Smuggler (Morrowind): Name

Just checked, the in-game name is 'Viciously clawed dead smuggler', but the ID is "smuggler dead 03" (although i didn't manage to spawn it, so the actual ID could be something else). AgentOfMara (talk) 12:01, July 9, 2016 (UTC)

Hey, I just want to ask what happened with the categories. It makes sense for them to be there. Especially for Lore: Cities. Just because they appear in a game doesn't mean they're apart of lore. It's like saying Skyrim isn't a lore location because it had it's own game. --Vincentius1 (talk) 00:48, July 29, 2016 (UTC)

Tagging poor quality images

Hi Cat Master,

I happened to see you tagged a couple of images added by Lanieriloo. I thought I'd just let you know that the template has been updated, you're now supposed to add {{Imagequality|reason|game/dlc}} instead of {{Imagequality|reason}}

CarloV3r (talk) 10:22, August 7, 2016 (UTC)

Ey, you legend.

I appreciate the images being added. Thanks. o/

I already confirmed that this quest indeed is called Nimhe, the Poisoned One. Neutralizing Nimhe name is only at Skyrim official guide. --Rupuzioks (talk) 18:36, August 29, 2016 (UTC)

Guilds and glory

Is the Guilds and Glory DLC bundle just like the ESO Gold Edition, but for players who already own the base game? If so, it would be good to link them to each other. —Atvelonis (talk) 17:15, September 2, 2016 (UTC)

Hey, so I know you're taking a break right now, but could you come on the chat for a couple minutes sometime? There's something quick I'd like to talk about; it's not anything pressing, so there's no rush. I can probably get on anytime this week, so let me know what time works for you. Chorrol Recommendation Quest ID

Hi Cat Master,

I saw the Chorrol Recommendation article was in need of a quest ID, so I took a look at the Oblivion Construction Set. I found 2 quests ID's (The quest has 2 parts, both with seperate ID's). Do you happen to know how I'd properly format that in the infobox?

CarloV3r (talk) 18:07, September 7, 2016 (UTC)

In-game, the quests are actually referred to as 'Fingers of the Mountain' and 'Fingers of the Mountain, Part II'. While all the other Mages Guild recommendation quests are called <insert county name here> recommendation, the Chorrol one isn't.

CarloV3r (talk) 18:30, September 7, 2016 (UTC)

Bitter Cup

I can confirm that in Construction Set this item is called Bittercup. --Rupuzioks (talk) 17:24, September 12, 2016 (UTC)

Effect stubs

Hello, I saw you are removing stub template from effects. I added this template because there are still some spells and items to be added. But if you see it's ok to remove then do it. I'll keep in mind about your decision, so I won't add the template in other effect pages I'm rewriting. --Rupuzioks (talk) 19:15, September 30, 2016 (UTC)

You just changed the formatting I used in an info box.  User:Atvelonis has been cleaning up after me by making exactly the edits I made to formatting.  Personally, I don't care which style is used, it is simply meaningless syntax to me.  But getting exactly contradictory corrections is somewhat bothersome.  Is there someplace where that particular style is documented?  I confess that I have not read everything, but I have read a lot.  I did not see it in what I read.  I will conform to prevailing style, no problem, can we figure out what that is between the experienced participants? Alma J Wetzker (talk) 20:27, October 7, 2016 (UTC)

Hello, maybe you will clear about formatting of the spell article. I saw you remove the link to Spells (Morrowind), but I got a message from The Crusader of Truth that it is needed there. You can check my talk page to see what he wrote. Thanks in advance for an advice. --Rupuzioks (talk) 18:49, October 25, 2016 (UTC)

The page was locked until December due to the edit war. If you two feel that any lore information you provide is correct and want to add it to articles, then you need provide some sources to back it up. Otherwise, it looked to me like you two were just taking your arguments from the forums to the main page. The Cat Master (talk) 18:39, October 31, 2016 (UTC)
Fair enough, but if I provide the sources on the discussion page, I expect you to enforce it once the page becomes unlocked.(Sports72Xtrm (talk))

Adding Unrefined Greenmote Trivia to the list

RE: The Update of the Trivia on the Unrefined Greenmote

G'Day Cat Master.

Cheers for Updating the Trivia section on the Unrefined Greenmote Page which added my findings :)

I know you have thousands of edits already on your tally and may I ask that you add it to the Nirnroot Page as well.

