The vandal Edit
Don't tempt me :P
- And so it begins... :D
I read the Archery (skyrim) page and it is a page about ALL archery, bows, books, perks, and tips also, but i felt it would be good to just narrow it down to just tips and little tricks. But thank you for your suggestion and thank you for reading :)
I understand where you are coming from, but to me, I feel it more convenient to seach exactly what im looking for like "Archery Tips, or "Bows". So i mainly have that page there for people like me who like to read just tips and not have to go through the rest of the stuff on that page.
Hi, Sam samurai,
Just though I'd say hello. And, you joined the wiki on my birthday, and have very similar hobbies to me (reading and writing). Thanks for reading my blog post as well :-)
- -) What kind of charcter do you play on Oblivion/Skyrim?
I'm usually a Nord too. I definatley prefer up-close-and-personal attacks to magic or Archery (hope I spelled that right. It's hard on here without spell-check) I also just started a Wood Elf assasian. What state do you live in?
I Totally understand. That's why I don't have any info on my page, not even my name. I can say I live in the South-West though. :)
I'm guessing it was you who wrote on my talk page, even though you didn't sign. :) I play Halo Reach multiplayer, I've played Oblivion, but unfortunately our disc got scratched and I can't anymore. That's mainly it, I'm not a huge gamer, I just love Elder Scrolls.
I know some people who are really into Halo, and I think it's mildly interesting, but I'd rather spend my turn on Skryim. Sometimes, though, I get fed up with Skryim glitches and play online multiplayer on Reach. The most annoying glitch I've encountered is when Esbern wouldn't talk to me when I was supposed to get the quest for the Blades to slay dragons. He would just say "Yes? Yes? Is thier something you need?", and I had done the whole main quest just so I could join the Blades and do thier quests. Argh! What glitches have you had?
Funnily enough, I never had a problem with that quest, but it seems that many do.
No, I haven't been able to remarry. I don't know wether it's a bug or not, but nobody gives me the converstaion option, and I can't talk to Maramal again :( With my new character, Shae, I married Scouts-Many-Marshes, who can't be a follower, so I hope he won't die on me like Benor did. I don't know why I married Benor, he wouldn't really seem like a reliable, trustworthy, faithful man after he drunkenly brawled me :-) What's annoying about marriage is that you can't remarry if your spouse dies. I guess it gives new meaning to the verse "treasure your wives (or husbands)" Cause there's no one else after them :- ] Aela seems like a good candidate, I heard she's immortal until you complete the Totems of Hircine quest. So you must be a Companian. I am too, although I haven't finished yet, cause I doing Dark Brotherhood now with my other character. Wow, sorry for this block of text. Guess I have a lot to say.
Wow, you're orderly about the whole quest line stuff. I do a little here, a little there, a misc. quest over there. I end up with about thirty misc. quests and ten side quests...your way is probably better. I have done only the Imperial questline, but it seems like if you've done one civil war questline, you've done both. I know thier very similar. I also killed Paarthurnax before I could get the words of power, so now Esbern and the Greybeards won't talk to me. Never liked the Greybeards, the seem old, boring, and too mystic. "oh, the power of the voice" They just don't understand that I could blast them off thier precious mountain if they got under my skin too much :0 FOOS RO DAH.
Here's an idea, the Dragonborn sides with nobody, takes over the empire, and puts the stuck-up High Elves in thier place. Everyone, even the villagers, seem to think that the Dragonborn will do whatever they want whenever they want. "I'm sorry, old lady, I can't kill rabbits for you, because I am a little busy trying to keep the world from ending by a dragon eating it." I mean, for crying out loud! The Dragonborn is more powerful than everyone else put together, and yet he gets sucked into jobs like collecting herbs for an alchemist.
Thats why I joined the Dark Brotherhood. Epic quests. Killing the Emperor. Something worthy of the Dragonborn. I guess Bethesda just forced me to be an assasian :P. Who needs spell check, when you can create epic words on the spot?
Light Armor. The Dark Brotherhood armor is awesome, incresing your skill and all that, but aethetics-wise I like Elven Armor. Yeah, I know people hate the Thalmor, and they wear Elven Armor, but it's so interesting looking that my 'good' character...the one who hasn't joined the Dark Brotherhood...has worn that since the beginning of her game. I'm a charge-straight-into-battle-hack-people-up kinda person too. That's why I dislike elves, hiding in crevices shooting magic or arrows. I just like to move fast, and not be over-encumbered too easily, which Heavy Armor can do to you. Speaking of over-encumbrance, it is surprising how many random tankards or plates one's picked up when one looks at one's inventory. BTW, do you know what time zone this wiki is in? Cause it says that its February 4th right now, and it's still Feb. 3rd. Maybe it's on Australian time?
I know! But the menu system is annoying, so when I accidentally pick up a sword or something I don't want, I don't want to waste time getting it out. So I wait and wait, and get over-encumbered during a dragon attack, and then have to wade through my inventory. Grr. StarlinSkyrim (talk) 01:50, February 4, 2012 (UTC)StarlinSkyrim
Yeah, it's hard after you kill a Dragon cause Dragon Bones are sooooo heavy. I just don't pick them up anymore, because I always get over-encumbered. Who's your favorite follower? Mine is Calder (housecarl of Hjerim) , cause he's strong and isn't complaining all the time, and plus, he's better at using staffs than I am. Erik doesn't work for me. Convinced his father to let him go adventuring, and he left and I never saw him again. I just got off a turn on my Xbox and was sweating it out with a Dark Brotherhood quest where I had to kill this dude in a room full of Stormcloaks. You know those times where you save, like, 100 times during one quest? It was one of those times. What kind of console do you play on? Or PC? StarlinSkyrim (talk) 00:54, February 5, 2012 (UTC)StarlinSkyrim
I prefer Daedra, just for the armor and weapons. I'm usually an Imperial, cause I believe that the Empire should stay unified, just under different leadership, and I really hate Ulfric. Eww. StarlinSkyrim (talk) 02:42, February 17, 2012 (UTC)StarlinSkyrim
I stole his clothes off his dead body...but anyways. Ulfric's clothes aren't as cool as the Emperors clothes. It's funny that you can just walk around in the Emperor's clothes, and no one's a might suspicious. I used to collect clothes, but there's only so much you can do with that....StarlinSkyrim (talk) 15:53, February 17, 2012 (UTC)StarlinSkyrim
