Xaselm is a fort located north-east of The Fringe. A sorceress, Relmyna Verenim, lives there conducting her experiments on humans and creatures. She is the creator of the Gatekeeper.
Note: Avoid entering Xaselm unless you are going as part of the quest Rebuilding the Gatekeeper. If you attempt to enter, one of the Flesh Atronachs guarding the area may attempt to chase you while you are unable to unlock a door only accessible with a key. If this happens, the bug where you cannot rid yourself of an enemy may occur, causing you to be unable to fast travel, sleep, or wait.