I'm guessing the Pitcher Plant was 1 of the Companions as well But was never added as such as it can't be harvested and added to the Inventory to see if it is indeed a Companion for Potion Making with Nirnroot & Unrefined Greenmote as well.

Thanks for the help & the well needed edit :)

Many thanks

Many thanks for Both Edits and additions/changes to both pages.. I'll Write down the Types and Strengths of Both Poisons (When you hit Master Level and can use 1 Ingredient instead of 2)  AND the Combined Poison made when Both are combined as well (If Needed) to help Everyone out ..

(that's if there's enough space on the wiki page to add the extra info)

Many thanks again mate on a job well done.

ESO Super Walkthrough

Heya :) Sorry for any confusion at The Elder Scrolls Online Super Walkthrough. This is a page Fandom has worked out with the game's makers, in the hopes of driving even more traffic here! I'm just the employee who's implemented the design, so I don't know much more than what was needed to create the page. If you need any more information, lemme know, and I'll try to find the answers! Thanks :) -- CzechOut 19:30, November 14, 2016 (UTC)

Hey again :) I very much appreciate your concern about inappropriate pages ending up on the wiki. However, in this case, we are working with Bethesda to improve coverage of TESO on the wiki, and to draw in more users.
After talking with some other people at Fandom, I think I can say that what happened here was the unusual case of negotiations with Bethesda moving at such a swift pace that we weren't able to loop in local admin as we traditionally would. All three main admin have now been sent a message to encourage them to look at the finished product at around 5pm PT today.
I've also protected the page for a few hours so that some other Fandom staffers can add the finishing touches. I hope you won't view this as a kind of "edit war", but rather just an attempt to let us finish the page. Thanks :) -- CzechOut 20:39, November 14, 2016 (UTC)
I think your latest comments are completely fair. You're very right: we should have talked with you guys earlier. In truth, I'm as shocked as you about how swiftly this thing moved today. I'm going to make sure that your comments are added to our ticket. Also, I understand from talking with Flightmare elsewhere today that you guys might be unfamiliar with the whole concept of a Super Walkthrough or Instant Expert. They have a pretty long tradition here at Fandom, but here are some recent examples in case you're unfamiliar with the form:
-- CzechOut 21:58, November 14, 2016 (UTC)
Thanks much for kicking the tires on the final iteration of the page. We really appreciate that! And, no, you didn't at all come across as a jerk or anything similar. You were just doing your job as a patroller! -- CzechOut 14:15, November 15, 2016 (UTC)

Quest Level

With the One Tamriel update, levels are a bit wonky.  Are we still including them on Quest pages?  How do we find out what level the quest is intended for?  Am I asking the right person?  Thanks! Alma J Wetzker (talk) 01:43, November 22, 2016 (UTC)

FWIW, Every quest, monster and NPC has been made level appropriate for the Character, in every location in the game.  Level used to be very important as a measure of difficulty, now, it is totally dependent on the Character, and meaningless. Alma J Wetzker (talk) 04:30, November 23, 2016 (UTC)

Hi, I noticed that you took out the slideshow. I just want to why. I don't see why you had to take it down. --Vincentius1 (talk) 00:02, November 25, 2016 (UTC)

Re:Crown Store project

Hi Cat Master,

Well that comes as sort of a shock. I really hope you think about resigning your staff position, because I'd personally hate to see such an amazing patroller and contributer as yourself go. I can't force you to stay, obviously. But again, I'd hate to see you go. As for the Crown Project. I'm sorry to tell you this, but I've got little experience with ESO. From the looks of it though, the project doesn't really require any in-game experience. It's basically adding new available content on the Crown Store to the article, right? —CarloV3r (talk) 21:31, December 1, 2016 (UTC)

I almost had a small meltdown when I saw you were considering resigning. I can take over duties for updating the Crown Store page if that'd help. I am familiar with it and ESO. I can assure you that if your contributions were to whittle down to vandalism reversion for a while (as mine have been for some time now), that'd be still considered extremely valuable.
Bronkiin (talk) 21:36, December 1, 2016 (UTC)
Going to echo Carlo and Bron here - you're one of the best patrollers we've had, it would be a real shame to see you resign. There's no problem with taking a break from the wiki if real life is catching up to you! I've been awfully busy for the past few months and there isn't much I can do about it. Still, I try to get on when possible and do maintenance, handle block/deletion requests, and other administrative functions. This type of low-energy editing state, where you just do what you can and avoid stretching yourself too thinly, is nice if you need a break from constantly scouring over every edit in Recent Changes. Please consider sticking around - you're an invaluable editor. —Atvelonis (talk) 02:51, December 2, 2016 (UTC)

East Mournhold Wayshrine Reference

I noticed your edit summary for East Mournhold Wayshrine stated the website no longer exists, which I thought odd, so I checked... still exists, they just changed the URL where their videos are (/en-us/media/videos instead of /en/media/videos), and removed individual video pages, so you have to link directly to the video on YouTube now.

