Happy birthday[edit source]

Happy birthday Rozty! December power! Amulet of Kings (talk) 06:53, December 3, 2018 (UTC)

Re:Agnorith Septim[edit source]

Apologies on adding all the family members. Looking back, it is quite a bit excessive. ThunderStar321 (talk) 20:39, December 19, 2018 (UTC)

Re: Dawnstar and Stormhold items[edit source]

There is a difference between the Camp Ward-type items (Camp Crystal is basically the same thing) and things like the Ailment Ointment. The difference is that the Camp items don't leave your inventory after use, while the others do. I don't think it's enough to warrant a new category, though.

EDIT: I forgot to add this: value and weight aren't a thing in Stormhold. Every item you get takes up one inventory slot, and can be given to Beneca for 1 Aid Point. In Dawnstar, item value exists, but weight still doesn't.

Gaggle Zealot (talk) 03:28, February 1, 2019 (UTC)

Just something I forgot about and figured it was worth mentioning: Are the image sections necessary? In the game items just appear as sacks so if it's needed I can grab the sprite. As far as I know the only real exception to this would be the Stormhold Crystal.

Replacing a picture name[edit source]

Hi here's wendigo,

I'm so sorry, I forgot to replace the name in this | screenshot. This belongs to City of Ash I and it's the final location where the vestige fights the final boss. I added it in the gallery interface and only noticed the name when I was adding the categories. —Wendigohmer (talk) 00:59, April 10, 2019 (UTC)

Hi, here's Wendigo again,
I added an image with the name of screenshot again, is it possible to change to Lion's Tomb.
I was updating the Past in Ruins quest and I needed to add the Yokuda warriors (1, 2 and 3) since they are a spirit from a curse are they design to be a creature or a character? The Vestige has to recover a sword and they will appear to fight him.
Thanks for the help.--—Wendigohmer (talk) 22:10, April 11, 2019 (UTC)

Reply[edit source]

Thank you for the tips and suggestions! I apologize for the excessive amounts of editing. I got carried away with adding information for Blades, but I'm not super familiar with all the special formatting that the wiki pages require. It's just that because of how new the game is, there isn't a ton of information on the game yet and I just wanted to add what information I could. Thank you for properly editing a bunch of my pages, I will try to learn from those references you linked me, to try to save on the editing that you guys have to do!

Bretons[edit source]

I know that race wasn't related to the fact that the forsworn of that one keep become friendly. But it's slightly implied by the fact that the page is literally about bretons as a race. Sorry about any confusion, just trying to make it clearer. Mjtg25 (talk) 01:02, April 13, 2019 (UTC)

Morrowind Bandits/Slavers category[edit source]

According to The Elder Scrolls Wiki:Moot/March 2018, it was decided to merge Morrowind: Bandits and Morrowind: Slavers. However, characters like Dovres Verethi have a specific faction listed in their infobox with a link to "Bandits". From what I understand from the discussion, this faction doesn't matter or exist or something in game? If true, why does it appear in the infobox? And if it is supposed to be in the infobox, then why isn't Morrowind: Bandits a legitimate category? --GuruVirus (talk) 05:04, April 17, 2019 (UTC)

Awesome! Thanks for the clarification. That all makes sense. --GuruVirus (talk) 15:30, April 17, 2019 (UTC)

Re: Skyshard icons[edit source]

Hi Rozty. Really? I didn't know about that. Yes, it's an add-on. I thought that so useful to see more such as location of skyshards and bosses in delves. Anyway thank you for the information. --FrisyN (talk) 16:28, June 3, 2019 (UTC)

The Saviwa wiki Article[edit source]

Hello,

I made an Article in the wiki Saviwa today. I tried to make it the most good I can but I do not know what the sections all are used. I do not have any trivia about this NPC or quotes but he has them for the quest "Relatively Speaking" about these ghosts. And I do not know what the box at the top with the 2 is for, and the NPC info box is not finished. Do you know how I can fix this?

