Templates Edit

Hey Mondblueme. Just to let you know, it is not necessary to write write {{Template:G}}. The brackets are enough, so you only have to type {{G}} for it to work. ―Atvelonis (talk) 20:32, January 30, 2015 (UTC)

Image size Edit

Hi there Mondblueme. I just wanted to let you know that when taking a photo for an NPC, try to show the whole character and crop the picture to be in the vertical/portrait orientation. When uploading a picture in horizontal/landscape orientation, it tends to make the character appear smaller and harder to see. Thanks for your time. ☞ Rim < Chat with Me | Updates | Edits > 07:32, February 3, 2015 (UTC)

I'd also like to know that in some of your photos the NPC names show up. To stop this, open the console (~ key) and type in the command tm and the UI shouldn't get in the way. It should be noted that there's this issue where you can't turn the NPC names and stuff back on, so I suggest saving each time before typing the command, thanks. ☞ Rim < Chat with Me | Updates | Edits > 22:57, February 4, 2015 (UTC)
Hey Mondblueme. Good job on those quest pages. And by the way, character images should ideally cropped to 600x1000 pixels to maintain the best quality and size. Sorry I forgot to mention that earlier, my bad. Have fun editing! ―Atvelonis (talk) 15:48, February 25, 2015 (UTC)

Morrowind Stuffs Edit

Hiyas. Thank you for doing so much work on the Morrowind pages. There is a 'guild', if you'd like to join us. The Elder Scrolls Wiki:Team Morrowind, that's us. At any rate, thank you and keep up the good work please. :) Gaminomicon (talk) 16:59, March 20, 2015 (UTC) Sounds good to me. :) And yesh, Morrowind needs pretty much everything so whatever you want to add along the way while playing will certainly help. Just edit your name into the list on our guild page and welcome. If you need help or anything feel free to ask. Right now I'm going down the list of locations adding the missing images. Killing time really while working on a new template for characters. Like you, I won't be around forever. :PGaminomicon (talk) 17:56, March 20, 2015 (UTC)
Welcome aboard! Glad to have you mate. :) If I can be of assistance just hit my talk page and I'll get the message, eventually. :P Not much happens quickly around here. Enjoy yourself and keep up the good work please. *sets out the good cookies* Gaminomicon (talk) 18:51, March 20, 2015 (UTC)

Your furry friends Edit

Hey there, I found your furry friends in TESO and added all I could find! Just for you! S hed dä übrigäns nu chuächä :) SWiggels (talk) 21:10, March 21, 2015 (UTC)

Nereverine cult Edit

Hey, I was hoping to get some advice on a morrowind article. Seeing as you are a member of the morrowind guild I figure you will know more then others.

On the article Vivec, there is a redlink for a article for the Nerevarine Cult. For Vivec to be a featured article, that link needs to be either created or removed. From what you know, is there enough information in the game to justify creating the article or should we remove the link?

Thanks, and happy editing.-Cheatcodechamp (talk) 19:43, March 23, 2015 (UTC)

Thanks, I am sorry for not waiting for you longer, but I gave a deadline for the vote and clean on on the article and I am trying my beast to keep to my word, for better or worse. I figured we could remove it or expand it, and by we I mean team morrowind as I have little knowledge on the game myself. Thanks for responding, and keep up the good work.-Cheatcodechamp (talk) 08:53, March 24, 2015 (UTC)

Morrowind Stuffs Edit

Hiyas guildmate. ^_^ I've hit a snag on my data cap so until the 8th of next month I won't be uploading images between the hours of 5 AM and midnight, or doing much editing. Literally will have 5 hours best used for sleeping when I can freely move about online. :/ I've gathered a massive list of images that are missing or need replacing and will be working on that while offline. Mournhold, and the whole Tribunal expansion for that matter, is missing so much it's unreal. Going to focus on gathering every image, location, character and quest for that so if you feel like it, during the coming week you could add a ton of pages in advance of the coming imagery and data. Up to you. With all we've got left on our plate right now all progress is welcome as far as I'm concerned and you've been doing an excellent job. Now if I can just clone you.... :P I'll check on everything after midnight. Hope your day/night goes well and thanks again for all the work. Gaminomicon (talk) 15:38, March 30, 2015 (UTC)

Gratitude Edit

SweetRoll
Have a sweetroll!
Gaminomicon has awarded you a Sweetroll!
Thank you for your work on Morrowind! :)

