Re: Editing helpEdit

Hi there.. well, I don't know why this happened I'm afraid. I have heard 1 or 2 have had this problem some time ago but I don't know if it got solved. I also asked Jimeee but he seems to be busy with ESO. Try another edit on another article in the mean time. It can have been a word you used maybe, that is on a "no no list" to use that makes this. I'll see if I can find out from another admin.. —EbonySkyrim Message! 20:25, February 18, 2014 (UTC)

I only used words from the game. I didn't make any unnecessary edits, I simply added the ingredients from Dawnguard (Ancestor Moth Wing, Chaurus Hunter Antennae, Gleamblossom, Poison Bloom, Yellow Mountain Flower), Hearthfire (Hawk's Egg, Salmon Roe), and Dragonborn (Ash Creep Cluster, Ash Hopper Jelly, Ashen Grass Pod, Boar Tusk, Burnt Spriggan Wood, Emperor Parasol Moss, Felsaad Tern Features, Netch Jelly, Scathecraw, Spawn Ash, Trama Root) onto the Created Potions (Skyrim) - List of Effects section.
I used the same annotations as other articles (* † ‡), I made sure everything was linked correctly, and that was all! I didn't plan to edit the page, I was just using it while in-game and noticed that those ingredients were missing so I tried to add them. I made an account because I thought perhaps that was why it wouldn't let me, but still received the same message.
If I paste the page code on Pastebin or something similar, would an Admin be able to edit the page successfully? Thouartaviking (talk) 23:15, February 18, 2014 (UTC)
Sure, do that and I can try but not until tomorrow. I'm going to bed now. It's 1 am here. —EbonySkyrim Message! 23:56, February 18, 2014 (UTC)
Sounds good. I have put it here. Hopefully this works! Thouartaviking (talk) 01:31, February 19, 2014 (UTC)
I worked for me, I'm not sure why you couldn't add it. Edit some other articles and see if the same thing happens then. —EbonySkyrim Message! 08:39, February 19, 2014 (UTC)
Interesting. It let me edit the page now (I removed a punctuation mark that I missed and made the word "ingredients" lowercase) and it worked fine. Let me publish without any errors. I wonder what the problem was? Very strange. Thouartaviking (talk) 08:54, February 19, 2014 (UTC)
Very strange, let me know if it happens again. :) —EbonySkyrim Message! 12:02, February 19, 2014 (UTC)
