Re: CapsEdit

Since we both see this naming convention as strange (I hope we are not the only ones), maybe we could make an except for these scrolls and just name them "Scroll of the ..."

For attributes, this is what sounds good to me, based on seeing how it's written in the game:

1. "An attribute that increases the Nerevarine's Fatigue is Endurance"
3."___ has an abnormally high amount of Health, making her difficult to defeat in battle"

They are treated like proper nouns in the game. A player has the attributes Health, Stamina, and Magicka capitalized in the Skills menu.

Kroq-gar had a good example with "A high Willpower causes Magicka to regenerate faster". What if it is used this way for Health: "Use a potion to restore Health" or "He uses a potion to restore his health". Sadly grammar isn't my best area. xD If in doubt about what to use, I would use it the way the game uses it. —TombRaiser SPEAK! 21:59, May 5, 2013 (UTC)

Article creation templatesEdit

Hey Eganogard, thought I would let you know that I made the Morrowind article creation templates for Ingredient and Spells. I tried to match what is used in Skyrim ingredient pages, and I used the layout that you have been using for Morrowind spells. —TombRaiser SPEAK! 23:50, May 6, 2013 (UTC)

Check! Added the "uses" field to the MorrowindClothing template. —TombRaiser SPEAK! 00:39, May 7, 2013 (UTC)
Another update for you. Just letting you know that the article creation template for Morrowind characters has been updated to match what you have used in the Sinyaramen article. —TombRaiser SPEAK! 00:00, May 8, 2013 (UTC)
Are we going to capitalize every letter of each section name? Kroq-gar78 (talk) 00:02, May 8, 2013 (UTC)
Acutally, no, we are not. So, I have to fix it. —TombRaiser SPEAK! 00:16, May 8, 2013 (UTC)
I tried to follow the Characters SF and Neloth (Dragonborn) as much as possible for the Sinyaramen article, the only thing that should be notably different is the "Attributes and Equipment" section. The "Abilities, Powers, and Spells" subheader was capped as per the "Spells and Perks" equivalent in the Neloth article. (I'm not sure why I did Equipment with a cap though).
Kjeld (Morrowind) also has a Background and a Services header that may need to be added to the template, they are not in Sin's article. Mossanon also has a quest-specific subheader in Quotes that is also not in Sin's article (due to Sin having a linear dialogue that went in the Conversations section, while talking to Mossanon is non-linear because there are multiple ways to deal with him).
Please cap anything as you guys see fit, by the way. I was trying to emulate Neloth, but use of caps was not really on my mind at the time. ──┤ Eganogard talk ├── 00:54, May 8, 2013 (UTC)
Not a big worry really. I think we all want to be sure we're doing things the right way. :) —TombRaiser SPEAK! 00:52, May 8, 2013 (UTC)
Definitely. Correctly and consistently are the only way to go. :) The only thing that concerns me a bit with the caps is that Neloth (Dragonborn) has "Spells and Perks" capped while the MW equivalent would not. I'm still a newbie and learning the subtleties of how things should be done here, so by all means, please correct anything I do wrong! ;) ──┤ Eganogard talk ├── 01:07, May 8, 2013 (UTC)
I sent Jimeee a message about the Spells and Perks thing in Neloth's page, maybe it wasn't meant to be capped and was overlooked. Also, just updated the template again to include the Services part, the Background header was there already. —TombRaiser SPEAK! 01:14, May 8, 2013 (UTC)

Awesome job! Edit

Hi Eganogard (or should I say... Dragon Age >_>),

First,

SweetRoll
Have a sweetroll!
Kroq-gar78 has awarded you a Sweetroll!
For still being awesome

there's another... in case you lost the one I just gave you :P

Second, I think it's about time you get invited to IRC. We need more people like you o_o Kroq-gar78 (talk) 02:40, May 11, 2013 (UTC)

Now I want some cinnamon rolls IRL :( lol
Ok, IRC. What NickServ does is that it registers your name specifically to a password so that other people can't sign in as your name and spoof your account. You can log in without a password for now; you can register when you log in. Also, using the web IRC for now is fine.
Hope it helps Kroq-gar78 (talk) 18:02, May 11, 2013 (UTC)

Re: MW shields Edit

There actually should be a Shields (Morrowind) page that list all the shields in in game. Of course, it's just a page that was never created properly. I see that it's a page that I deleted a while back which was due to vandalism. The other games, Oblivion and Skyrim, have a Shields page, so why not Morrowind. :) It would be great if it could reflect a similar format that is used in Shields (Skyrim). I think there are no list pages for boots and helmets, because shields are being treated as something separate from the armor you wear. —TombRaiser SPEAK! 03:52, May 12, 2013 (UTC)

