Whispering Lady

The Whispering Lady is a voice behind a door. Nelkir, the youngest son of Balgruuf the Greater, has been listening to her whispering. After talking to her, Dragonborn discovers she is in fact the Daedric Lord Mephala.

Location

The Whispering Lady's door is in the basement of Dragonreach.

Trivia

• If the Door is unlocked through console commands the whispering lady can be seen, atleast a placeholder for the audio that looks like a floating dresser.
• The Door can also be unlocked without console commands as well. If you stand near the door and get a guard to come near you (after attacking them) they will open the door. However, you cannot retrieve the Ebony Blade yet, as the placeholder dresser for the Whispering Lady is blocking the path in the room.
