Yngling Half-Troll is a Nord Noble and Councilor of House Hlaalu, who resides in his manor at the St. Olms Plaza in Vivec City.

Background

game rats "Yes, I raise game rats for the Arena. I train them myself. The rat breeding pen is in my basement. Edryno should have given you a key. Be careful with my rats, [PC Name]."

game rats (if they have killed the rats) "You killed my game rats, [PC Name]. How can I beat Dram Bero in the Arena if I don't have any game rats?"
game rats (if they only killed the diseased rats) "I'm glad you spared my game rats. Go talk to Edryno Arethi. I told her to give you a bonus if you did your job well."

Hlaalu Hortator

Hlaalu Hortator "A Hortator is a war leader for a Great House. Why?"

"Ask how a Hortator is chosen." "I think the Hlaalu councilors have to vote for him. And all the councilors must vote for the Hortator."
"Tell your story and ask to be confirmed as Hortator." "That's a touching story, but if you don't have 2000 drakes, you won't get my vote."
"Give Yngling 2000 drakes." "A pleasure doing business with you, [PC Name]. And I'm a man of my word. You got my vote for the office of Hortator of House Hlaalu. Once you get everyone's vote, talk to Crassius Curio."
"Stall for time." "Go ahead. Take your time. I'm ready when you're ready."
Hlaalu Hortator (not having 2000 gold) "You get my vote for Hortator of House Hlaalu when I get my money."
Hlaalu Hortator (having 2000 gold) "You get my vote for Hortator of House Hlaalu when I get my 1000 drakes."

Hlaalu Hortator "I said you had my vote, and I'm a man of my word, but you have to get the other Hlaalu Councilors to agree."
Hlaalu Hortator (after gathering all required votes) "So the other councilors agreed to name you Hortator, eh? Hope you got your money's worth. So you probably have a lot of work to do. And somewhere else to do it. Go see Crassius Curio. He's got the Belt of the Hortator, which you're supposed to wear."
Hlaalu Hortator (being the Hlaalu Hortator) "You are the Hortator of House Hlaalu, [PC Name]."

Hlaalu Hortator (if they have killed either Crassius Curio, Dram Bero, Nevena Ules, or Velanda Omani)

Yngling's Ledger

corruption "You? Accuse me of corruption? Just who do you think you are?"

corruption (carrying Yngling's Ledger) "Give me my ledger, thief, or you'll regret it."

"You're the real thief." "You'll pay for that, thief!" (attacks)
"Take it." "Good. I'll just tear this ledger up. We are done speaking. Leave before I really get angry."
corruption "I think I told you that our conversation about this was over. You try my patience."