There are some images of shields in Morrowind, I think a good one to use for the shield page is the File:Indoril Shield MW.png. Since the visual quality of the shields aren't that great in Morrowind, none are going to look exceptionaly great, but I think that one is probably better looking than the ones already up. Also, the Spell merchant, Trainer, and Transport headers have been added to the article creation template. —TombRaiser SPEAK! 23:30, May 13, 2013 (UTC)
Wow, you really have been busy! Great job on the Shields and Scrolls list pages for Morrowind, and really everything you've worked on. I think it's safe to remove the partial list from the Shields section on the Armor (Morrowind) page, and just leave the {{Main}} template in it's place. Again, great job, wish there were more editors like you, eager to improve and create new pages, especially for good ol' Morrowind! :) —TombRaiser SPEAK! 02:27, May 18, 2013 (UTC)

Re: MW character creation templateEdit

I fixed the missing fields, I forgot to update the infobox that was being used before all the changes. I think using named headers for inventory items like Potions, Books, Scrolls, could be a good idea, but if the list gets too long, then it would probably be a good idea to use the "show/hide table" on the list. I'm also okay with "Other" being used if the NPCs inventory is a small list of items. Feel free to experiment with either format. —TombRaiser SPEAK! 03:52, May 12, 2013 (UTC)

MW SchoolsEdit

Hi. No it should just be the spells as we have for Skyrim to avoid confusion. The enchanted weapons can be listed on a different page.

Jimeee (talk) 09:57, May 12, 2013 (UTC)

ImageEdit

Thank you for the warning, I understand. In fact, I'm trying to take it down myself, plus it's not Skyrim related, another thing I didn't realize...I thought my account was something of a private matter/my wall, where if someone wanted to see what else I like doing, they would go there. Is there a setting that I can check off next time that warns if material is unsuitable, like if I were to draw an image of an adult (non nude of course) -esque drawing of my Skyrim character?

Sorry about that!

-Stef

PS. How do I get rid of it?? It only lets me look at my history/replace when I click on the Edit button. :(

Re; Ingredients Edit

Hmmm... that is strange. Looks like when I edited Strawberry, it was removed from that page, so I wouldn't worry about it really. Anyway, thanks for telling me ;) Kroq-gar78 (talk) 23:43, May 17, 2013 (UTC)

Yeah, I think it's just how Wikia does list generation. Oh, and I've kind of forgotten about the [[Template:Kroq-gar78/MorrowindIngredients|MorrowindIngredients]] template :( I'll work on it. After that, I'll work on [[Template:Kroq-gar78/ShiveringIslesIngredients|ShiveringIslesIngredients]] after that for Ebony. Kroq-gar78 (talk) 00:55, May 18, 2013 (UTC)
OK, I think I'm finished with both. Tell me if something doesn't work :P Kroq-gar78 (talk) 06:10, May 18, 2013 (UTC)

Re: Ring of Khajiit & Belt of WillEdit

I'll take care of sorting out the "Ring of Khajiit/Ring of Khajiiti" pages. One will be the disambig and the other will be the redirect. You can go ahead and make the Ring of Khajiit (Morrowind) page in the meantime.

I honestly don't know how to go about naming the two Belt of Iron Will pages if they are both belts and both in Morrowind. I suppose you could just have them both on the same page. Formatting wise, you would have to use two infoboxes and separate them by section headers.

==Belt of Iron Will - Item 1==
{{MorrowindClothing}}

{{clr}}

==Belt of Iron Will - Item 2==
{{MorrowindClothing}}

==Trivia==
*Some info about why there are two belts with the same name.

Something like that. —TombRaiser SPEAK! 17:04, May 20, 2013 (UTC)

Re: Tribunal/Bloodmoon templateEdit

The {{TribunalIngredients}} template is ready. Since there are only 4 scrolls in Bloodmoon, it would probably be better to use the BloodmoonItems template instead of creating a new one. —TombRaiser SPEAK! 18:29, May 21, 2013 (UTC)

Morrowind question Edit

Dear Eganogard, I have a question for you. I'm trying to make a complete list of people who use the spell Chameleon in Morrowind. I'm trying to find a list in the Construction Set but can't find anything like that. Could you tell me how you came to such lists? I don't really feel like manually checking every npc in the game and if they use the spell. Thanks in advance. Kennyannydenny (A question is never stupid, only he who asks it) 16:45, May 22, 2013 (UTC)

Haha yes thats possible. My main wiki has always been the Elder Scrolls Wiki, but i was also active on the Fable, Dragon Age and Mass Effect wiki's. I'm currently also active on the Amalur and Fallout wiki, but not nearly as much as on here :D
Also thank you for your answer. I hope it'll be less difficult with other spells. Kennyannydenny (A question is never stupid, only he who asks it) 19:08, May 22, 2013 (UTC)