The reference that you removed could be restored and changed to point to An Introduction to The Elder Scrolls Online on YouTube. The list of videos can be found here: (talk • contribs) 19:04, December 2, 2016 (UTC)

Both Tiger and Mountain Lion walk on four legs, Maiq walks on two. Really, he doesn't resemble either in the slightest, the only similarities that they have is that they are Khajiiti, nothing else. A senche would resemble a mountain lion or a tiger, but Maiq isn't a senche. Blademaster Jauffre (talk) 19:56, December 5, 2016 (UTC)

Super Walkthrough update

Hey hey :)

Just wanted to give you a li'l heads up. Yesterday, Bethesda requested changes to Super Walkthrough:The Elder Scrolls Online. That means I'll be doing some work on the constituent templates in the coming days.

The main changes will be done to Template:ESO Continents, which Bethesda feel needs to be tweaked to present geographical information with a bit more impact for the player. The changes are a direct response to their notes, and will give a little more information about each region.

Feel free to reach out to me if you have any questions. -- CzechOut 17:23, December 7, 2016 (UTC)

Relax. You didn't insult anyone, you were just tired of having to deal with a user consistently uploading images that do not live up to our standards. It's understandable. You're an excellent patroller, nobody thinks you're a lousy patroller just because you expressed your displeasure with one's edits. It's perfectly fine. Don't take any rash decisions, we really can't afford losing a patroller of your value at the moment. —CarloV3r (talk) 10:16, December 9, 2016 (UTC)

I still agree with Carlo here, but if you really want to resign, that's your choice. I am impressed that you had the integrity to recognize a mistake and own up to it, though, so thank you for being so honest. I'll give you a few days to think about it in case you change your mind; if you still want me to, I'll remove your rights after that. Just know that you are an excellent patroller, and if you resign, you're certainly welcome to have the position again in the future. —Atvelonis (talk) 13:24, December 9, 2016 (UTC)
It's perfectly fine, don't worry about it. It's completely understandable that real-life issues can sometimes conflict with the wiki, or affect your behaviour on the wiki. In all honesty, I didn't bat an eye when I saw the edit summary before I got your message. It obviously might be a little rude, but sometimes it takes a harsh comment to get a user to stop their (in this case) bad image uploading. In conclusion; For me, personally, it doesn't matter if you happened to be a tat "rude" to a user. You're an amazing patroller, you've really helped me out during my first period on the wiki, and I hope you stick around for much, much longer.—CarloV3r (talk) 19:54, December 9, 2016 (UTC)

Trivia & Question

G'Day again Cat Master :)

Found a Page that reminded me of Umaril the Unfeathered .......

Suss this Page out as it's an online book (as you know I don't play TES Online) and tell me if this is a Technical Refrence to him as it could be him or an Ancestor or relative as well..

Reminded me of the Knights of the Nine crusade when I read it all..

What you reckon??

IF so to the best of your judgement, should there be a Trivia section added to their page??

Cheers in Advance mate. Happy and Merry Holidays (OR Merry Christmas :) ) And have a Safe and Happy and Great New Year and 2017.

Mythic Dawn

Stop edit warring? I'm sorry for trying to make this wiki a referenced and reliable place for the lore. You didn't even take the effort to put up a reference, remember how the Skyrim page ended up? It's on a bloody lockdown because of the fact that nearly nothing on there is referenced. Yet when I remove something to which there is no source stated, I'm suddenly wrong? Are you kidding me?

Before removing someone's edit because he is the founder or something like that, come up with some kind of evidence to prove that he actually is the founder, because I'm yet to see any. Won't lie that it is very likely so and that I've heard of it, vaguely, but as I said, no source, no place. Blademaster Jauffre (talk) 23:14, December 21, 2016 (UTC)
