Interwiki[edit source]

Hey Touloir,

When you're adding interwiki links, could you put a space between the appearances section and the <!--Interwiki links--> like this;

<!--Interwiki links-->

Thanks, —CarloV3r (talk) 17:17, December 11, 2016 (UTC)

Sure, I'll pay attention. —Touloir 17:34, December 11, 2016 (UTC)

Interwiki link[edit source]

Hey Touloir. Awesome work with the interwiki links. You've been at them for quite a long time now. I noticed that you added one for Abzag the Monster, which doesn't work. The French link was Abzag the Monster. I wanted to pop by and inform you of the mistake. Thanks, and see you around the wiki. The Crusader of Truth (talkchat) 21:27, October 5, 2017 (UTC)

I went ahead and corrected the link to Abzag le Monstre. Cheers The Cat Master (talk) 21:34, October 5, 2017 (UTC)

Minor Formatting[edit source]

Hey Touloir, I hope you're having a good day. Just wanted to give a quick mention to not add too much spacing, namely above the diabox between headers, and between the lead and the infobox. Example of what I mean is here. It's minor, but it's just how we format it, without the spacing. As always, feel free to message me if you have any questions, I don't mind at all. See you around the wiki! – The Crusader of Truth (talkchat) 21:12, January 31, 2018 (UTC)

Hey! I think it's because of a recent Wikia update that automatically displays the visual editor instead of the source one, and swapping between the two adds some spaces. I'll pay attention then! — Touloir, French AC and TES wikias admin 21:24, January 31, 2018 (UTC)

Character images[edit source]

Heya, great work with the uploads lately! I just wanted to let you know that we require applicable NPC images to be cropped to exactly a 3:5 ratio (e.g. 456×760, 648×1080, etc., highest res possible with that ratio). Most of your images are very close to that, but aren't quite there. I have a guide on NPC images for this wiki here which may be useful. Let me know on my talk page if you have any questions. Thanks! —Atvelonis (talk) 01:02, February 18, 2018 (UTC)

Very nice work! I have one more request: when you upload an image, I'd appreciate it if you used the full licensing template {{Information}}. I have some pre-filled examples on this page if you aren't sure what to write. Simply paste the appropriate template into the "Summary" box on Special:Upload; if you use this method you don't have to select anything under the "Licensing" tab on that page. Thanks. —Atvelonis (talk) 20:01, April 2, 2018 (UTC)
Thanks for the info and the pre-filled templates! Won't forget it next time. — Touloir, French AC and TES wikias admin 20:25, April 2, 2018 (UTC)

Infobox variables[edit source]

Hey, thank you greatly for the content as of late, it's greatly appreciated. I just had a quick request: when editing articles like Rakalu-daro, please don't remove any variables from the infobox, even if you leave the parameter empty. For example services, occupation, etc. can just have nothing in them if they're not applicable. The reason for this is because it is easier for my bot to do infobox-related work if they all have the correct parameters. Thanks! —Atvelonis (talk) 01:02, November 29, 2019 (UTC)

Duly noted! But speaking of Rakalu-daro, you can't attack or pickpocket her, therefore she has neither health nor class. So... should I leave these "missing" for those kind of NPCs ? — Touloir, French AC and TES wikias admin 01:20, November 29, 2019 (UTC)
If Rakalu has no class then you can write N/A as the parameter. Are you sure that she has no health at all? I think that there are some ways to view NPC health with add-ons. But if she actually just doesn't have health (as opposed to it being 0, or 1, or 27,000, etc.), then you can write N/A as well I suppose. —Atvelonis (talk) 04:31, November 29, 2019 (UTC)
Greetings. An ability to attack or pickpocket someone has an effect on the "Essential" parameter of the infobox. If you can do that to them, fill it with "no", and vice versa. Most of the time, even if you can't attack or pickpocket the character, it has a fixed amount of hitpoints. In the game settings you can turn on the ability to see health in % or rounded to a nearest thousand in the vanilla game, but to see the exact values, you need some addon. The exception to this rule are entities with whom you can engage in a conversation, but who don't have a healthbar when you are looking at them. These entities are technically objects (examples include Strange Sapling and Dark Brotherhood Doors), but for the wiki purposes some can be considered to be characters or creatures based on in-game facts and interactions.