It may or may not be stolen. :P Gaminomicon (talk) 06:45, April 12, 2015 (UTC)
Hiyas mate. Just wanted to say thank you for your hard work. It's a greatly appreciated. :)Gaminomicon (talk) 06:23, April 27, 2015 (UTC)

Help picking a good article nominee. Edit

Hiyas mate. You've been adding dialogue to pages and other information so I was wondering if you could pick out one of your recent pages that has all the dialogue added and post a link to it on my talk page and User:Timeoin's page. We're hunting for 'good' articles to nominate in the next day or two. What defines 'good' includes the kind of information you've been kindly adding so I think you are more qualified to pick out such articles/pages than me. I'm off for a bit to sleep but hopefully we'll catch up very soon. Good hunting! :) *leaves cookie* Gaminomicon (talk) 06:20, April 29, 2015 (UTC)
My apologies ma'am. :) *leaves giant cookie that turned cannibal during a power outage and consumed thousands of smaller cookies trapped in the bakery* Just don't leave that cookie alone in the kitchen, or near small pets, and you'll be fine. :P
I've still got nothing on the good article front for this month. Next month we should try to have several valid candidates ready as backup. I'm finally making progress on the new character templates so there's that at least. I'll be on a few more hours so if you want to jibberjabber a bit, just bink my page. Gaminomicon (talk) 03:31, April 30, 2015 (UTC)

Chat and stuffs. Edit

Hiyas! :) Come chat if you would. Gaminomicon (talk) 05:39, May 1, 2015 (UTC)

Re: Darius Edit

Hi, I saw your message on Gamin's talk page. I could take a look at the dialogue on Darius if you want. Only thing is I don't know if the bolded text written there is the exact wording in-game or if that is only a bunch of short titles you wrote (haven't played Morrowind, are the beginnings of sentences not capitalized or anything?). So if you could clarify this for me I could clean it up. Happy editing! —Atvelonis (talk) 03:41, May 4, 2015 (UTC)

Darius looks awesome! Thank you for your hard work ma'am. :) Sorry for the day off but I had too much stuffs to do. Should be here for a bit editing some pages if you need me. Gaminomicon (talk) 03:01, May 5, 2015 (UTC)

New Direction Edit

Hiyas mate. Just wanted to thank you for your continued work (presents cookie) and to get your input on the new direction section of our guild page. Seems since writing it I've had very little time to get with you, Tim and Nomar about the goals and stuffs. Let me know what you think. :)Gaminomicon (talk) 06:54, May 15, 2015 (UTC)

Formatting policies Edit

Hey, couple of little formatting things you should know about. First, when you are using quest names in articles they are supposed to be in quotes, not italics. So for example you would say "The Fishing Job," rather than The Fishing Job (this is to more easily distinguish quests from books, locations, and so on). And if you want to add an article to a stub category you should use the {{Stub}} template at the bottom of the article instead of adding the category directly. So for example if you want to categorize a Morrowind character article as a stub, you would do {{Stub|Morrowind|Character}}. Thanks. Happy editing! —Atvelonis (talk) 19:31, June 3, 2015 (UTC)

Exquisite Shirt Edit

Wow, nice work. I created the article to cleanup the redlinks, and then you come along and add all relevant information. I would have done it myself but I barely know anything about morrowind. Keep up the good work. :) Starkiller131 (talk) 19:28, June 8, 2015 (UTC)

Collaborative project Edit

Hey Mondblueme, I suggested to Dovah and Gamin that the Lore Guild and the Morrowind Guild do a collaborative project to improve all the Morrowind-related lore articles on the wiki. Gamin is apparently having trouble coming online, so I am also telling you as well. Is this something you would be interested it? Dovah has already agreed to it, and I figured you might be interested as well.

Also, I'm sure you've heard, but we're having a moot every weekend and I would very much like it if you could attend. It's a bit late for you, 1:00am on Sunday (Switzerland is UTC+1, right?), but if you are able to attend there are a number of ideas that need discussing, and ideally we should have representation from all the guilds. —Atvelonis (talk) 18:03, June 26, 2015 (UTC)

Sounds like a plan then, you and Dovah should work out some of the details sometime. And if you have any suggestions I can pass them on at the moot, since you probably won't be able to make it. Gamin might (emphasis on might) show up, but that's dubious considering he hasn't been on much lately. Still, I am hoping to get a lot done this weekend, but I suppose we'll just have to wait and see. —Atvelonis (talk) 02:19, June 27, 2015 (UTC)

Lore PagesEdit

In answer to your question (and apologies for shortness - Im on my phone) you are correct. Those pages should indeed be re-phrased, and if its at all possible, changed to incorporate other sources as well. (Just off the top of my head, there's that series about the rise of the thalmor, the blades' have their own ones as well, and a few other journals talk about particulars from the war as well.