Thank you,

Re: Writing tone[edit source]

The problem with the tone is that I go through a rough draft state and people think they are being helpfull by deleting rather than feedback and let me fix it, so I don't get around to fixing it. I learned about the tone and have fixed it. But rough drafts on huge projects are going to apear like a tone problem. I need people to use common sence. It is verry frustrating when people just don't use their brain and delete and behave in a way that makes things apear as if they are another probelm. It isn't they are perfomring at d student levels and need to be patient and let poeple who wont make it worse help. They can send me a message or give feedback, but they aren't being helpfull, they are keeping it looking like a tone issue or what have you and it isn't helpfull, it's self convincing, illusionary and destructive, as well as parasytic.

It would be nice if they were told to comunicate issues and let people work on it before they just do things and punish. It's like a which hunt, it's prone to errors and it is really, really anoying. Templates are there for a reason, they need to be used, and not just page deleted before the pages don't seem like the argument people are making. It is really frustrating. I guess I will have to use that construction box or give an attention box comunicating stuff, which I've learned as a result of dealing with lack of common sence people and I have evolved, but I have not yet had a chance to apply those skills.

Dutyclaus (talk) 00:58, October 17, 2019 (UTC)

I appretiate the info on how to do it right though. Thank you. I wish I had that kind of feedback, it would have helped.

Re: Mabrigash page[edit source]

Thank you for the information about lore articles, I wasn't aware sources and citations were needed.  I'll definitely keep that in mind moving forward. Vainyth (talk) 06:36, December 30, 2019 (UTC)

Re: Creation Club[edit source]

Hi Rozty, thanks for telling me about y'all don't cover any content added by the Creation Club for Skyrim & the moot about it, I won't edit pages of mentioning content from the CC again. Clyde BlueSnake (talk) 21:30, March 10, 2020 (UTC)

Re: ESO Removed Content[edit source]

Thanks, this is very useful. I found several Loremaster Archives books as well which obviously won't have images, so I will remove the notice from there.

Re: New images[edit source]

I didn't realize that uploading my Jehenna Docks map would overwrite an existing file. Thanks for letting me know. It looks like you beat me to the edit to rename and add it back as well... I appreciate it! Cheers

KernelRiot (talk) 05:06, April 9, 2020 (UTC)

I turned off mods and took the screenshot of the https://elderscrolls.fandom.com/wiki/Jehanna_Docks map location again. I also modified description to add a link to that page and also remove the image quality alert. Is all well now? Thanks for the help here! I've not contributed much if any to a wiki before, so I'm learning as I go! KernelRiot (talk) 00:59, April 11, 2020 (UTC)

Clavicus Vile VA[edit source]

Hello Rozty, i was gonna add even more proof for the fact that Clavicus Vile was indeed voiced by Todd Howard but i just didn't know how to add youtube videos to references.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6G4ckrpWFGc&t=2s

This is the video in question, the person who made it said himself in the video that he wants people to know that Todd voiced him, i just thought i would add it to the wiki as a fun little fact :D. I was as i said gonna link the video at first as proof but i didnt know how, so i went with that interview. The voice is simply altered a bit but you can clearly tell that it's him, simply by slowing the lines down, like the youtuber did.

Daggerfall articles and Linking[edit source]

Thanks for the heads-up regarding the editing. I definitely intend to add more stuff to the Daggerfall articles with time, as I've recently gotten into playing the game extensively. And yeah, as someone who has recently picked up on editing, I'm certainly going to be needing some directions and advise, time to time.

I wasn't really aware of the existece of the source editor and visual editor, and how they differ, in regards to pasting links. I simply select the appropriate word/phrase, and the use the "insert link" option, to paste the appropriate URL(which seems like how one does it on the visual editor). I'll definitely see to it, that I use the more convenient method, as laid down by your guideline, the next time.

For some reason Nulfaga got pictured in my mind as an old man while editing that bit, lol.

Also yes, both the accounts are mine, however the one which recently entered the server is the one I'll be operating. I abandoned the old account quite some time ago, and seem to have forgotten I initially joined the server using it. You're free to remove the older account from the server.
