Zuuk is the most well-known member of the Kothringi tribesmen who once inhabited the province of Black Marsh, and eventually died out as a result of the Knahaten Flu.[1] He appears in the book series 2920, The Last Year of the First Era, and is known to have been loyal to Prince Juilek's mother.
Sometime after the start of the Second Era, he returned home, where he founded a township. After five generations, the township renamed it after him, in his honor.[2]

- The location of Zuuk is intentionally the same—it was named after the character from the 2920 books.[2]
