Zones, sometimes referred to as Regions, are large portions of Tamriel that are available to players in The Elder Scrolls Online. Some zones are divided into three smaller regions.

Trivia

• Most of the regions in the Daggerfall Covenant originated or derive from the many regions in the Iliac Bay in The Elder Scrolls II: Daggerfall. Same goes with Glenumbra, Alik'r Desert, and Wrothgar which originate in Daggerfall.
