Re: My Contributions to Star-Gazer Herald Edit

Hi, thanks for the message. I'll do my best to answer your questions:

  1. The UI/HUD aren't supposed to be in any images at all, unless they're used to demonstrate something in particular. On PC there is a way to bind a key to show/hide this; check your controls and see if there is a similar option on PS4, and use that for future images if it exists. Regarding the quest indicator, you would either have to install a mod to allow them to be disabled via a hotkey (not sure if you can do this on PS4 though), or just finish the quest and take a screenshot of the NPC afterwards. Also note that for NPC images, only the NPC themselves should be in the image; nothing else is necessary.
  2. The way you took the screenshot initially doesn't allow for a high-quality 600x1000 view of the NPC. You'd have to retake the image from a closer position, so that from head to toe there would be a fairly small amount of space (example), and then crop it to 600x1000.
  3. Is there any way you could change the settings on your PS4 to take screenshots in PNG automatically? I know that on PC you can do this by using Print Screen rather than the Steam F12 screenshot button, but I don't know if it's possible for consoles.

If that last bit isn't possible, I suppose it's okay to just convert the images to PNG format. The conversion will negate any improvements gained from being a PNG but there won't really be a net loss in quality.

If you have a PC that can run ESO, that would make this whole process infinitely easier. That might not be possible though. However you should know that our PNG rule is more of a very strong suggestion rather than a rule… you can upload images in JPG. To quote the policy page, "If you have the option, consider uploading your file in PNG format." So as long as it meets every other requirement, it's alright, but PNGs are definitely preferred. —Atvelonis (talk) 19:05, June 9, 2016 (UTC)

Re: New Stub Template Documentation Edit

Thank you, it looks very good! The only change I made was changing Dawnguard to Bloodmoon, as there is currently no Dawnguard: Armor Stub category for some reason (probably none of those stubs left). —Atvelonis (talk) 22:24, September 3, 2016 (UTC)

Re: East Mournhold Wayshrine ReferenceEdit

I went ahead and put back the reference with the info you provided. Thank you for helping out with that. The Cat Master (talk) 19:29, December 2, 2016 (UTC)

To Answer Your Edit Summery QuestionEdit

It works. I'm not sure if the page is supposed to exist because it doesn't have any links to it (I'm guessing an admin will read this TP post so they can answer that) but as it stands, the redirect works perfectly.

Happy editing, The_CrusaderTalkpage06:44:33 December 27, 2016_
