Mace page (Alduin1996)[edit source]

Just wondering how did you come to the conclusion that there was already a mace (Skyrim) page. When I checked it came up page does not exist in a red font —This unsigned comment is by Alduin1996 (talkcontribs) . Please sign your posts with ~~~~!

Butcher and Bouncer[edit source]

I did go to Cragslane, that's what made me look up these NPCs to get the IDs and see if they had the same traits. The Butcher page that you made is still there, I just edited some of the info your wrote in. The Butcher appeared as a Dunmer in my game, you wrote that he was an Altmer. So, that means that the race is radiant. I did look again in the CK for the Bouncer, and it turns out that he is not called "Bouncer" in the CK, so that is why no information on him appeared in my search. His EditorID calls him dunCragslaneOutdoorGuy, without anything written in the name field. I restored the Bouncer page. —TombRaiser SPEAK! 17:17, July 9, 2013 (UTC)

Skyrim: Characters[edit source]

Please stop adding Category:Skyrim: Characters. In many cases, the category is already there. The DLC's Dawnguard and Dragonborn have their own categories. Also, I don't believe there is any decision on adding this category to named creatures, so please stop that, too. Thanks. Kroq-gar78 (talk) 20:57, July 13, 2013 (UTC)

I'm just going to reuse this section. What I said above also applies to races, such as Category:Skyrim: Imperials. Kroq-gar78 (talk) 17:21, August 2, 2013 (UTC)
Ignore the message above. I misread the edit. Sorry about that.
Anyway, yes, I've looked at them. The main reason for not adding these extra categories is because they're not in the base game without the DLC. It's mainly for the sake of cleanliness and organization that we keep them in their own categories. For smaller things like Skyrim: Vampires, we use one big category, since there are not nearly so many that it'll confuse. Kroq-gar78 (talk) 03:03, August 4, 2013 (UTC)

Please be aware that your recent edits have been reverted. All edits are considered to be in good faith, but these edits were construed as nonconstructive, counter-productive, or undesirable. Please do not take it personally. To prevent further reversions in the future, please check out our policies, our Manual of Style, and our Media policy. Thank you! :)

Hi, I reverted your edit to Alea Quintus because she is a Nord, not an Imperial.

Thank you. —AutoBlood Talk 23:39, July 21, 2013 (UTC)

Categories[edit source]

The category Skyrim: Thieves Guild Members exists, so no need to add Thieves. Thanks. Jimeee (talk) 12:41, August 20, 2013 (UTC)

There is absolutely no benefit to readers to group NPCs like Linwe and Grisvar the Unlucky together when they are unrelated. What use is a category for thieves in a general sense? Jimeee (talk) 15:53, August 20, 2013 (UTC)

Adril and Bouncer[edit source]

Hi, Ned1230,

I posted about Adril and Bouncer in Talk:Adril. Could you read Talk:Adril?--Gurgate (talk) 11:50, October 15, 2013 (UTC)

Name's meanings[edit source]

Hello, may i ask you to stop adding the meanings of the names of characters in Icelandic. "Buckle" and "pressure" do not really have anything to do with the character, so it's not relvant. Thanks. —Sky Above,Voice Within · Show thy Voice! 23:34, January 2, 2014 (UTC)

Categories[edit source]

Hi, can I ask you to refrain from adding 'Drug Addicts' and 'Drug Dealers' categories to characters, perhapos 'Skooma Addicts' and 'Skooma Dealers' is more productive, if not I may have to ask a member of wiki staff to revert your edits. Thanks. Flugsmith (talk) 14:15, January 12, 2014 (UTC)

