Hey Ser Pounce. You're only really supposed to archive your talk page when it gets really large. Our policy is to only archive it when it has reached at least 25 messages, so in the future remember this. By the way, thanks for all your contributions recently. Have fun editing! —Atvelonis (talk) 03:51, March 25, 2015 (UTC)

Seems like a really bizzare policy to me, considering I was archiving my own my talk page and not messing with somebody else's. but if those are the rules' i'll follow them. --Ser Pouce-a-lot (talk) 13:16, March 25, 2015 (UTC)
It is indeed a bizarre policy that was never discussed with the community but randomly added by a former sysop here. I made a thread here if you wish to provide your opinion about it, since it makes no sense.
Also, I should point out that it's a policy, not a word of law. It only determines best practice. --Sajuuk talk | contribs | Channel 13:21, March 25, 2015 (UTC)

Re: Arena raiment articles

Hey, it's no problem at all. I made a lot of mistakes in formatting and all that too when I first joined the wiki, we all did. Hell, I probably got corrected twenty times before I started to get the hang of things. And don't feel sorry about the archive thing, the policy was probably going to be reevaluated eventually anyway. See you around, and happy editing! —Atvelonis (talk) 02:14, March 26, 2015 (UTC)

re: gallery placement

I don't really know to be honest. I have a mutual dislike for galleries, unless it's for slideshows, otherwise it just looks like the article is more about the pictures than it is about the actual text. The galleries, in all honesty, need to be removed, they're overused to the point of uselessness. --Sajuuk talk | contribs | Channel 17:46, March 26, 2015 (UTC)

Your best bet is probably to create a consensus discussion thread here and request a sysop (such as Atvelonis or Cheatcodechamp) to highlight it. I do believe that the policies will be properly reviewed very soon in any case (and I hope that it doesn't result in some people throwing their toys out of the pram because people complain about bad policies ;)) --Sajuuk talk | contribs | Channel 17:57, March 26, 2015 (UTC)
I can't say that I agree with the removal of galleries in any way, Sajuuk. Images are very important to articles, and for articles like Solstheim, galleries are completely necessary to illustrate the nature of what the thing in question. It's ridiculous to suggest removing these valuable images. But regarding their exact placement in articles, I'm not sure. It doesn't mention it in the Style and formatting guide that I can tell, but I usually put it before trivia and bugs myself. —Atvelonis (talk) 18:07, March 26, 2015 (UTC)
Not all galleries are useless, but wouldn't it just be easier to place them in the article so that they have context? Remember, a wiki is primarily based on text, it's not really supposed to be an image host for every little image that exists, otherwise there's no point having text based articles at all. There are some articles on the wiki which are just primarily based on a gallery of pictures, which really isn't what the wiki should be about in any way. --Sajuuk talk | contribs | Channel 18:28, March 26, 2015 (UTC)

Hey there, thanks for adding the Bugs template to those articles missing it! Just wondering if you can hop on chat? --Sajuuk talk | contribs | Channel 17:29, April 8, 2015 (UTC)

Thanks for notifying me, I've deleted it now (it was complete spam as far as I could tell). Happy editing! —Atvelonis (talk) 17:53, May 5, 2015 (UTC)

Re:Heading changes

Hey, no you didn't use the wrong format, I just prefer using Known Locations over locations because it implies where an item is at. I'm sorry about not informing you earlier about the changes you made, if you haven't noticed I don't edit as much. Because of this I can only make so many edits in a short amount of time. Now that that is out of the way; I'll give you some advice if you prefer using locations as a heading that's fine, but add the sub heading 'Known locations under it. Here I'll show you an example below. Add it like that without the Nowiki templates of course. Thanks and happy editing. :) Starkiller131 (talk) 19:52, June 3, 2015 (UTC)

My opinion may condiract my earlier edits. I think you should use Known locations, however I prefer you use Locations and then add a sub heading saying Known locations. I can help you with this if you want so it goes faster. Hope this clears things up. Starkiller131 (talk) 20:06, June 3, 2015 (UTC)

Re: Location headers

"Known locations" and "Locations" are generally interchangeable, but I generally only use "Known locations" on book articles and "Locations" on most everything else. It doesn't really make sense to use both, that's a bit redundant. And regarding the <br> thing: I'd say you're right, it does make it look cleaner with it at the front of the IDs as well, especially because of how long they are. Dunno what I was thinking there. You can use it with the <br> at the beginning or without, whichever you like more you can go with (they will both work, it's not horribly important anyway). —Atvelonis (talk) 03:07, June 4, 2015 (UTC)

