Re: Gold Ore, Kolskeggr Edit

Hello, I saw your message on the Cat Master's talk page. There are 17 ore veins, maybe you are confused because some of them are one next to another. --Rupuzioks (talk) 15:15, August 21, 2018 (UTC)

Re: Slaughterfish/Sea of Ghosts Edit

Hello, I checked the CK and in every location they are found there are only 1, 2 or 3 of Slaughterfish, except one location has 4 of them. Not sure at which specific location you are referring. Also Slaughterfish eggs are different from an actual creature. --Rupuzioks (talk) 18:21, August 21, 2018 (UTC)

I know it's Sea of Ghosts, but it is a large area, there might be multiple locations of 1, 2 or 3 Slaughterfish. In CK all outside areas are called Wilderness, it's too much to check every one of them. The fact is there are 103 Slaughterfish in the entire game. --Rupuzioks (talk) 18:29, August 21, 2018 (UTC)

Re: Wuuthrad Edit

Hello, I read your question and I can't understand what you mean. If you are asking about the Lore, then you should ask someone who is more knowledgeable than me, like Nekyn. --Rupuzioks (talk) 13:41, August 23, 2018 (UTC)

I still don't understand the question. Maybe because the English is not my native language. The blood is the quest item anyway, or are you asking who the Orcs are good against. --Rupuzioks (talk) 14:23, August 23, 2018 (UTC)

Re: KnivesEdit

There are exactly 600 normal knives in the base game, I personally checked this myself in the Creation Kit. The page is not meant for the lootable variation, but the one that can't be picked up. Both the Dwarven Knife and lootable weapon knife are separate items that each have their own page distinct from the item one. —Rozty (talk) 07:18, August 24, 2018 (UTC)

I see, thanks for pointing that out. I'll move the image to the correct page. —Rozty (talk) 02:49, August 25, 2018 (UTC)

Re: Bleak Falls Edit

Hello, Bleak Falls Barrow doesn't have a "DragonLair" keyword in CK. The location must be only visually similar to a Dragon Lair. Maybe you should ask Atvelonis if the location must be considered as a dragon lair. --Rupuzioks (talk) 14:35, September 1, 2018 (UTC)

Bleak Falls Barrow is classified in the Creation Kit as a Nordic Tomb, not a dragon lair, even though dragons may be found there. The CK is seen as a more reliable source than in-game appearances because things are explicitly defined in it. So you shouldn't change the current "type" parameter in the infobox. If you want to make a note about the dragon's appearance in trivia somewhere, feel free. —Atvelonis (talk) 18:53, September 1, 2018 (UTC)

Re: Mount Kilkreath Edit

Do you mean Mount Kilkreath (the mountain) or the Kilkreath Ruins (the dungeon)? The former does not have an entry in the Creation Kit, as far as I can tell. Kilkreath Ruins has the LocSetNordRuin keyword (if it were a dragon lair, it would say LocTypeDragonLair) so that's how we classify it. I'm pretty sure all of the dragon lairs are marked correctly on the wiki, since we've been using the CK since it came out. —Atvelonis (talk) 06:30, September 2, 2018 (UTC)

Edits Edit

Hey Mictlantecuhtli, when you're adding content to articles, could you try to keep your revisions to as few discrete edits as possible? Preferably, you would add everything you want in only one edit. You can always use the "preview" function on the right rail of the Source Editor before publishing, as well as draft on a personal sandbox. Our patrollers have to check through every edit made to the wiki individually, so it's a lot easier for them if you make a small number of big edits to a single page rather than a large number of small edits.

Speaking of the Source Editor, I notice that some of your edits have been made using Wikia's proprietary VisualEditor rather than with Source. VE is a nice way to get started with editing, but it causes a lot of formatting errors (like randomly adding <nowiki></nowiki> tags to articles, spacing issues, etc.) and I think it doesn't actually teach you the fundamentals of editing that well. Source also lets you do a few things that you can't do in VE. To fix this, you should set Source as your default in the "Editing" tag of Special:Preferences.

If you're ever confused about the syntax, you can always ask a staff member for help or check my editing guide. Let me know if you have any questions. Thanks. —Atvelonis (talk) 19:56, September 13, 2018 (UTC)

Re: Rowboat Edit

Hello, you were right, it is not a random gems, in the CK there are Flawless versions of Diamond, Ruby and Garnet, alongside with regular Garnet, Ruby and Emerald. I don't know about the saving and reloading, but apparently they should be there. That's why I didn't include back the saying about the saves. The specific coordinates are (Wilderness -36, 1). --Rupuzioks (talk) 17:02, September 21, 2018 (UTC)

Yeah, that's probably the case, I'm leaning towards the sink one. You can check the underwater area for it. --Rupuzioks (talk) 18:09, September 21, 2018 (UTC)

Re: Soul GemsEdit

As I already explained in one the edit summaries (the first time I pressed publish too soon and left a cut-off message), if a location is random then it should not be recorded. In this case, it is not certain that the specific soul gem would appear, so it was removed. I am still unsure what you mean by automatons though. If there are is any similar information of chance encounters in other pages then it should also be removed. Containing every possible location of such items is too much and just clogs the page. —Rozty (talk) 21:31, September 21, 2018 (UTC)

Yes, that is why this piece of information was removed from the pages that were about the different soul gem types and stayed in Soul Gem (Skyrim). Including it in all of is not necessary. —Rozty (talk) 21:41, September 21, 2018 (UTC)
The soul gem locations could use an overhaul, honestly, but what Rozty is trying to say is that unless the specific soul gems are set to occur there every time, then the information belongs only on the regular Soul Gem (Skyrim) page. The Automatron point, as well as the others, will be moved to there as well soon enough. Ottoman Hold Message Me My Action 09:44:59 September 21, 2018

Re: Missing In ActionEdit

If that's the case, then I'll go ahead and remove that if you haven't already. Thanks for that, I need to install the Special Edition myself at some point, but have been stubborn about it. Rozty (talk) 07:55, October 13, 2018 (UTC)
