Wolves are aggressive canines who inhabit both the wilderness and dungeons. They are often encountered in groups and will attack by biting any intruder who invades their lair.

These creatures are dangerous opponents at low levels. However, after gaining experience, wolves become a minor enemy who will not cause significant damage to the Eternal Champion. They are between Lizard Men and their stronger cousin, the Snow Wolf, in terms of strength.

Wolves are first encountered in the dungeon of Stonekeep during the quest "Fang Lair." Large numbers of wolves may also appear in Elden Grove.

There is a stronger variant that is encountered in the northern, colder regions, the Snow Wolf, which possesses a ranged attack.