Hey Ser Pouce, could you come on chat if you have a moment? There is something I want to talk to you about. Thanks. —Atvelonis (talk) 14:09, June 23, 2015 (UTC)

Sorry, I had an Internet issue earlier but I'm back on chat now. —Atvelonis (talk) 14:32, June 23, 2015 (UTC)

Re: Decision

That's good to hear Ser Pouce. I wish you luck. —Atvelonis (talk) 16:26, June 25, 2015 (UTC)

Ill fix that right away. I got a redlink when I used Ser, so I thought Sir was the correct way. Ill figure that out. I am sorry for spelling it wrong.-Cheatcodechamp (talk) 04:34, June 28, 2015 (UTC)

Rights Approved

Your application has been approved. Congratulation. The big change will be you are able to mark articles as patrolled. if you go to Special:Newpages, you will see articles that are highlighted in light blue. There articles are new and are not yet marked as patrolled. Going to the article and scrolling to the bottom you can mark it.

You should know everything else and how it works. If not just ask.

Thanks, and happy editing.-Cheatcodechamp (talk) 00:06, July 2, 2015 (UTC)

Yeah, what CCC said. If the article has all appropriate categories, infoboxes, etc. then it should be marked as patrolled. Well, you get that and the rollback tool as well, which is basically a really fast undo button. It's generally only supposed to be used in case of vandalism. But congratulations on patroller Ser Pouce! I'm sure you'll do well in the position. —Atvelonis (talk) 01:06, July 2, 2015 (UTC)
This message is more of a congrats than a thing about your rights being approved. :P Anyway, congrats and good luck. Starkiller131 (talk) 20:28, July 2, 2015 (UTC)
Congrats on making Patroller. I am excited to see what new things you provide for the wikia! JurassicGirl (talk) 04:37, July 8, 2015 (UTC)

It's a bug from Flags, nothing that any of us can sort out. It should be reported to Wikia via Special:Contact/bug. --Sajuuk 16:49, July 3, 2015 (UTC)

Hello! I noticed you edited my new articles. What do you think? Is everything all right? I only have a couple of days here and this is my first work. I could use some feedback or information, whatever. :)

Sweetroll Scrolls (talk) 00:56, July 16, 2015 (UTC)

Hey! Remember me? I have a question already. I see other articles about NPCs that have templates with a chart with information. The templates I add only ask for an image, but you changed that in an article I wrote for the one with the chart. How do you do that? Do you know how to create a template with both the chart and the image?

Thanks for the help :)

Sweetroll Scrolls (talk) 04:40, July 16, 2015 (UTC)

Thanks for the advice! :)

I´m still having trouble with templates, I can´t cut the one I want and if I copy-paste I only get this * in the new article. Those you´ve added are excellent but they won´t show the image after typing its name and publishing. Maybe you could tell me how to solve this. Thanks for helping :)

Sweetroll Scrolls (talk) 18:49, July 16, 2015 (UTC)

Thanks! I can´t believe the mistake I was making was such a silly thing. You've helped me a lot! (:

About this:

{{OnlineNPCs |image = |race = |gender = |level = |class = |skills = |faction = |rank = |services = |occupation = |location = |region = |province = |quests = |voice = }}

I haven't changed it, I think it changes itself when I edit something different in an article, I don't know how to stop that from happening. Do you know how to avoid that? Or how to stack it again?

Thank you, again :)

Sweetroll Scrolls (talk) 20:38, July 16, 2015 (UTC)

Sorry about the template about you. I was talking about the info. chart for NPCs |level= |voice= etc. hahaha.

