ImpersonationEdit

Your name is very much like that of the user MHInfinite, I would like to point out that it is against wiki policy to impersonate another user or to use a sock-puppet account (In case it turns out you are MHInfinite.)

UAM (talk) 20:28, December 28, 2013 (UTC)

It is him. He's having account problems, so he made a new one. —TombRaiser SPEAK! 20:39, December 28, 2013 (UTC)
I probably should have made it clear on my profile that this is just a temp account until I can get back into my MHInfinite account. I've updated my profile now in case anyone else gets confused. MHInf (talk) 11:19, December 29, 2013 (UTC)

Orphaned Online articlesEdit

Hi there, MH. Sorry to hear about your account problem. I was thinking on asking you where should the character articles that you have created be linked on. I initially thought about the Characters (Online) page, but the "[...] a list of characters confirmed to appear..." made me think twice. I'm asking because a lot of your articles are orphaned. —Sky Above,Voice Within · Show thy Voice! 05:21, January 6, 2014 (UTC)

Alright, thanks for the reply. —Sky Above,Voice Within · Show thy Voice! 17:08, January 6, 2014 (UTC)
I am listing these as Mentioned characters. If they appear in the game - well, they appear in the game - otherwise, they are mentioned, and there will probably need to be a page for them somewhere else later anyway (We must have EVERYTHING!) Necessary Articles?Edit

Just wondering whether those character articles which you have been creating are necessary, as they are not confirmed to be in the game? Do they still require an article saying they appear in the game? Maybe, at first you could add the template (mentioned only). Flugsmith (talk) 16:40, January 6, 2014 (UTC)

I think it's safe to assume that these are actual characters from in-game, unless otherwise stated (e.g. Vikalar Skull-Shatterer). Reading the stuff from the interactive map, it's made clear that it's either in-game dialogue, or from a journal, notes, letter, etc, much of which references characters and events confirmed to appear in ESO. MHInf (talk) 17:27, January 6, 2014 (UTC)
Alright, although adding (mentioned only) to articles of this nature is an option until they are officially confirmed to be ingame. But, thanks for the reply. Flugsmith (talk) 17:43, January 6, 2014 (UTC)

Senche-TigerEdit

I am probably wrong (as I normally am) but what exactly does it contradict? Most of what we actually know about the Senche-Tigers is from the first PGE (Which was rather inaccurate due to the whole destruction of knowledge during the Interregnum), and the Novels - which seemed to think the Eucalyptus Leaves are part of the Nirn realm. I actually didnt realise we had a page for the Online version of these (sorry) - but I made sure to put it as an out-of-game reference. Revert if you want too :) TimeoinSay G'DayView my work 10:32, January 19, 2014 (UTC)

I forgot the Dance in Fire books (that one isnt actually listed on the main page - it probably should be). As for the beta footage - Well, they may yet change their mind (and this wiki's policy is to not allow beta-content to be posted). Yeah, the lore-misconceptions may just be a cheap way of writing it off. Remember though, that most of the books from this time were complete rubbish. The Interregnum is comparable to the Dark Ages of our universe. TimeoinSay G'DayView my work 13:40, January 20, 2014 (UTC)

ESO Khajiit Breed Edit

Hi, Im sorry about chaning the info on the khajiits, did not know about that Q&A and based my changes on the info I got about the diffrent khajiit races in the wiki and the fact that the Khajiit in the BETA that was recently, the Khajiits where to big and not digitigrades which are the only diffrences for Cathay and Suthay-Raht ( of course there are more). I understand that if there is a Q&A from the developers that the info from that is more pressing that in-game grapichs.Jorelsin (talk) 12:23, January 19, 2014 (UTC)

Online DaedraEdit

Excuse me, but why are you reverting all my edits? I have references for them.

The information about which Daedra serve their specific princes doesn't change from game to game.

Sincerely (talk) 12:54, January 20, 2014 (UTC)

Hi there, Ned1230. I reverted those edits because they were using other wiki pages as references. When referencing using other wiki pages, they should be in-game or out-of-game books or texts. The information about which Daedra serve which Daedric Prince may change in ESO, just as information about other creatures, characters, and places has changed between games. For example, Dremora serve Mehrunes Dagon in Oblivion, while in ESO they're found in Coldharbour serving Molag Bal. MHInf (talk) 13:02, January 20, 2014 (UTC)

Image categoryEdit

Hi MHInf, please can you add the online category to the images you upload. I'm currently going through uncategorized images to add categories and it's thousands of them. It helps if the images gets categorized when uploaded. You have to add the category on the right side with "Online: Images". Thanks.. —EbonySkyrim Message! 11:52, February 7, 2014 (UTC)

Ok, I'll be sure to do this from now on. Later on I'll try to add categories to all of the images I've previously uploaded as well. MHInf (talk) 13:30, February 7, 2014 (UTC)
Another thing, where does all images come from BTW. Are you allowed to use images from "your" test game or just official images? Question is asked in the forum. —EbonySkyrim Message! 11:49, February 10, 2014 (UTC)
I always leave a link to the article where I found the image in the caption when uploading. The NDA still applies to players sharing their own screenshots and footage, although there's nothing against sharing images and footage released by selected press. MHInf (talk) 14:11, February 10, 2014 (UTC)
Great.. :) Adding more: What about images like this File:Blacksmithing station.jpg this user have uploaded. He must have taken it from when he played. Is that really allowed? —EbonySkyrim Message! 14:18, February 10, 2014 (UTC)
I must have missed that one. I'll add the deletion template to that one too since it also breaks NDA. MHInf (talk) 16:13, February 10, 2014 (UTC)
Deleted :) —EbonySkyrim Message! 22:53, February 10, 2014 (UTC)

Odd imageEdit

Just curious, why did you upload this image? —Sky Above,Voice Within · Show thy Voice! 23:09, February 22, 2014 (UTC)

I uploaded it just as a joke response to a user on the KINMUNE talk page, but it got removed by an admin. It originally came from Michael Kirkbride's tumblr. MHInf (talk) 13:41, February 23, 2014 (UTC)

New pagesEdit

Calling all patrollers to please remember to scout the Special:Newpages. Right now there are several hundred pages needing to be patrolled as many new pages are created these days. I have myself done a lot in the last couple of days but if you have the time, please help. Thanks... —EbonySkyrim Message! 13:30, March 13, 2014 (UTC)

Chat request Edit

Hi MHInf, is it possible you can come onto the chat for a bit? There's something I need to talk about in PM's, just PM me when you are available to do so. :) --SuperSajuuk Talk Page | Tabber Code | Channel 10:57, July 18, 2014 (UTC)

Patroller voteEdit

Hi MHInf, as a result of a re evaluation of patrollers I'm afraid you have been opposed, which means I'm now removing the rights for you. If you get more active you can of course be nominated again in the future. —EbonySkyrim Message! 11:56, September 13, 2014 (UTC)