What Flugsmith says should be considered. Please refrain from adding categories referring to very minor characteristics, such as "Anga's Mill Characters" and "Wise Women". In addition, we'd ask you to limit your number of edits to a certain degree, as most of them are really minimalistic in nature and tend to be counter-productive, such as the change in wording that you've done in the Crassius Curo page. Thanks. —Sky Above,Voice Within · Show thy Voice! 20:59, January 12, 2014 (UTC)
You have already been told to stop. What you are doing is considered badgehunting, something that is not allowed by wiki policies. If you keep up with this kind of editing, a block may be issued. —Sky Above,Voice Within · Show thy Voice! 21:20, January 12, 2014 (UTC)
This is a warning, do not add categories that doesn't exist, and if you do not stop you will be banned for badgehunting. Thanks.. —EbonySkyrim Message! 21:46, January 12, 2014 (UTC)
At this point there is no need for such categories.. —EbonySkyrim Message! 22:09, January 12, 2014 (UTC)
The type of word that you chose to replace with was colloquial, and the earlier terms provided a cleaner and overall better reading experience. There are other ways to make the wording different. —Sky Above,Voice Within · Show thy Voice! 22:28, January 12, 2014 (UTC)

J'bari's House[edit source]

Just to let you know that the page J'bari's House is already created. I'm not sure if the other pages that you have created so far are also already created but I noticed this particular one. Fire Wolf Pup (talk) 01:44, January 13, 2014 (UTC)

Italicizing[edit source]

Hi Ned, just letting you know that you only need to add <i> and </i> when in sourcemode to italicize the text in a book. Read more here about style and formatting books. :) —EbonySkyrim Message! 15:25, January 15, 2014 (UTC)

Patroller template[edit source]

Can you please stop adding the patroller template to your profile? You must be nominated by another user and pass the voting process before becoming one. —Sky Above,Voice Within · Show thy Voice! 01:24, January 17, 2014 (UTC)

Tazkad the Packmaster[edit source]

Mind if I ask you why do you keep adding the character category to Tazkad the Packmaster? We won't talk to him or anything of the sort, he is just a boss, his name does not qualify him for being a character. —Sky Above,Voice Within · Show thy Voice! 20:12, January 18, 2014 (UTC)

I saw your summary at the Batum page. Gender should not be included in the lead, if you see it on any page, remove it. —Sky Above,Voice Within · Show thy Voice! 20:18, January 18, 2014 (UTC)

Daedra serving Mehrunes Dagon?[edit source]

Where are you getting the information that all the atronach serve Mehrunes Dagon. Without a proper source please refrain from this. Flugsmith (talk) 21:53, January 19, 2014 (UTC)

RE: Online Daedra[edit source]

Hi there, Ned1230. I reverted those edits because they were using other wiki pages as references. When referencing using other wiki pages, they should be in-game or out-of-game books or texts. The information about which Daedra serve which Daedric Prince may change in ESO, just as information about other creatures, characters, and places has changed between games. For example, Dremora serve Mehrunes Dagon in Oblivion, while in ESO they're found in Coldharbour serving Molag Bal. MHInf (talk) 13:02, January 20, 2014 (UTC)

Warning![edit source]

Useless and harmful edits, like your new blog, on purpose to "hunt" badges are not appreciated. You've been warned. Ikabite (talk) 11:24, January 21, 2014 (UTC)

Leads on books[edit source]

Please do not add leads to books, we removed the autolead some time ago as the games they appear in are listed at the top with their respective main page. There are just a few books that may require a lead. —EbonySkyrim Message! 12:19, January 21, 2014 (UTC)

Stop editing book pages.[edit source]

This is the last time you will be asked. You are continually adding leads to book pages when you was asked not to by an admin. Not only that, but you are not checking your edits and breaking the layout as on "Anvil Tarts Thwarted!". The book pages do not require these edits. Do not edit any more book pages. Jimeee (talk) 12:34, January 21, 2014 (UTC)

Second warning. Stop now.. Don't add the lead again after we have told you not to add it and removed it. —EbonySkyrim Message! 12:45, January 21, 2014 (UTC)
I guess you are ignoring the advice given, so you have been given a 3 day block as your edits are becoming disruptive. Read my last message. Jimeee (talk) 12:46, January 21, 2014 (UTC)

