Werewolf Pelt is a unique item in The Elder Scrolls V: Dawnguard.
Location
It can be found inside Castle Volkihar, in Harkon's Quarters in a display case. It can be acquired either by joining the Volkihar Vampire faction and thereby having access to the castle early on, or when assaulting the castle later with the Dawnguard. Taking it during the Dawnguard assault counts it as a stolen item, though it can be sold to a Fence and bought back to remove the stolen tag. It respawns with the rest of the castle's contents. It's presence in Harkon's quarters sugggests that it was a trophy taken from a slain werewolf, due to Harkon's hatred of lycanthropes.
It can not be obtained from werewolves as they will drop a wolf pelt.