Best way to find those, would be the the special:whatlinkshere" page. Ill be on sometime tonight, if you have more questions -but in short, yes, it should be changed :) TimeoinSay G'DayView my work 21:50, July 10, 2015 (UTC)

MW Guild Edit

Hey Guys.

With Gaminnomicon inactive, the Morrowind Guild needs new leadership. I ask you guys to take the time to decide who to fill this role with, or how to proceed in general. For the the guild has been marked as inactive and I hope to see active from this guild soon. I am leaving this message on the guild wall and I will message each of you personally as well. I hope all is well.Cheatcodechamp (talk) 05:48, August 31, 2015 (UTC)

Checking in Edit

Hey Mondblueme, just checking in since you haven't made any edits in about a month now. With Gamin indisposed due to health concerns, you're our main Morrowind editor. Is everything okay? Have you been busy or what? —Atvelonis (talk) 20:32, September 22, 2015 (UTC)

Re: Conversations in Morrowind Edit

I was more experimenting with the formatting than actually fixing it. I've used the template on articles like Ulfric Stormcloak and it's worked, but the context was slightly different. It looked a bit awkward the way it was before on Lette but I'm not sure my edit was really an improvement.

We don't have any policies set in stone about documenting dialogue, but most of it is vaguely based off what Jimeee did to Neloth (Dragonborn). I'm still trying to find the best ways to format dialogue in general; while I've got it figured out somewhat, there are still a lot of small issues that need to be looked at. For the time being I think you should probably just stick to what you're doing now because it works pretty well, and we could toss around ideas in the future and see what works and doesn't work. —Atvelonis (talk) 15:32, December 14, 2015 (UTC)

Comprehensive articles Edit

This might be a little bit of a hassle but as you may or may not know already we recently set up a new status category for articles that are essentially as good as Good articles but do not meet the length requirement (quotes, headings, etc. do not count toward the 1000-word minimum). This new type of status is called Comprehensive, and currently we're still trying to add finished but relatively small articles to it. Not just any article can be CA—they should stand out at least somewhat—but as long as it's fully built up and meets all of the requirements, it can usually be CA. A couple examples are Mantella and Lyg. Anyway, a LOT of the pages you've been working on qualify for CA status, and I figured you know a lot better than anyone else which ones you've worked on are the best. So when you get the chance it would be awesome if you could give me a list of articles you've added full dialogue and everything to. The more the merrier. Thanks! —Atvelonis (talk) 20:42, January 23, 2016 (UTC)

Interest Edit

Hey Mondblueme, are you still interested in editing at all? Your edits to Morrowind pages in the past have been incredibly helpful in the expansion of the wiki, we would love to have you editing again if you're still interested. Thanks! —Atvelonis (talk) 18:31, February 1, 2017 (UTC)

Very good to see you back! I hope you plan on sticking around? :) —Atvelonis (talk) 23:15, March 9, 2017 (UTC)

GreenshadeEdit

Hi Mondbleume,

Remember the region of Greenshade is in Valenwood, not Vvardenfell. Thanks.—CarloV3r (talk) 08:53, July 26, 2017 (UTC)

HomesEdit

Hey Mondblueme,

Don't forget to add the Online: Homes category, and the city-specific location category (Online: Marbruk Locations) if the article you're creating is an NPC home article. Thanks for all the ESO content, by the way!—CarloV3r (talk) 09:53, July 28, 2017 (UTC)

NPC location categories Edit

Hey Mondblueme! One thing I want to point out: if you're adding a category like "Online: Marbruk Characters," you don't also have to add "Online: Greenshade Characters" and "Online: Valenwood Characters." These are considered overarching, because the Marbruk category is actually categorized under Greenshade, which is in turn categorized under Valenwood. So just the city category is fine, or if they're found outside a city, just the region category. Let me know if there's anything you need. Thanks. :) —Atvelonis (talk) 16:54, August 2, 2017 (UTC)