Re Apology[edit source]

Apology accepted.. :) Well, there isn't anything specific I can come up with so just browse and see if there are things that needs to be corrected, like spelling and so on. You can go on and italicizing the content in books if you like. But I also recommend to read through the guidelines now and then to learn more how to make correct edits. —EbonySkyrim Message! 22:37, January 24, 2014 (UTC)

Your recent edits[edit source]

Hi I reverted your edit on Acilius, because he is an imperial and he's a chraracter even though he doesn't appear in game. And on the page Abelone I had too fix your link, instead of adding Dragonborn we do Dragonborn because there is two dragonborn's,  and the link I jsut showed you goes to the Protagonist in Skyrim, and not to the other one if you have any question please tell me. Crazy131 (talk) 00:10, January 26, 2014 (UTC)

That may be true sicne have no knowledge of the creation. However the other reason I revertred your edit is because  he's a male and he is a imperial so those categotries were right, but about the character category we'll have to ask admin about that. Crazy131 (talk) 01:08, January 26, 2014 (UTC)

Redlinks[edit source]

Could you not remove the redlinks. They are a reminder to create an article. Harold Burned-Mane (talk) 21:06, January 26, 2014 (UTC)

Re: Potion (Arena)[edit source]

That's fine that the page was redirected, but marking it for delete would have been better, since limiting un-needed redirects is preferred. Thanks. —TombRaiser SPEAK! 03:06, January 27, 2014 (UTC)

Re: Vandalism[edit source]

If someone reverts your edit, try to find out why. If you tag a page with deletion and someone reverts your edit to remove the tag, adding it back in is considered vandalism. It also starts an edit war. In future, if someone reverts your edit, ask them on their talkpage instead of ignoring the revert and adding it back in. --Speysider Talk Page | Tabber Code | Channel 10:41, February 2, 2014 (UTC)

Deletion template[edit source]

I removed the delete template you added to those articles because they shouldn't be deleted. Pretty simple. > Flugsmith ~ talk // contributions ~ 12:57, February 2, 2014 (UTC)

The use of <i> and </i>[edit source]

Hi Ned, you only need to add then at the begining and and the end. Not for each section.. :) —EbonySkyrim Message! 23:14, February 3, 2014 (UTC)

Please do not remove[edit source]

Hi Ned, please do not remove messages from your talkpage, it's against the policy on the wiki. Unless they are of a personal nature not concerning the wiki. You can however archive and doing so, create a page called User_talk:Ned1230/Archive_1 and then add {{Archives}} at the top of the page. —EbonySkyrim Message! 06:34, February 5, 2014 (UTC)

Archive template[edit source]

Ned, I added the archive template instead and for each new archive page, its added automatically. —EbonySkyrim Message! 12:49, February 5, 2014 (UTC)

Signature[edit source]

Hi Ned, can you please create a custom signature, the code in yours at the moment is too much. Read about it here how to do and if you want to look at others templates, look here. —EbonySkyrim Message! 06:36, February 6, 2014 (UTC)

Sorry you feel that way.[edit source]

I'm sorry that you feel that I "bully" you Ned. I am honest when I say that it is not personal and I only mean the best for the wiki. I'll try and be diplomatic with you in the future when it regards your edits and my edits. I hope we can "make up"(sounds super weird) and put our differences behind us. Thanks. I've noticed that your edits have improved drastically lately :). > Flugsmith ~ talk // contributions ~ 18:44, February 7, 2014 (UTC)

Thanks man :). Glad we could clear that up. Good luck with the editing! > Flugsmith ~ talk // contributions ~ 12:58, February 8, 2014 (UTC)

Hi[edit source]

I just thought I should say thanks for nominating me for Patroller. :) Fire Wolf Pup (talk) 04:14, February 8, 2014 (UTC)
