I don't believe calling someone a sociopath is going to make anyone sympathetic to your cause. I know you've decided to change your thread idea a bit, but even so, you can't act hostile somewhere else in response to anything; it just makes the situation worse. Posting a CT about banning users from threads, then aggressing your opposition further makes you and this wiki look bad; it's not how we want to appear. It's situations like this that causes people from UESP believe that we're a hot mess. Because of this, I edited the two posts together and deleted the problematic section so that the debate doesn't spiral out of control again. Please don't think that I'm targeting you, either; I'm just assessing what's happening now.
- Ottoman, I believe you misunderstood that comment. Commenting that Busaio was a sociopath was not an insult, it was an observation. I myself am a psychopath, and have seen this kind of behaviour before, so simply pointed out that I had noticed, so his explanation as to why he felt the dominating power is automatically the best alliance despite relationships between parties wasn't needed. I kinda see how it's an insult, but that wasn't my intention.
- Also, those were replies to two different people so, you may have just accidentally derailed the conversation. LordOswin (talk) 03:45, March 28, 2018 (UTC)
- Noted...however, it's still not a good idea. Unless you two are best buddies--which, from what I've seen, you aren't--then I'd suggest not throwing observations like that around. They can easily be taken the wrong way, and I didn't want the thread to head in that direction. I'm sorry that you had to edit it for clarity, but it wasn't very obvious to me who you were referring to. By the way, the best way to respond to someone's talk page message is to go to their tp, create a new message with the title, ==Re:(What ever the first title was)==, then post your response there. Otherwise, it's much harder for the user to see what you said.
