor to Source in Special:Preferences, under the "Editing" tab (it is not enough to just switch to Source every time you make an edit; this still causes the formatting issues because Visual was used for a short time). Source may seem a little confusing to use at first, but it's a vastly superior way to edit because it really teaches you the fundamentals of what you're doing much better than a WYSIWYG editor like VE ever could.

I have a guide on the syntax for Source here if you ever need to reference it, and you can of course ask a staff member for further assistance. Let me know on my talk page if you have any questions. Thanks. Have fun editing! —Atvelonis (talk) 00:12, June 8, 2018 (UTC)

Template placement Edit

Just a heads up, if you're going to be adding templates like {{For}} you should know that hatnote templates like that should go above {{Quote}}. That way they're a little easier to see because they don't get lost in between the quote and the lead. —Atvelonis (talk) 19:57, August 13, 2018 (UTC)
