A wood chopping block.
- Not to be confused with The Chopping Block.
A Wood Chopping Block is used to create firewood and requires a Woodcutter's Axe to use. Each session yields six pieces of firewood. The firewood subsequently can be sold to various characters like Hod, Hulda, and Gilfre, or used to create arrows, bolts, and crossbows at blacksmith's forges with the Dawnguard add-on.

Trivia[]
- Unlike most other interactable objects, NPCs will not stop using it when the Dragonborn attempts to use it.
- Although they require Woodcutter's Axes to chop firewood on, most wood chopping blocks are not near one.
- Swinging at the chopping block with the woodcutter's axe equipped will not produce firewood; the animation sequence must be activated.
