Admin nomination[edit source]

Good day! I noticed that you created an admin nomination for Madman; however, you may not be aware that prospective admins can only be nominated by current admins. Read through our admin policy page. If you have any further questions, message me. Happy editing! :) --—Deyvid Petteys (bother \ stalk) 22:16, December 11, 2013 (UTC)

Yeah, after I created the article, I saw that rule and tried to delete it, but I couldn't. So it stayed. --EternalScroll (talk)
Remember to indent responses on talk pages. Improves readability. One colon indents; additional colons indents further. And, it's okay. We took care of the article. Only admins have the ability to delete pages. By the way, you need to fix your signature template. Add to the end of it--—Deyvid Petteys (bother \ stalk) 22:55, December 11, 2013 (UTC)

Edits[edit source]

Hi there, I've looked at some of your edits and have corrected a few. Please be careful as you by mistake removed the Appearance section and interwiki links on Neville. Also do not remove the red links like you did on Talan. They are there so others can see these articles haven't been created yet and someone can do this. Try and link directly to a page, check where the link takes you before you add it. There are several other small things to let you know but I think it's best you read the Style and formatting guide. —EbonySkyrim Message! 17:13, December 14, 2013 (UTC)

Please don't add the Class on the characters pages. It is not necessary at all as it's already in the info box. We don't have that on other games characters. Remove the link on commoner or link it to the page characters. —EbonySkyrim Message! 17:29, December 14, 2013 (UTC)

Don't remove[edit source]

Please do not remove messages on your talkpage. I have done a revert. —EbonySkyrim Message! 18:05, December 14, 2013 (UTC)

Sorry, won't happen again. --EternalScroll (talk) 18:08, December 14, 2013 (UTC)Eternal Scroll

New pages[edit source]

Hi there! Thanks for creating the new page Black Dart Gilur page. Remember, when creating a new page, that there are pre-loaded article layouts at the top of the page. If you click the "more+" button in that menu, you can see all the article layouts for each game and article type. Otherwise, you can find more information about formatting a new article in the style guide. Also, remember to add categories to new pages. Thanks again. :) --—Deyvid Petteys (bother \ stalk) 18:47, December 14, 2013 (UTC)

Removal of classes[edit source]

Hey there. Please do not remove the class links in The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion character articles. Pages such as Mage (Class) and Pilgrim should remain and can be verified by the console commands. --—Deyvid Petteys (bother \ stalk) 19:11, December 14, 2013 (UTC)

Yeah, EbonySkyrim confused me by telling me that I shouldn't add classes. Now, I am just getting mixed messages here. --EternalScroll (talk) 19:13, December 14, 2013 (UTC)EternalScroll
No hard feelings. Also, remember to indent your responses using a colon ( : ). It makes the talk page easier to read. I'll remove the block now. Happy editing. --—Deyvid Petteys (bother \ stalk) 19:20, December 14, 2013 (UTC)
Please, can you stop adding classes in the lead of characters for the time being. We need to have a discussion about this as we are not all on the same level. As defined classes has been only in Oblivion and not in others we need to talk about this so other editors don't think it's a standard. Also, I've seen now you have added some on Skyrim characters and you have added Oblivion classes. In Skyrim there aren't any classes like in Oblivion as someone said to me: Grelod the Kind is a Lunberjack class. That would sound very weird saying Grelod the Kind is a Lumberjack in Skyrim. She might have the class of a Lumberjack, but she would be more suited to be called something else. I do know that some have added the wrong link as on the Captain Wayfinder, he is a Rouge but the link in the infobox is for an Oblivion Rouge. Thanks... —EbonySkyrim Message! 21:55, December 14, 2013 (UTC)
I don't really know what to do. Deyvid Petteys told me to do it this way. I didn't and he gave me a probational block just for not doing what he said. --EternalScroll (talk) 21:59, December 14, 2013 (UTC)
Just leave it for now. Don't add anymore, Deyvid will understand. It also sounds better if we use occupations instead of class, example: "This person is a blacksmith" instead of "This person is a blacksmith warrior". And there is no rush in adding the classes if this is decided, so try and find something else to edit. :) Don't worry.. —EbonySkyrim Message! 22:06, December 14, 2013 (UTC)
Hey. Could you please just not remove and not add classes to the lead for right now. There really should be a discussion on this. And as EbonySkyrim stated, it's probably better to say the characters occupation instead of their class, for reason like with Grelod the Kind. Are we really gonig to say that she's a Lumberjack? Since there is no standard on how things like this should be worded, it's best to leave it for now, and have a discussion about it so we all can be 100% sure we're wording things right. —TombRaiser SPEAK! 22:38, December 14, 2013 (UTC)

Character category[edit source]

Hi, there is no need to add the category Skyrim character to characters. These types of categories are added by default when creating the article with the NPC infobox. Please have a look at the bottom of the page before you add categories. Thanks.. —EbonySkyrim Message! 10:06, December 15, 2013 (UTC)

Oh, I never actually knew that. Thanks. --EternalScroll (talk) 14:08, December 15, 2013 (UTC)EternalScroll

Multiple edits[edit source]

Please limit your changes to a couple of edits. You have in the past hours made edits on several characters about 20 times within 5 minutes on each. That is not acceptable. This is what is considered badgehunting and that is forbidden. If this continues.. so please make all the edits during the same session. —EbonySkyrim Message! 06:36, December 16, 2013 (UTC)

Sorry. I am a new user on this wiki and I have not seen all of the rules. I didn't even know abot badgehunting until you told me about it. Again, sorry. EternalScroll (talk) 00:27, December 17, 2013 (UTC)EternalScroll
Yes, I understand that. That's why it's a good idea to read through the policy and help guides we link to. This is mentioned in the Policies and guidelines we have. Take a few minutes and read some of it. :) —EbonySkyrim Message! 06:13, December 17, 2013 (UTC)
