Vulwulf Snow-Shod is a Nord war veteran in Riften. He is the patriarch of the Snow-Shod family.

Personality and Traits

Spending most of his time in the Bee & Barb, Vulwulf often promotes Ulfric Stormcloak and the agenda of a Free Skyrim. If initiated in dialogue he will often be asked to be left alone as he is mourning the loss of his daughter, Lilija.  

Background

The Great War

Vulwulf was a soldier in the Great War serving on the side of the Empire against the Thalmor. The war's bloody nature struck Vulwulf hard. During that war he met the healer Nura, his future wife.

Aftermath and the Stormcloaks

After the war, he moved to Riften with his wife. As true believers in the divine Talos, they became furious with the Empire when they signed the White-Gold Concordat, and felt betrayed. When Ulfric Stormcloak started the Civil war for Skyrim, Vulwulf and his wife started supporting the Stormcloaks. Together with Nura they had two sons, Asgeir Snow-Shod and Unmid Snow-Shod, and a daughter named Lilija. They raised their children with talk about honor and the obligation to their homeland. Much to his content, the oldest son, Unmid, became a housecarl to the Jarl of Riften, and his daughter, Lilija, joined the Stormcloaks as a healer only to fall a few months later without spilling any blood herself. Vulwulf mourns her death deeply.

Vulwulf is a possible target needed to be intimidated by initiating a brawl.

Spread the Love

When tasked to distribute The Warmth of Mara to the citizens of Riften, Vulwulf would respond with doubt in Mara as she's not doing anything about the war in which hundreds of Stormcloak soldiers die in for no good reason.

Bound Until Death

Vulwulf appears on the wedding ceremony between his son Asgeir and his fiance Vittoria Vici. He strongly disapproves of their wedding and consider it to a loss of a son. Vulwulf will claim that Vittoria's death was an Imperial conspiracy to blame the Stormcloaks.

• Vulwulf talks to the Dragonborn with disdain if he/she is an Imperial.