Sweetroll Scrolls (talk) 20:40, July 16, 2015 (UTC)

Yes, it's weird, because I don't even know where all those codes are written. ):

Troll / Spammer

Someone on the TES Chat is trolling and he also made this page... ℛℯɲɀӼѴᶅ ← ᴛᴀʟᴋ 15:31, July 22, 2015 (UTC)

His account wasn't hijacked... If you see how he behaves on the chatroom, you'd know... One second he is talking nice then the next he'd be cursing and typing in all caps saying it was his brother... He is still on the chatroom right now and trolling everyone, there are no mods on the chatroom. :( ℛℯɲɀӼѴᶅ ← ᴛᴀʟᴋ 15:52, July 22, 2015 (UTC)
Some guy spammed the chat with my account and made a weird page. im sorry —This unsigned comment is by HelBOi! (talkcontribs) . Please sign your posts with ~~~~!
Even if the user claims to be hacked, the TOU states that a user is responsible for any contribution. So he'll be blocked by a sysop at some point anyway for the vandalism. --Sajuuk 17:44, July 22, 2015 (UTC)

Oblivion "poor formatting" tag

So I noticed the "poor formatting" tag was added to the TES IV: Oblivion article, I've read it over but can't see anything wrong with it. What needs to be changed? DRAEVAN13Dc.png 20:02, July 22, 2015 (UTC)

Re: Vandal

Thanks Ser Pouce. I've deleted the article now, and he has been blocked for three days. He can still edit his own talk page while blocked if he has anything to say to us, but if he causes any more trouble he'll be blocked again. Thanks again. —Atvelonis (talk) 01:18, July 23, 2015 (UTC)

Question - would it help you any if Scathecraw was also in ESO? (It exists physically, i.e. you can see it, and identify it clearly as Scathecraw - but it isnt an interactible item, due to the much more limited Alchemy options of the MMO mechanics. TimeoinSay G'DayView my work 15:52, July 27, 2015 (UTC)

Wait ... Now i *am* confused - I thought Gleamblossom actually DID appear in-game in ESO? (I.e. it was actually named as such? TimeoinSay G'DayView my work 16:22, July 27, 2015 (UTC)
That is entirely possible - 1 am starts are not healthy for ANYONE. :\ I guess the question is - should we do what you suggested for Scathecraw. (Alternatively - should Gleambossom have a separate page for its online Easter Egg? TimeoinSay G'DayView my work 17:00, July 27, 2015 (UTC)

I can't upload a picture

Ser Pounce-a-lot how do I upload a picture it keeps saying "promission error"? Bloody Swords1 (talk) 15:18, August 5, 2015 (UTC)

The article I did on Children

Ser pounce-a-lot did you have to delete the article I did on the Children page? I've looked on the Internet and a lot of people don't know how to do it. It could of brought a lot of people to this website to see how it's done. Bloody Swords1 (talk) 17:02, August 5, 2015 (UTC)

Thank you

Thank you so much. It was my first ever post too. Bloody Swords1 (talk) 17:20, August 5, 2015 (UTC)

Good day, thank you for fixing Mind Shriven Horse article. This template system is new for me. Do you mind if I ask for your help with editing pages on the wiki?

What happened to my profile

I don't know where else to ask this so i'll ask in my talk page. Maybe somebody can answer. What happened to my profile? The collapsibe tables can no longer collapse. I also noticed this problem in articles with collapsible tables as well. (Eg. Keys (Oblivion)) I guess it must be a glitch with wikia, since my profile in the Fallout wiki has had this problem for a while. I hope it gets fixed soon, because my profile looks kinda crappy now. Ser Pouce-a-lot (talk) 02:56, August 11, 2015 (UTC)

also the patroller and MOTM things are missing from the name plate on my profile, and other patrollers profiles as well. Ser Pouce-a-lot (talk) 03:03, August 11, 2015 (UTC)

I think there might have been some changes to Wikia recently. - that said, I use source edit, so I dont see them very often? :) TimeoinSay G'DayView my work 16:10, August 11, 2015 (UTC)

Help with editing

Hello again, good sir, I wrote you the other day. I added an article to http://elderscrolls.wikia.com/wiki/Minotaur_%28Oblivion%29

this page, but I don't know how to link some names to their respective pages. Could you please fix this, and, if you don't mind, explain to me the process?

Mister Serpent (talk) 10:27, August 16, 2015 (UTC)

Belharza page

Thanks a lot for your advises. I saw what you did in Minotaur page and did simular to Belharza page. But I need help again. My changes were undone due to lack of source. I used your link, but I thinking this is not enough, I added links to pictures source in their descriptions - Michael Kirkbride's posts. But I think they are not working correctly.

Could you please fix this?

Mister Serpent (talk) 20:20, August 16, 2015 (UTC)Mister Serpent

I've added the source of the photos to their file page and have revised the Belharza page. Thanks for you help Serpent. ☞ Rim < Talk | Updates | Edits > 02:17, August 17, 2015 (UTC)
